GPT-4 Vision - 5 Recursive Improvement Loops - WOW!

The Use of GPT-4 in Creating Viral YouTube Content: A Case Study

In this article, we will explore the use of GPT-4 in creating viral YouTube content, specifically focusing on the technique of combining GPT-4 with other tools and techniques to create engaging videos. We will examine a specific example of how GPT-4 was used to generate thumbnails and titles for a YouTube video about the moon's hidden secrets.

Further Down: Exploring the Limitations of Coherence

The author began by exploring the use of GPT-4 in generating images and text for a YouTube video. They created a series of images and videos that told a story, but struggled to maintain coherence throughout. The style of the images was consistent, but the individuals depicted were not. This led the author to experiment with different techniques to improve coherence.

A Man Appears: A Break in Coherence

Suddenly, the author introduced a new character into the narrative, which broke the coherence they had been striving for. This unexpected twist added an element of surprise to the story, making it more engaging and interesting. The author noted that this break in coherence was not necessarily bad, but rather created a sense of unpredictability.

Combining GPT-4 with Other Tools

The author used GPT-4 to analyze trends on YouTube and generate new IDs for videos. They also experimented with combining GPT-4 with other tools, such as the YouTube channel Voyager, which creates dramatic stories about space and aliens. The author copied thumbnails and video titles from this channel to use in their own project.

Creating a Viral Video: A Step-by-Step Guide

The author created a viral video by following a step-by-step guide. They first identified trends on YouTube and generated new IDs for videos based on these trends. They then used GPT-4 to analyze the performance of these videos and identify what worked best. The author also experimented with different thumbnails and titles, using images from the Voyager channel.

Components of a Viral Video

The author identified several key components that contribute to the success of viral videos. These include the use of well-known personalities, such as Neil deGrasse Tyson and Elon Musk, as well as mystery and unexplained phenomena. The author also noted the importance of creating a sense of urgency and using visually striking thumbnails.

Analyzing Successful Videos

The author analyzed five best-performing videos to identify common elements that contribute to their success. They used GPT-4 to analyze these videos and generate new IDs for related content. However, this technique was not entirely successful, and the author had to experiment with more images from the Voyager channel to achieve better results.

Creating a Thumbnail Description

The author created a thumbnail description for their video using the insights they gained from analyzing successful YouTube titles. They copied the description from the Voyager channel and used it in their own project. The resulting thumbnails were visually striking and effectively conveyed the sense of urgency and mystery that is characteristic of viral videos.

Choosing a Thumbnail

The author chose one of several thumbnail options to use for their video, opting for "The Moon's Hidden Mystery Top Scientist Reveal Shocking Discoveries". They noted that this title was both intriguing and attention-grabbing, making it likely to attract viewers.

Creating the Video Outline

Finally, the author created a video outline using GPT-4. The resulting outline included an introduction, historical background, introduction to new discoveries, deep dive into moon secrets, guest segment with a leading scientist, conclusion, credits, and call to action. This outline provided a clear structure for the video and helped the author stay focused on their key message.

