HYTE at CES 2024 _ Keeb Keyboard, Thicc Q60, and More

Hey everyone, Jake here with Digital Trends, and I'm here at the HYTE booth at CES 2024, I'm joined by Rob Teller, who is the Product Director for HYTE. So, what do you do at HYTE? I come up with the ideas and try to keep them as true to the vision as possible. We're a company that's all about creating innovative products that push the boundaries of what's possible in the world of PC hardware.

One of our main goals is to create products that are not just functional, but also beautiful and user-friendly. We believe that good design can make a huge difference in the way we interact with technology, and we're committed to creating products that make people's lives easier and more enjoyable. Whether it's a new keyboard, a liquid cooler, or a case, we want our products to stand out from the crowd and leave a lasting impression.

So, what can you tell us about HYTE's latest product releases? Well, I'm excited to say that we've got three brand-new products here at CES 2024. First up is the Link Ecosystem, which is a whole new way of thinking about PC hardware. It's a system that lets you control all of your PC components with just one device, using a simple and intuitive interface. We're talking LED light strips, fans, liquid coolers - everything can be controlled from this one hub.

But what really sets the Link Ecosystem apart is its flexibility and customizability. You can take our LED light strips and run them through any Nexus system, without having to worry about compatibility or installation. And if you want to get really creative, you can even remap their placement and software without any issues. It's a game-changer for anyone who wants to take their PC build to the next level.

Of course, no new product release would be complete without some impressive specs and features. The Link Ecosystem is no exception. We're talking about a system that lets you load up to 32 gigs of MPEG-4 video on our liquid cooler's storage, which is unheard of in the PC hardware world. And with our proprietary arm cortex processor and 32-bit Cod processor, this thing can handle anything you throw at it.

But wait, there's more! The Link Ecosystem also comes with a built-in screen that pivots and shows off all sorts of fun and useful information - like CPU temps, GPU usage, and even system diagnostics. And the best part? It's all wireless, so you don't have to worry about any cluttered cables or complicated setup.

And speaking of new products, we've also got an all-new liquid cooler that's sure to blow some minds. I'm talking about a 240mm AIO that outperforms every other 360mm and 420mm cooler on the market. And what really sets it apart is its expandability - you can run your entire system's fans and lighting off of just this one device, without any additional boxes or complicated setup.

But don't just take my word for it - we've put this thing through some serious testing to prove that it's the real deal. With 32 gigs of storage, a quad-core arm cortex processor, and a 2G DDR4 memory module, this liquid cooler is capable of handling even the most demanding PC builds.

And finally, we've got an all-new keyboard that's sure to delight any enthusiast PC builder. The Y40, Y60, and Y70 touch series are some of the most popular cases among enthusiasts, and now they're getting a serious upgrade. We're talking about keyboards with customizable backlighting, macro keys, and even programmable switches.

But what really sets our keyboard apart is its flexibility and customizability. You can load up to 32 gigs of MPEG-4 video on our storage module, which means you can play your favorite games or watch your favorite shows without having to worry about running out of space. And with our proprietary Cod processor, this thing can handle anything you throw at it.

I'm excited to say that our keyboard is not just a pretty face - it's also got some serious features and capabilities. With its 32-bit Cod processor, you get the kind of performance and power that's usually reserved for high-end gaming computers. And with our customizable backlighting and macro keys, this thing can be tailored to fit any build or style.

I've got to say, I'm really impressed by what HYTE has brought to the table here at CES 2024. These products are not just innovative - they're also beautiful and user-friendly, which is exactly what we want from our PC hardware. Whether it's a new keyboard, a liquid cooler, or a case, we're committed to creating products that make people's lives easier and more enjoyable.

