you gas braces are high though oh yeah yeah whatever getting higher and higher man that's like the trickiest part about holding one of these oh god yeah because uh our mileage has been horrible uh currently right now it's 34 liters per 100 kilometers which is in the single digit mpgs i believe half a tank is gone and we just got here and like went around a little bit yeah it's it's really bad on gas so i guess the changes from the non-hellcat durango this one's got a bunch of hellcat badges yes it does it's also a little bit wider as well i mean that's pretty much it you can also option the stripes on this one which i believe you can also get on the regular srt not always a fan of stripes but the stripes make sense on this i really don't want the stripes on this like i think you should delete them and just kind of fly under the radar nobody knows this thing probably even exists but like this havoc stripe this is like the most appropriately striped suv it is it is and then it is a little lower as well yeah yeah because we do have the srt suspension we also have these really really big wheels because you really need some meat to put this power down those wheels look amazing and what would be the continental recommended tire for durango srt the extreme contact dws-06 plus and so this being a 2021 this is actually the only year of production this is already out of current gen of the trackpot that exists more than this in terms of looks i kind of like the three rowness of it though yeah no i get that and there's probably going to be another well i don't know if there will there be another one like maybe hybrid yeah e muscle that's that's the next thing that's happening yes that's the juice i was thirsty for oh my god this gives you that electric car thing where i'm in the passenger seat and like it just hurts my neck but with gas gasoline dinosaurs america if you miss an up shift it's gonna bog so let's get you into the driver's seat and i want you to try to launch it and shift with the paddles and nail every shift that is quite the task but i am up to the challenge nailed it oh my god i'm proud of myself it might have been a little early but at least you didn't bog it's because we're spinning because now it's actually raining a little bit but this is all wheel drive heavily rear biased and the only reason we were able to do that launch versus like a charger or a challenger is because we have this all-wheel drive chargers and challengers getting to do them in the drive no they can't and this apparently has an nhra certified 11.5 second quarter mile which is faster than what we did in the red eye with an extra like almost 100 horsepower and the 0 to 60 is 3.5 seconds which again would be faster than the charger or challenger because we can actually hook up and if we want at the time that with our performance pages generally performance pages take forever to load in dodges right uh every single dodge we've driven but now with this new infotainment no lag it's great it's much faster everything's clear the infotainment makes everything look so much nicer i think they did an amazing job with that yeah it's nice to have wireless android auto and apple carplay but the one thing that's very dodge of this is the backup camera yeah like straight up still interlaced and stuff it's really bad and we've previously driven the track hawk which we called the tow hawk this is the real tow hawk this can actually tow 8 700 pounds which is like the most in this class yeah this class is like kind of ridiculous though i mean yeah that's good if you want to tow stuff like if you had to track a car and put on a trailer you could probably tow two well maybe not and then also take this to the drag strip on the way exactly so let's talk about this exhaust sound because it's a hellcat it sounds amazing it sounds really good but all hellcats sound the same yeah so it's not like it's no different it's not that special amongst hellcats amongst hellcats but amongst the general population of every other vehicle that's wild it's very superior and let's take a listen to the outside but would you rather have this sound or the sound of that jaguar f-pace exhaust-wise that f-base i think was better but supercharger wine this is cooler i agree the exhaust definitely sounded more aggressive than that one just more violent back there in the third row which is actually remarkable but then the trunk room is kind of limited by the third row but you still can stack two carry-ons back there when the third row is up and then if you're in the middle row we got some cool screens here with not only hdmi but the old-school av stuff so you could plug in an n64 theoretically no 100 you could plug it in n64 okay there's no theories about it well yeah i just we haven't done it so you know you got to check yourself sometimes you haven't done it you've done it yeah to this car n64 this you've already done right when i higher and higher man that's like the trickiest part about holding one of these oh god yeah because uh our mileage has been horrible uh currently right now it's 34 liters per 100 kilometers which is in the single digit mpgs i believe half a tank is gone and we just got here and like went around a little bit yeah it's it's really bad on gas so i guess the changes from the non-hellcat durango this one's got a bunch of hellcat badges yes it does it's also a little bit wider as well i mean that's pretty much it you can also option the stripes on this one which i believe you can also get on the regular srt not always a fan of stripes but the stripes make sense on this i really don't want the stripes on this like i think you should delete them and just kind of fly under the radar nobody knows this thing probably even exists but like this havoc stripe this is like the most appropriately striped suv it is it is and then it is a little lower as well yeah yeah because we do have the srt suspension we also have these really really big wheels because you really need some meat to put this power down those wheels look amazing and what would be the continental recommended tire for durango srt the extreme contact dws-06 plus and so this being a 2021 this is actually the only year of production this is already out of production for 2022 because of emissions reasons and if you're looking bit of changes in order to just refresh this but then overall looks wise do you like the look of this more than i guess the new jeeps that came out this year uh yes i do like significantly i don't really like the new jeeps now grand wagoneer looked weird but very cool that with a hellcat motor would be perfect i like the current gen of the trackpot that exists more than this in terms of looks i kind of like the three rowness of it though yeah no i get that and there's probably going to be another well i don't know if there will there be another one like maybe hybrid yeah e muscle that's that's the next