Conclusion

In this article, we have explored the use of GPT-4 in creating viral YouTube content. We have seen how GPT-4 can be used to analyze trends, generate thumbnails and titles, and create a compelling outline for a video. While there were some challenges and limitations along the way, the author was ultimately able to create an engaging and attention-grabbing video using these techniques.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: entoday I thought I could show you how I have been using GPT 4 Vision to create these recursive Improvement Loops uh you can take for example as you can see in the background here I create with GPT 4 like an HTML code for a website I run this I take a screenshot of the website I feed that back into to GPT 4 Vision now improve this website based on the code you have we get a new code we run it again so we can create this long Improvement Loop we can also do this with product descriptions as you can see in the background here we try to create a product we feed it back back in and so on so on so I thought this was very interesting so let me show you how I have been doing this I think the best way to show you what I mean by a recursive Improvement Loop is to just run it with Dolly and GPT for wish so hello you're a professional artist can you describe this image for me so I just upload that image I found on Google certainly I'm looking for a I'm looking at a vivid description of a Stormtroopers helmet get this whole big description here right then we can just go to Dolly we can paste in hello can you describe the can you create this image for me uh then I paste in the prompt we got right then we can go back again to gp4 Vision paste in this image we got from Dolly now can you describe this image and then we get like this new description of it right and this creates like kind of a loop we can feed this over and over again then we take this description we go back to uh let's say DOL here and we feed that description in we get a new image and we can go on and on and develop this image so I did this like 10 15 times and I thought it turned out pretty cool so let's just watch this this clip I made from this uh recursive Improvement Loop okay so now you hopefully understand what I meant by a recursive Improvement Loop so now we can try to implement this in other more productive areas maybe so what I thought of was just to take a screenshot of a website that a code gp4 created for me so this is the website from my previous videos so here you can see we have the screenshot and we have the code so when we run this code here right HTML code we get this website and then we can just feed in both and we can kind of ask can you make some improvements on this uh given the code and the screenshot you provided here are some improvements I recommend to enhance the website look while keeping within the theme so we get typography navigation section spacing footer styling here's improved version of your code okay good we copy that code we run it again we end up with a bit of a different website right so this was the website we ended up with now that's a bit difference right and we take a screenshot of it we feed it back in we go here is the look now improve it we start a loop again here are some suggested improvements ments navigation bar header images text footer all right great here is a sample improved code we copy that again you can see this is going into a loop so you can go as far as you want with this just remember the code gets very long right okay so we run this again and I did this a few times and we ended up with this website I got to say that looks awesome right so it kind of improved a lot of things we added a second image you can see the trail we have here on my mouse pad it added that that's kind of cool we have this text box here it's kind of a terminal so we can type about and we get some kind of instruction here uh so welcome to my hacker Team website we got some images projects contact us this is like a contact theme uh contact site thing and we got some highlights on this I think it turned out great so this was I think it was five or six different Loops we did like fed in the screenshot ask for improvements back and forward like so very cool I was impressed by this and I'm really curious to see what kind of other use cases uh I'm can do with like a website thing and a UI thing so that's going to be interesting uh but I have some other stuff so let's check that out my next idea was to kind of create this uh product description of something uh so you can't go anywhere these days without seeing this girl like Taylor Swift she's kind of everywhere so I thought maybe we can make some kind of product in this style so I just went with 90 shoe for women in the style of the Taylor Swift AOS tour uh my inspiration is the images I have uploaded create a detailed description of the AOS tour shoe okay so let's design the AOS T shoe here I had like a custom instructions I'm going to show you that so I just had like you're a professional product designer your task is to take the user's ID create a visual product description based on the inspiration the images the user provides the product description must be very detailed okay so that that was kind of the the system prompt and and here we get like the '90s the AOS T 90s shoe description okay so we have some structure and material we have the color palette we have the design elements we have the design elements we have the functional features special edition feature okay I don't know about that but anyway so I copied the description here right I went over to Dolly tree I fed in like hello can you create a realistic image with white background of these shoes B on the description so paste it in the description and we got this back that was very n9s right so look at this uh but I don't think these are perfect so I kind of want to alter them so I just uh downloaded the image I went back here I pasted in the image great this is the first draft can you create a new description with more colors I don't know why I'm doing here but anyway uh okay so we got a new description so I copy that again went back to Dolly pasted that in and we got this one I thought wow that looks cool so I think I was pretty happy with that I don't think we have to do anymore very 90s Vibe kind of this Taylor swits AOS tour style if you kind of look at the inspiration here so you can see we have this pink blue and you look at this yeah I think this matches we have Aras on the sides here so I guess this works I haven't tried it with anything else or I forgot that uh I did a t-shirt so I kind of did the same thing uh with the description and Dolly and we ended up with this t-shirt so I just changed up things and I thought I looked pretty cool this AOS T t-shirts this was kind of cool right I don't know uh but I just wanted to try something else it was basically the same description but just a t-shirt I think this can have a great use case I don't know yet I'm I'm going to be exploring this more of course very cool uh let's do another one the next idea I had was try to create like this story and maybe we can create some roles that can critique that story take screenshots of the critique feed it back in and maybe improve the story on that we don't actually have to use gb4 vision for it but I think it can be a time saer so I just wanted to test it out so I just went uh let's write a short sci-fi story I think I had a system prompt in the background here I can't