iOS 10 Beta 7 What's New

Apple Released iOS 10 Beta 6 and 7 for Developers and Public Beta Testers

Today, Apple released yet another beta for iOS 10, and this time it's available to both developers and public beta testers. The latest build numbers are 14E5A3D5, which can be accessed through the Software Update section on your device. As expected, there are no new features added to this update, but rather some minor changes within the Settings application.

One of the first things you'll notice when accessing the Settings app is that "Data" has been moved to a more prominent location. Instead of being listed under Mail, Contacts, and Calendar, it now has its own separate section where you can control your data roaming, LTE, and disable data altogether. This change seems to be an effort to clean up the interface and make it easier for users to manage their settings.

Furthermore, Apple is rumored to be releasing new hardware in the near future, with the iPhone 7 series expected to launch on September 9th or possibly September 16th. To test this new software before the official release of the device, developers can now access iOS 10 beta 7, while public beta testers can get their hands on iOS 10 beta 6.

The performance of the latest iOS 10 beta has been put to the test on an iPhone 5, which continues to show impressive results. The single-core score has dropped by about 5 points from its previous iteration, but the multi-core Kord has seen a significant increase in performance. This is a testament to Apple's ability to optimize their software for older devices like the iPhone 5.

As for the overall impact of this latest beta release, it's clear that Apple is aiming for a flawless release of iOS 10 this year. After last year's issues with iOS 9, Apple seems determined to avoid any major hiccups with this latest update. By pushing software out quickly and testing it on devices like the iPhone 5, they can ensure that their product is ready for launch.

It's worth noting that while there are no new features added to this update, it does provide a glimpse into what Apple may have in store for us when the full release of iOS 10 arrives. Any additional features or changes will likely be discussed in future videos and updates from iDevice help.

For now, we can rest assured that our devices will continue to perform well with the latest software, thanks to Apple's dedication to optimizing their products for a wide range of users and devices.