So, thank you for talking with me today, Rob - I really appreciate the time and insight into HYTE's latest product releases. And to everyone watching, thanks for tuning in - we'll see you in the next video!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enHey everyone Jake here with Digital Trends we're here at the HYTE booth at CES 2024 I'm here with  Rob Teller you you are what do you do at HYTE I'm the product director for HYTE your product  director at HYTE what is what does that mean uh I come up with the ideas and I try to keep them  as true to the original form as possible okay uh and prevent them from eroding as we come up  with roadblocks and production difficulties and just the logistics of real life bringing things  to the market try to keep the dream alive right so I mean HYTE only has I mean a handful of products  but about about a dozen products that is that right I think I think that even that's generous  yeah okay but they they've been very consistent so you oversee that make sure that everything is  yeah I I think I think a lot of brands right now they dilute their their offerings and it  makes it very ult to define what kind of brand they are they're sort of in the low end and the  high end and the middle and kind of keep crossing their paths and for for me I really want HYTE to  be about Innovation and keeping that dream alive is means keeping a very uh concentrated offering  okay gotcha and a lot of that's coming together here at CES right because you have this this  new ecosystem that you're kind of you know everything's kind of coming together now so  can you talk about that a little bit Yeah so we started the company by asking our team what are  we buying what are we spending our personal money on and this was back in like February 2021 and it  was keyboards everybody was buying keyboards everybody was at home everybody was slowly  becoming more conscious about what they wanted or wanted to try or what they didn't like or  what they might like and so there was a lot of experimentation with that and so we set out to  make a keyboard back before we made a Y60 before we made any of our other products we started this  this project and we we set out to make something that was completely different um we took a a first  stab at it and we showed it to the market it was people weren't super excited about it I think it  was heavy with materials cost and unit cost and so we try to leverage our ability to invest in  research and development and tooling and come out with a product that would require a lot of  investment but would keep the unit cost down and I think that that's what we've been managed to  achieve with with the key TK yeah yeah lot of lot of cool features on it I think that's interesting  for a lot of folks who know HYTE uh primarily as a PC case brand now kind of it seems like branching  out but like you said you started there yeah we start we started there and then it's like okay  but we also know how to do cases so it's like start doing those cases keeps clearly taking a  while and my approach is the schedule is the last thing I care about right because before  you launch a product the schedule seems like the most important thing in the world but the moment  that product hits the shelf the schedule is like not not very important that it's how good is it  how desirable is it is it aging is it moving and so for me we just kept rendering it and making it  better and better and more compelling and I I think it shows the the final goods sure it it  looks it looks fantastic but I mean that's not the only thing you have here you have the keyboard and  you also have this cooler and uh this kind of whole link ecosystem that's going on so can you  tell us about that so I I've been doing coolers for like a really long time um almost I would say  12 years of of doing AIOs uh I worked at Asetekuh Asetek obviously is very large manufacturer of  liquid coolers business partner Jeff also worked at Asetek it's really in our blood and there was a  product we wanted to make while we were there and that was an enthusiast grade liquid cooler and  obviously they've never really brought anything like that to the market and so coming and being  able to do HYTE it was like all right let's make an AIO and let's make it the best damn AIO that  it could possibly be and we knew it was going to take some time so trying to make something that  would be compelling again 3 years after we start the project it's very difficult but I I think we  we managed to do it it's the thickest radiator on the market the thickest fans on the market  it's a 240 mm AIO that outperforms every 360 on the market and even some of the 420 and then on  top of that it's completely expandable so you can run your entire system's fans and lighting off of  just the the liquid cooler there's no additional boxes there's nothing else you need to hook up the  LED strips can be plugged into the fans the fans can be plugged into the LED strips the fans have  thermal sensors and positioning sensors and the the screen pivots and all the wires go through  the tubes and yeah everything we could imagine the logo LEDs there's four LEDs for the logo  like everything coming to the market at $2.99 is obviously not the cheapest cooler but when you  start to split apart everything that it's able to do it's very aggressive even just from the screen  outclassing everybody else's screen I think Asus has been marketing their new liquid cooler has  been able to have a gif that can play 2,000 frames uh we have 32 gig of storage so you can load a  32 gig MPEG 4 32 gigs on the cooler the cooler itself has 32 gigs of storage uh 2 gigs of ddr4  memory it has a quad core 64-bit uh arm cortex processor and then it has another uh 32-bit Cod  processor just for the fats wow okay yeah so PC for your PC yeah exactly exactly you know you you  see like a Google Nest Thermostat really take over your house and digitize everything but in  terms of automating your hardware and getting your hardware to act more intelligently there  really hadn't been anything that really put that all together it was a series of compromises and on  top of that if it was advanced they sort of lock you into the ecosystem right we are releasing the  protocol for everything here so if you want to Homebrew your own software and control it without  ever installing our software go ahead you can do that yeah okay without any reverse engineering wow  great and it's not just restricted to the PC right you can take these LED light strips take them out  of the PC desk run that all through the Nexus sof and then remap remap their placement and software  without any issue lot of lot of flexibility there that's great so three new products here right we  got the the link ecosystem the cooler and the of course the key keyboard uh hey also has a bunch  of cases the Y40 the Y60 the Y70 touch uh some of the I'd say probably some of the most popular PC  cases among Enthusiast PC Builders uh but yeah I appreciate the time thank you for talking with me  my pleasure thank you and uh yeah thanks everyone for watching uh we'll see you in the next video\n"
