The Future of Electric Vehicles is Here

From the thrill of racing through virtual asteroid fields to the satisfaction of collecting virtual coins and power-ups, Atari mode is a must-have feature for any serious Tesla owner.

But what about the practicalities of owning an electric vehicle? How far can you go on a single charge, and how long does it take to recharge? The answer, as we soon discovered, is that there's no one-size-fits-all solution. Depending on your needs and usage patterns, you may find yourself needing to stop frequently to recharge, or perhaps you'll be able to go for hours without needing a top-up.

Delta echo Foxtrot hyper lecher car yeah drive it's the it's the Model X SUV he's got it like all done up to it's not even stock apparently like zero to 60 it's faster than my car supercharged I got snacks energy drink and food to choose all I think sounds amazing burp amante's have a really sick sounding ecosystem right from the factory from here you just do it from your cell phone using the app that's gonna shut the garage next Tuesday dude it's driving by itself there's nobody in it oh yeah just showing off I know right now we're gonna look URI right so you've got the model axis is the P 100 D yeah and it's got a kid on it it's got a full yeah full body kit it's a bumper replacement side skirts it's lowered a bunch of carbon fiber goodies you know we got to give a shout out to unplugged performance they did a great job for sure this end this thing is stupid fast oh yeah faster than the Lambos yeah well you know the big thing it's the key thing is to work quick and fast it's quicker it nothing's quicker and it doesn't correct yeah zero to sixty it's about 2.8 2.9 seconds drives itself going down the freeway all that sort of technology right that's pretty cool the autopilot features really neat now we stopped it you know be behind the wheel but really does drive itself change lanes get off exits the whole thing it gets off exits oh yeah yeah you said in your navigation pull off the exit for you turn the turn signal on slow down the whole thing so question for you uh-huh can you remotely drive me to the airport and have us return back by itself so that's what you I'm trying to say by the hopefully by the time summer of 2019 or by the end of the year as long as you know like legislation gets passed in California the technology is there to do it now but they have to pass the laws to make it work so literally give me right to the airport go ahead and go go let's go pick up Dave at the airport I'll just send the car to get him you know the car will go there by itself no by itself pick him up bring him back well this Tesla to the max the very first Tesla was this like what did they call it in the roof that fully powered right all the roof yeah solar roof Southern California customer anywhere in Southern California have this solar roof and these are the power walls each one of these store enough electricity for about three to five days to power home that's cool so the entire roof looks like a normal roof but they're multiple many of the panels are solar panels but then at all no yeah and I made a glass right but you can drop a bowling ball on him you said yes it's getting crazy the tech is in any moment now we're all going to mark right very they did fly roadster up there speaking of roadsters you are you have one on order you bought one reservation yes and when you've driven in one I gotta tell ya I got a ride in one on my I got on my youtube channel is awesome it's amazing nothing no experience like that I can't tell you you gotta watch the video about 1.8 seconds zero to sixteen that's a conservative number 1.8 seconds 1.8 seconds you guys zero to 60 dude look at this the future bro so this is the very first one and look it's just getting literally getting completed last bit of the corner there look how his whole entire roof is Wow that crazy get there I'm trying oh so that's one or these are multiple no so here you can see this is the solar producing lens and you can see the solar circuits circuitry and the height of the glass and here's a regular one and you see without that and from a few feet away you can't actually see any difference at all exactly walking so I see so you can see the difference if you're really close right exactly what I mean from up on the roof from the roof no one you're never gonna know and what's the back of the actual solar ones look like don't break the roof Dave don't break the roof Dave Dave settle down yeah that would be him this one will just show you that this is an actual solar roof PV module and then this is like this is the electrical cord where the cord comes through see this one links and then the down leaks here yeah Wow so instead of just creating power and having it go to your home you can store this power in these power walls through Tesla and it's it's really amazing technology so no generator no gasoline engine to kick on these things just automatically they come on right away immediately and the power source is is consistent and legit and you can run these things for days or even weeks with no electricity so it's it's pretty impressive I love it that's sick well we're really here for the ride cuz I know that I know that this SUV is quicker yeah then a Lamborghini even the Lamborghini Eurus SUV oh okay now we're just bragging get in these virgin white seats that's what they're called right vegans right Thanks hey on the back part okay these are the most ridiculous white seats bro I've ever seen or the seats are nice