Bath and Body Products from OwlCrate
I'm excited to share with you my thoughts on the bath and body products that came with this month's OwlCrate subscription box. I have to admit, I don't use my bath very often, but I love the idea of having a relaxing treat every now and then. This month, I received a lovely keychain that says "Oh something from Prague" inspired by The Poison Kitchen, which is one of my favorite series. I'm not sure what it means, but I do know that I'll be using it to add some magic to my daily life.
Next up, I have this adorable zippered pouch that comes with the box. It's designed with a cute little owl and says "Light Take Risk Follow Your Heart", which is just too sweet. I'm not sure what I'll use it for yet, but I can already imagine storing all sorts of goodies inside it. I've also been known to stash lipsticks in my purse, so this pouch could come in handy for that.
The next item on my list is the enamel pen with a design that looks like both a sun and a moon. I'm not sure what's up with that, but it does look pretty. The pen itself is very shiny and I can tell it will be useful for signing books or writing notes.
Finally, we have this beautiful box that contains the book "Red London" by Naomi Novik, which is part of her Uprooted series. This book has been on my list for a while now, and I'm excited to finally get my hands on it. The cover is stunning, with a design that features a beautiful floral pattern.
In addition to these items, OwlCrate also sent me a pamphlet that lists all the goodies inside the box. It's always fun to see what other surprises I'll receive with each subscription. I have to say, I'm loving this month's theme of witches and wonder. The item designed by Talia Skyes is particularly cool, as it adds an extra layer of dimension to the box.
Clothing and Accessories
Moving on from bath and body products, let's talk about some of the clothing and accessories that came with my OwlCrate subscription. I was thrilled to receive this beautiful keychain that says "Legend Born" - unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to read the book it was inspired by, but I do know that I'll be displaying it proudly in my home.
One of my favorite items from the box is this adorable enamel pin featuring a design that looks like a sun. It's so shiny and fun, and I can already imagine wearing it on my jacket or backpack. The rest of the clothing items are also lovely, including this beautiful hairbrush with a cute floral pattern.
Book Reviews
Now that we've talked about the goodies in the box, let's move on to some book reviews! This month's book is "The Gilded Ones" by Naomi Novik, which I've been dying to read. The cover is stunning, and the back of the book features a beautiful design with the phrase "Are we girls or are we demons?" - it's just too cool.
I also have to give a shoutout to this pamphlet that comes with my subscription every month. It lists all the items inside the box, which is always fun for me as I love being organized. This month's theme of witches and wonder has really caught my attention, and I'm excited to see what other goodies I'll receive in future boxes.
Personal Note
As a mom, I sometimes feel like I don't fit into the typical mold of "mom life". But the truth is, I'm just trying to figure things out as I go along. And when it comes to reading, I'm no exception. This month's subscription box was a nice reminder that there are all sorts of ways to enjoy books - whether it's using them for self-care or storing them in cute little pouches.
Overall, I'm really happy with this month's OwlCrate subscription. The bath and body products were lovely, the clothing items were adorable, and the book is already on my reading list. It's always fun to receive a new box every month, and I know that I'll be enjoying these goodies for a long time to come.

actually is a hairbrush which coincidentally i need one you know when you have a lot of hair you gotta brush it and it gets your hair brush gets dirty i messed up you need to buy a new one that's actually an interesting question how often do you buy a new hairbrush because i've had my one for too long what's the limit two a year one a year one every five years i don't know but either way it's a hair brush on the back it's got this beautiful design no clue what it means but this is from star daughter either way it's great i will be using it because like i said my hair brush is done so but this one is quite small i got a lot of hair but this would probably be good for everybody else because i just have a lot of hair like i got thick hair like got it from my mom but i do like this essential next up some asmr actions were there this is the lost jawarts um so this is i think this is bath salts yes let's smell what i like it i don't love it i don't use bath salts i use bubble bath for my child does that count i'm probably not so this is from we hunt the flame inspired bath salts i don't know what like i don't know what flavor my bad oh it's sea salt chamomile lemongrass orange peel lavender definitely lavender rose hibiscus um yeah so that's really awesome i will probably give this away to a friend because i just don't i don't ever use my bath never have um next up we have schwab shelf like it's getting insane this is first in the part of a four-part collectible series so each tin in the series represents a book that can be found in the shelves and libraries of the four different london so this one's from red london obviously is that right it's been so long but either way it's really pretty i love these because i store bookmarks in them that's not mom-ish that's just a bookworm there you go i'm building some credibility back you know i store other things them not mob things i'm more than a mop can this clothing but either way it's really pretty it's probably my favorite thing because oh i just like the way it looks too and the book this month is the gilded ones by naomi for this is outcast by blood warriors by choice this cover is stunning so this is an exclusive signed edition gosh this is a beautiful the back oh my gosh are we girls or are we demons are we going to die are we going to survive beautiful so let's see oh that's really pretty too love it like i said it is signed i don't know anything about this book because your girl's been horrible with reading and also reading why fantasy the guild of ones is bold and immersive debut perfect for fans of children of blood and bone i have read that black panther love that and mulan it follows 16 year old deccan request to discover her destiny as a near immortal with magical powers ah that's awesome it sounds really great it looks amazing like this cover it might be one of my favorite covers of the year already that's beautiful you're also getting a little pamphlet of what's in the box things like that so the outright one oh the alchemy one is actually really great because it has all of these designs behind it whereas the regular one doesn't so i really actually like the owlcrate one a lot better i feel like it adds a little bit more dimension to it and just makes it look bolder honestly you're also getting next month's theme is of witches and wonder oh and you're also getting an item designed by talia skyles that's really awesome so yeah that's everything you're getting i think my favorite thing is this because i think i'll just use it and honestly the hair brush because