really remember so we get this outline and we get our short sci-fi story here so what you can do just copy that but before we do that I went ahead we need to create four roles that should evaluate a short sci-fi story and make suggestions for improvements what are the four best roles then we got this narrative analyst character development specialist thematic and World building expert language style editor okay that's fine so what I did then uh I went ahead created these four personalities here that can critique our story and then I kind of went and fed this story to each PE person so you can see here again you are aan nugan a thematic and World building expert uh here is the story critique it okay so we paste in the story and we get feedback on the story okay so what I did I just screenshotted all this feedback from all different roles okay then I go back to gp4 Vision I paste in all the critiques right so I don't know something is lagging here I don't know why uh I tried to just improve the story but that didn't work something happened so I said the critique has now arrived look at the critique create a summary of the improvements you want to do so we get a summary of improvements for the story based on critique feedback and here you can see all the list of things you want to improve by the story great now WR the improved story based on the critique okay good between loops and lumens and here we have like the new story based on this critique I read it seems much better to be honest so it kind of did improve if you read both stories so I think this can be something we can use I'm not 100% sure uh as a bonus I just wanted to show you how we can use doll E3 to create illustrations uh for this story so I just go to Dolly tree can you create four illustrations to this story start with creating the four key scenes then illustrations and here is the story so just paste in our story here right uh we get four different scenes and from those scenes we create some images so pretty simple but you can see they are not coherent here uh I haven't really figured out a great way to do this I think I tried to make a bit of a different approach here so here you can see I went illustrations must match style character similarity and being 69 format right on outline of the prompt with the '90s Retro comic style set the description of Dr Felicity Warren before before you create them and then I paste in the story and this was a bit better because now we get this illustration prompts so it kind of tries to be more coherent and you can see it's better but it's not perfect so she has brown hair she has white hair I guess the stylist coherent here and if you look further down we got some more images I thought this was very cool right uh but the style is coherent but not the persons and suddenly here we got a man I don't know what's happened here and yeah again not bad I kind of like it uh so let's I put some of these images together let's listen to 10 seconds of the story 20 maybe between loops and lumens Dr Felicity Warren fingers trembling peered into the spacecraft's monitor she was an astrophysicist on a mission to study dying Stars a mission that had now trapped her in the celestial coffin of a collapsing Sun with each repetition she relived an agonizing 5 minutes the alarms wailed like banshees piercing her already fraying nerves okay so the last thing I wanted to show you today was it's not really a recursive Improvement Lo but I thought it was very cool so what I did is I found this weird YouTube channel that has a lot of views and it creates videos all the time and it has these very dramatic stories about space and thumbnails and aliens so I just copied a lot of thumbnails and video titles here and of course we have the views too and I just asked to do some research on this so you can see based on the upload image from the YouTube channel Voyager uh yes I wanted to find Trends and create some new IDs so it's going to analyze the trends So based on the tund at titles you can see it kind of figures out what works so titles such as 3 minutes ago 1 minute ago go create a sense of urgency visually striking thumbnails space and alien life government secrets and conspiracies use of well-known personalities as Steven Hawking Elon Musk Neil degress Tyson mystery and unexplained phenomena okay that's cool and here are some components to create a viral video step by step uh okay so then I ask for five best uh performing videos and I want to new IDs from those IDs from those per best performing videos uh okay so I tried it but it wasn't so good so I added more images from like the same channel so this was the images with most views and it tried again and here he got better so I like this one and the moon's hidden Mystery top scientist reveal shocking discoveries so that's very dramatic so this is supposed to be like uh the the video we are going to make so anything related to the Moon especially when top scientists like mitu Kaku NE Tyson or mention performs well delving deeper into elol Unsolved Mysteries lesser on facts about the moon can be a winning topic okay so I just go right to YouTube video outline for video ID3 okay uh and it crates kind of a good outline here I read through it so we got introduction historical background introduction to new discoveries deep dive moons at Hidden moon bases the moon's unusual seismic activities water on the moon guest segment with a leading scientist conclusion and credits and call to action uh okay so now create an irresistible thumbnail description to the video created to get high CTR based on the based on the best performing thumbnails and for this I kind of asked for like a description and I went over I copied this description I went over to Dolly I pasted in the description here and we ended up with these thumbnails so let's have a look at them so the moon's secret okay that was not too bad and the moon's mystery I like this one uh but I think this was kind of my favorite I'm not sure maybe this one anyway let's take one of them and put up the title and see if this could be something you would click on actually when I look at it I think it was this one I wanted to use uh I created some more so I don't know maybe this one or this one anyway let's put it up and see how it looks together okay so I did actually go for this one I thought it was quite cool the moon's hidden Mystery top scientist reveal shocking and I think it's shocking discoveries yeah I think the thumbnail is fine of course we could work much more on this but just an easy concept how quick you can kind of take some inspiration for another YouTube channel kind of reverse engineer it into your own ideas uh I thought this was uh could be a good use case I might try this I have to I have to maybe try this to actually create the video create a thumbnail put it up and see how it works uh but anyway that was it for my recursive Loops uh hope this gave you some good ideas what you can do with gp4 vision combining with other stuff uh I have some other ideas that I'm going to be make an upcoming video about that is going to be much more technical uh but this I think can be a very interesting use case for the wish properties of GPT 4 uh but anyway thank you for tuning in have a great day and I'll see you in the next onetoday I thought I could show you how I have been using GPT 4 Vision to create these recursive Improvement Loops uh you can take for example as you can see in the background here I create with GPT 4 like an HTML code