thing that's happening yes that's the juice i was thirsty for oh my god this gives you that electric car thing where i'm in the passenger seat and like it just hurts my neck but with gas gasoline dinosaurs america if you miss an up shift it's gonna bog so let's get you into the driver's seat and i want you to try to launch it and shift with the paddles and nail every shift that is quite the task but i am up to the challenge nailed it oh my god i'm proud of myself it might have been a little early but at least you didn't bog it's because we're spinning because now it's actually raining a little bit but this is all wheel drive heavily rear biased and the only reason we were able to do that launch versus like a charger or a challenger is because we have this all-wheel drive chargers and challengers getting to do them in the drive no they can't and this apparently has an nhra certified 11.5 second quarter mile which is faster than what we did in the red eye with an extra like almost 100 horsepower and the 0 to 60 is 3.5 seconds which again would be faster than the charger or challenger because we can actually hook up and if we want at the time that with our performance pages generally performance pages take forever to load in dodges right uh every single dodge we've driven but now with this new infotainment no lag it's great it's much faster everything's clear the infotainment makes everything look so much nicer i think they did an amazing job with that yeah it's nice to have wireless android auto and apple carplay but the one thing that's very dodge of this is the backup camera yeah like straight up still interlaced and stuff it's really bad and we've previously driven the track hawk which we called the tow hawk this is the real tow hawk this can actually tow 8 700 pounds which is like the most in this class yeah this class is like kind of ridiculous though i mean yeah that's good if you want to tow stuff like if you had to track a car and put on a trailer you could probably tow two well maybe not and then also take this to the drag strip on the way exactly so let's talk about this exhaust sound because it's a hellcat it sounds amazing it sounds really good but all hellcats sound the same yeah so it's not like it's no different it's not that special amongst hellcats amongst hellcats but amongst the general population of every other vehicle that's wild it's very superior and let's take a listen to the outside but would you rather have this sound or the sound of that jaguar f-pace exhaust-wise that f-base i think was better but supercharger wine this is cooler i agree the exhaust definitely sounded more aggressive than that one just more violent speaking of which that jaguar wins exhaust of the year congratulations we'll because of one crazy feature and that is the forged carbon that i have not seen outside of a lamborghini yeah it looks amazing here and i'm so sick of normal carbon fiber that this is so refreshing to see and i think you need extra weight savings in every possible way in here more like extra stuff we can charge people yeah yeah pretty much and then we do have hard buttons to control all of our climate we do have heated and cooled seats we've got a heated steering wheel everything you really want all right check this out so if i go to media you know how a lot of cars when you do the tuning knob it like screws everything up yeah this one's actually good and fast like that's it's pretty good that's so much better than every other screen that changes what you're seeing these pass three two one yes good job dodge always passes yeah they really do and then the cup holders fit cups just fine i've moved on to the mediums because i'm always tired because of my newborn and this does have a wireless charger however it is the worst wireless charger that i have seen okay yuri watch watch your function now it's already gone and it's already shifted out of its like you can't have a wireless charger with that this low level of grip okay so now let's send this into a cliche corner very carefully because it is wet even though it is all-wheel drive i can already feel that it's under steering just because it's a little bit greasy out right now but i mean i don't feel like him in a really big durango right now like yeah yeah this is great it handles well enough for what it is yeah and the suspension is really good it is adaptive you can change it through the infotainment but even in track mode the damping is still really really good like they did a fantastic job with the suspension i'm so sad that this is only one year of production also that little turn knocked my phone out of the wireless charger i know i know it's really bad could you please stop turning like forward or backwards yeah i have to if i hit the brakes it stops if i hit the gas it stops please no more i'll just not do anything just everything off park parking yeah and another cool thing is that the older dodgers remember like when they would start up you'd have to quickly say yes or no the heated seats cooled yeah that's right we actually have the hard buttons above everything so maybe all that complaining from everyone actually worked out yeah thank you for listening dodge also just keep producing this one year bro yeah i know and then as for seat comfort these are great nice big seats but this is the real race couch we said that the challenger and the treasurer yeah this is it because you have three rows of couch in this there's so much room in every single row a middle row is good even the back row is good you just lift the strap or whatever to get in it's not that difficult and i actually fit back there in the third row which is actually remarkable but then the trunk room is kind of limited by the third row but you still can stack two carry-ons back there when the third row is up and then if you're in the middle row we got some cool screens here with not only hdmi but the old-school av stuff so you could plug in an n64 theoretically no 100 you could plug it in n64 okay there's no theories about it well yeah i just we haven't done it so you know you got to check yourself sometimes you haven't done it you've done it yeah to this car n64 this you've already done right when i picked that up show me the footage i'll show you here it's right here show me right now hold and i and to launch this thing you do press the launch button and then you can also customize everything through the srt button which you have so many different ways to customize this you can also customize your actual launch control rpm but we're actually having trouble at 2500 keeping this thing to the ground because it just wants to keep going already at 2 500. the funniest part about the driving modes is to get into eco mode you have to click the street race technology button yes but the eco mode's good it like really limits how much power you get so then before we get to the price remember if you're
