Forza Motorsport 5- An Honest Review

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enOh Forza 5 I have long awaited you however we need to talk Forza Motorsport 5 is a game many automotive enthusiasts like myself have been waiting for a long time from the amount of cars and its garage to the different game modes and also of course the customization now let's start with the visuals Forza 5 is easily the prettiest game I have ever played the Sun reflects the textures are beautiful and precise and it's a great showcase of the next-gen console the Sun reflects off the car as you drive along and it's a great visual experience one thing that has greatly improved are the environments Forza 4 is environments were definitely struggling these environments are a step up from I would say Forza horizon which always had an edge on the environments over Forza 4 the customization is as in-depth as always another cool feature is that carbon fiber is actually a real thing now and no need to go to the storefront and buy a vinyl you can also do v8 motor swaps and pretty much anything like this 240sx here sounds like a Chevy LS or even a four-rotor racing motor it's just as much of a handful as you think it would be with the new feedback system in the controller I tend to accidentally slam on the brakes the vibration in the triggers is definitely a new feeling to get used to however I feel as over time it'll become a great thing to take advantage of for example in a fully built Toyota Supra you just feel the tire struggling for dear life trying to hook on to the pavement speaking of the Supra the sound design in this game is absolutely phenomenal the fully built 2jz screams just like something out of Texas 2k this year even the twin turbo Lamborghini such as this Guyardo Superleggera sound like something straight out of underground racing another painstakingly thing a development turn 10 did was make every single car available in the auto Vista you pretty much take a gander at just about anything and you can also get in the car turn the ignition on and rev the engine you however now this is where things go downhill first is the absolute lack of tracks legendary tracks of the Forza franchise such as fujimi and even maple valley are absent this makes the career very fatiguing as you drive the same track over and over again the free play is a joke you can only use the cars that are in your garage or you can use some rental cars and only a few and you'll learn this you can borrow this car for free but you won't earn credits or level up while driving it that's really what I wanted to hear also there's no drag racing even though they have drag radials available the Forza profile is also back but it just doesn't feel as personal all the logos kind of have the same look and it just doesn't feel like your own you scroll through all the rewards and going oh it's just the basic achievements you'd expect and wait what drag race there is no drag racing I'm confused and then there's the multiplayer there are no public lobbies there are no custom lobbies there is no auction house it is just very specific matchmaking some of my best memories ever playing Forza we're just goofing around with other players showing off our cars ah some of my best friends in the real life car scene I met through public lobbies on Forza 4 so this emotional attachment really doesn't help I mean even fours a freaking Horizon head public lobbies I don't understand what this was about I mean sure you can create custom lobbies that are private but it's not the same server format you have to play with friends only I played the career nearly all day to get these cars just to cruise around with or leisurely drive about but then I realize I wasted my entire day let alone multiplayer has never even worked for me and now Forza 5 s biggest letdown the game is simply incomplete and microtransactions is what completes it want to just drive the new la Ferrari for the experience sorry you have to buy it and not only can you not buy it by itself you have to buy it in a pack want to just drive a Ford Raptor sorry you have to buy a $20 car pack they literally picked out a bunch of cars that are Forza favorites and made them DLC we paid all this money to buy the Xbox one to buy your launch game and you do this to us I just simply don't understand it even the parts you can buy with tokens then there's more you just want to drive in the test track on the airfield like the last game sorry you're limited by Jersey walls as a game with its technology and the driving experience and Forza 5 it is a fantastic game the physics are absolutely astounding and the visuals are nothing short of Awesome however with this lack of features and multiplayer no storefront no auction house no community period I feel that the Forza community is going to die off if they don't do something about it for presentation I give Forza 5 a 10 out of 10 for everything else I give it a 7 out of 10 it just simply was disappointing it is just absolutely ridiculous what turn 10 was thinking to do to their community unless they fix it thanks for watchingOh Forza 5 I have long awaited you however we need to talk Forza Motorsport 5 is