oh do I have to close a miracle is sorry and they're moving live what you see here what all right so before you're the windshield who's above largest automotive windshield in in history her car three different modes we can choose from chill sport and ludicrous but there's a hidden one called Ludacris plus if you hold this button that's an easter egg give it five seconds and watch this what are you sure you want to push the limits this will cause accelerated wear of the motor gearbox and battery no I want my mommy or yes bring it on go ahead Damon no what are we bring it on do it baby Tesla's the coolest company ever it has all carbon fiber yes sir this is all the dry carbon from the factory and the only thing I did custom was the carbon fiber steering the steering wheel is insane what have a friend that makes steering wheels and I'll tell you I know I know quality in these these are these are nice oh yeah Tesla does okay no gas no engine no transmission nothing nothing to fix nothing to break well what we call launch mode it actually has the launch mode in it it has a launch mode oh yeah we're gonna launch mode so we're gonna see now now keep in mind it takes a little bit of time to heat the batteries up so they're not fully heat up all the way right now but we're still gonna see anywhere between 800 to 900 foot-pounds of torque no zero rpm no oh yeah yeah yeah so you'll feel it you're gonna feel the thrust here okay so everybody's got their head against the headrest launch mode enabled and here we go oh it was 18 miles miles an hour versus you got up there at 18 pretty quick so what does this do 0 to 60 2.9 seconds 2.8 2.9 so the roadster is an entire second and a bit faster than what we just experienced and that's a conservative number they say conservative I can't even start to fathom what that felt like for you oh right so you have that footage we're gonna jump to that footage right now you guys so you guys can see that yes sir oh my god oh my god like that that was like a roller coaster and make sure I'll put a link in description you can go and see the rest of the videos on his channel cuz he's gonna have tons more basically Tesla videos Roadster videos he's got a roadster coming okay let's see this again alright - that is so intense oh it's over so quick 800 800 foot-pounds of torque at zero or PST rpm and gets up to about 900 at 900 they're warmed up the batteries fully warmed up yep yep that's incredible the technology is really mind-boggling when you start to like stop to comprehend what's going on it's it really is it's mind-boggling because you've got no none of the things that you see in a regular gasoline or internal combustion engine so the ice vehicles are they're really going out I mean we're always gonna love Lamborghini and the super high-end cars but I'll tell you the electric vehicles or the way the future I mean look at La Ferraris doing the hybrid you gotta do those companies we were just at the LA Auto Show out he just totally unveiled the whole intron I saw that yeah so now they've got their there fully electric cars coming in I mean this is nuts it's crazy I remember when this was all just like haha you one must guy wants to do what that's right I don't want to believe in it you know electric cars are like golf carts I mean they're not fast they can't do anything right or even or even self-driving cars that's right or that whole you know SpaceX I mean Rockets landing by themselves it's incredible I mean now technically we we want to keep our hands on the wheel for safety okay but technically there's no accelerator pedal being pushed no brake being pushed we've set our speed and the car is safely driving within the lanes dude I want this car get you to driver that you do anything can you do that you know we're gonna get there well it's absolutely on the way but again the legislation has to pass laws have to pass you know the legal soldier do it but they just can't allow it but it's software disabled but the hardware is absolutely capable of doing it no problem this is incredible like he's not even driving you guys nothing I can't even get over this so nothing nope nothing on the wheel it's just it look at it turns itself now keep in mind guys true it's not fully self driven so you want it for safety make sure that you have your hands on the wheels and never know what can happen and you want to make sure you're being safe and that's important because we don't want Tessa to get watered down by two people think and they don't have to be responsible and drive the car it has the capability of getting there but it's not there just yet so and it's also a legit disclaimer I mean the reality is is you know these are huge technical advancements but like you said there's no legal law or they haven't fully made these capable of just driving themselves for that exact reason what is the mileage on this I get this one has a 289 mile capacity and before it was as oh I need more miles than that you can't go anywhere within one hour without hitting what they call the supercharger station and I can fill about almost half of my capacity guys we're gonna show you the Atari mode there's Atari so yeah now you can go in here and shows like the arcade alright remember when things were 25 cents a good day so here you've got the choice of the games that you want to play so you can choose the original asteroids for example and then come over here once you select asteroids go to full screen and then you've got your dude he's playing with this ladies are check them in steep
