I'm excited to share with you my experience with this quadcopter that I've been testing out in my driveway. It's a very responsive drone, and as you can see, it's doing quite well.
As I was setting up, I noticed that the wind was hitting my area pretty heavily, but I wasn't too concerned about getting hit by it myself. However, I did want to make sure I was recording smoothly, so I took a few precautions to ensure everything went as planned.
I unlocked the drone and let it do its own takeoff, which worked beautifully. Then, I decided to land it and see how it would perform on the ground. And let me tell you, it's been an absolute blast flying this thing! The camera is actually quite good, although I did notice that there's a bit of vibration when I'm filming.
One thing I want to mention is that the GPS system on this drone is very accurate, and it's been picking up my location perfectly. However, I did have to adjust the drone's position slightly because there were a few trees around me that I didn't want to hit.
I've also been experimenting with different modes and features on this drone, such as the follow-me mode and return-to-home feature. The follow-me mode works well, but I found that the return-to-home feature tends to take the drone up higher than I'd like. So, I had to make some adjustments to get it working safely.
Overall, I'm extremely happy with how this quadcopter has performed so far. It's been a lot of fun to fly, and I've learned a lot from my experiences with it. Plus, it's been very durable, although I did have one mishap when I was first learning about it - the drone got stuck underneath my car!
In terms of durability, I'd say this quadcopter has held up well despite some minor scratches. However, I do want to mention that the camera doesn't have a stabilizing system, which can cause some jitter in the footage.
Despite this, I'm really impressed with this quadcopter and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a solid drone with a decent camera. The Stone brand has definitely made an impression on me, and I'd love to try out more of their products in the future.
So, that's my experience with this quadcopter so far! I've had a ton of fun flying it, and I'm excited to see what other adventures we can have together. Until next time, thanks for watching!
WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enokay guys I'm sorry if there's going to be a wind noise or anything like that I'm trying to cancel it out the best that I can but today we're going to actually I've been flying it for a while but today is going to be the day I film what it's all about so of course like anything you take your battery you slide it in the back you'll see there's push connectors right there so you just line that up push it in as your power button is on the back of the quadcopter battery press and hold all four lights you hear the beep one thing once you get the quadcopter down you want to start the app and connect it via Wi-Fi and it is important because without that I'll show you a couple things so let's get the app up and running okay so we're going to log this on to this now so we go into our settings I don't know if the phone or the machines getting this connections okay and I'm gonna go and turn my Wi-Fi back on and now we're going to see the holy Stone again not sure you're getting or seeing that but holy Stone fpv blah blah blah we're going to connect to it it's going to tell me I'm not going to have internet and that's perfectly fine so there we go now we go back to the app yep see here we are connect it's hard outside always connect okay now we have this here ready to go so let us go into enter device all right connect aircraft yes I know blah blah blah so as you can see we are now connected um I'm not sure like again how clear that's going to be for you guys but now there's two things here so I'm just going to lay this down and talk about controller okay so without this button here it will not start up so you need a minimum of seven GPS lock-ons this one right now has eight uh that will go up I usually get about 16 15 to 16 here uh geometric calibration that's needed here so this is important and this is the thing I was going to show you I was going to do a flight without it and with it but literally it's telling me I cannot do that so what we're going to do is I'm gonna go to over there now and I'm going to calibrate this and this will go green it'll go from yellow to Green the reason why I'm saying that now is because you won't be able to see what I'm doing you'll see how I'm calibrating it okay we literally pick up the helicopter do this three times okay then we take the helicopter and we point the camera facing down and do it three times that's why it wouldn't spin up the blades now what that does it calibrates the gyro and everything in here and then the GPS takes care of everything else without that you won't have a locking flight hold now you can see it's green okay so now when I hit this it unlocks so now I'm going to go over here not sure I'm liking my calibration that's not too bad it's really windy right now and it's trying its best to do a cold and my calibration I don't think was very it's not bad it's clearly it's staying in one spot and I mean we're easy today all right so now I'm going to record because that's something you guys are going to want to know foreign we are now recording video from the camera and if you I don't know if the camera will see this but I can actually angle the camera down angle it up right from this roller control right here um this side doesn't do anything this is for a different model as the controller stays the same as you can see I'm not doing anything it's fighting the wind on its own and now it seems to be very stabilized now when I say that see this it is very stable which makes it a really nice flyer now I'm not going to do a whole lot out here because I played I've already like I said I've flown this for quite a while now I just wanted to show you guys like I'm only in a safe mode and into safe mode uh well I should say safe mode I'm in level two or one or whatever it is the slower mode one I don't want to hit my car two I don't want to hit or have any weird things happen and hit somebody else's proper because I'm filming here in my driveway so as you can see very responsive it is a little bit slower on the down but that's normal because you're coming down whereas your Motors definitely are going to have much more path going up durability and everything's been really really solid although I can only say that during the first initial like there's some wind hitting here I don't know if you're getting the trees but you can see that the wind is heavy and look at it fight it I'm not even worried about getting hit by it I should be but I'm not um anyway you do have returned home and you do have um takeoff so what I'm going to do I'm going to land it I'm gonna come over here yeah you should be seeing the wind from the trees okay so what I'm going to do here now you'll see I unlock and then I'm just going to let it do its own takeoff okay and now we're going to land it then it's having a little bit of fun wanting to land this time so when you land and if it's doing that you just hold the bottom down as best you can and if you don't want to be scraping any props just kind of correct it a little while it's on the ground and it will shut off as you can see here GPS is telling me where it is um I'm picking a little I don't know why but overall this quadcopter has made me extremely happy and proud because at this point I finally got a quadcopter that actually works that is under 300 Canadian so about let's say 200 or less American and the camera is actually good I'll show you that I think I'm still recording I absolutely am so that's pretty cool um I don't know what mode the camera that it's in because today is so sunny I can't even see my phone proper which is actually really annoying but we'll give her one more I'm gonna take off on my own um I will say that uh follow me all that works uh return to home works fine I got 12 dps's locked on now which means I don't have to really worry about it but I'm not going to hit return to home because return to home it tends to go up a little higher and a little higher uh and I got too many trees around here and I don't want to just so I can't return to home and you know what I mean so I want to be safe about that again I'm in a residential area people don't like these as it is uh flight time is around 25 minutes even with the camera running and and everything going neat there so uh what's this so as you can see again guys like I said very stable do not try to go like this I'm just showing you and you should not do this any other time but that is very solid so guys if there's any questions about this quadcopter that you want answered let me know in the comments like I said I have flown it quite a bit uh durability like I was saying it's very durable I've had one mishap when I was first learning everything about it and it went underneath my car other than that though they got a little bit scratched so I mean nothing nothing to write home about but look at this that's a lot of air pressure coming down here and staying that stable that part makes it very impressive all along itself that you enjoy the hobby Stone which again I did not know was a brand name till recently and I gotta say that I want to pick up some more of these and test out different models because they are definitely a solid quadcopter with a decent camera I will not say that the camera is going to be as smooth as you would like on this model because it doesn't have it has a vibration mode like a a rubberized grommet but it doesn't have a uh stabilizing system so you're going to have a bit of Jitter in in this camera other than that though amazing camera amazing quadcopter and a ton of fun so guys till next time I got some more playing to do game over guysokay guys I'm sorry if there's going to be a wind noise or anything like that I'm trying to cancel it out
