Testing and Feedback
This is a test. This is only a test. Do not rotate your phone please select the square in the bottom right hand corner of this video to see the full potential of this video. Let's get started.
Welcome to Tech with Bread, where I help tech work for you. In today's video, I'm going to show you how to use the new vertical video feature in YouTube. Currently, all YouTube videos are only supported to be in the 16:9 format, which is the widescreen format. When you're watching any other video, you turn and rotate your screen in the landscape format, and you'll see the video display in the full frame.
However, now that YouTube has updated their application, when you are watching a vertical video, it will look different. I do not in no way ask you to record videos like this when you're recording videos make sure you're recording them in the landscape option. But for this experiment, I wanted to try out a vertical video to see what you guys think.
The new feature allows you to watch vertical videos without any additional formatting or adjustments. When you have a vertical video and you turn it this way, you'll see two big black bars on the side. All you need to do is rotate it back into the portrait mode, and now in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, let's see it should be over there or yeah over there you'll see a little tiny black square if you select that, it should expand this video to fill your whole screen.
So, this should be the top of your screen, this should be the left and right side, and then heat down here we have the bottom of your screen. You have the full video. I really want to know if this is going to help you see the videos I make on the phone if I'm just displaying the phone in the portrait format. I'm not using the landscape very much so let me know if this kind of format works for you.
If you would like to see more or less lists, let's jump into my phone and check out what I'm talking about. So, you can see it full screen on your phone. Because most of the videos now are being watched on mobile devices, not so much on the computer or the TV. And if this is on the TV, it should just be a big video probably normal-sized from what you would see.
You just have some black bars over here on the side. Thank you so much for joining me today on this test. If you like the way that this was formatted and you think it will be nice to have some of the videos done this way, please hit that like button as well as leave a comment below. So I know you're really serious.
