The 2014 Gumball 3000 Supercar Rally is Just Around the Corner
Hi guys, I'm Shmee, and things are gearing up towards the 2014 Gumball 3000 supercar rally. The theme this year is Miami Vice, and it's going to be an epic adventure. The rally kicks off in Miami, USA, and then heads up to Atlanta, New York, before all of the cars are flown by Antonov plane over to Europe. From there, we'll drive from Scotland down to London, Paris, Barcelona, and finish in Ibiza.
The Rally Route
This year's route is going to take us on a cross-continent journey, with drivers taking turns navigating through some of the most stunning landscapes in the world. The cars will be flying over the Atlantic Ocean before landing in Europe, where we'll embark on a thrilling drive through the UK and into mainland Europe. We'll have to be ready for anything, from unpredictable weather conditions to challenging road courses.
The Cars
One of the most exciting aspects of the Gumball 3000 is the incredible line-up of supercars that will be participating in this year's rally. The theme Miami Vice has been taken inspiration from the iconic TV series, with many of the cars being wrapped in retro-style designs inspired by the show. But it's not just about aesthetics - these cars are incredibly powerful and capable, making them perfect for the demands of the rally.
My Personal Favorite
One car that caught my eye is a matte black Ferrari 12 Berlinetta, which features bright pink and blue stripes. It's exactly the sort of car you'd expect to see at a Gumball 3000 rally - it's got all the right ingredients: front engine, V12 power, plenty of comfort, and decent boot space. Whether or not this is just a guideline for car owners who want to emulate the look of their favorite TV show, one thing is certain - it looks amazing.
What Can I Expect?
As always, the videos of every car participating in the rally will be posted on my channel, Chimi150, and updated daily as we go along. If you've watched my channel before, you know that I've done the last couple of Gumballs and have posted some epic videos - so you won't want to miss those! But what's new this year is the theme Miami Vice, which promises to be just as exciting as ever.
Cross-Continent Adventure
One of the things that sets the Gumball 3000 apart from other car rallies is its cross-continent route. We'll be driving in the USA one day and then hitting the roads of Europe the next - it's a bit like having two holidays in one! And let me tell you, I'm looking forward to experiencing all of the different cultures and landscapes that this journey will take us through.
Racing with Friends
In between filming the rally, my friends and I have been getting together for some driving sessions. Last time, we jumped into a Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series - it's an incredible car that offers everything you need for a thrilling driving experience. And now, we're going to check out the Aston Martin - I'm excited to get behind the wheel of this iconic supercar and see what it has to offer.
