Pair Your Google Home Mini to a Bluetooth Speaker

**Setting Up Google Home Mini with Bluetooth Speaker**

To set up your Google Home Mini with a Bluetooth speaker, you first need to choose a default music speaker. This is usually done through the Google Home app, where you can select from a list of available speakers or devices. Once you've chosen your default music speaker, you'll be prompted to pair it with your Google Home Mini.

To pair your Bluetooth speaker with your Google Home Mini, you need to enable pairing mode on your speaker. This is usually done by holding the Bluetooth icon on your speaker until it flashes. Next, in the Google Home app, go to the "Default music speaker" section and select "Pair Bluetooth speaker". Follow the prompts to connect your speaker to your Google Home Mini.

For example, let's say you want to pair your HK Onix speaker with your Google Home Mini. You would select the HK Onix from the list of available Bluetooth speakers, and then enable pairing mode on your speaker by holding down the Bluetooth icon until it flashes. Once this is done, your Google Home Mini will detect the speaker and prompt you to confirm the connection.

**Using Google Home Mini with Bluetooth Speaker**

Once paired, your Google Home Mini will be able to play music through your Bluetooth speaker. You can use voice commands to control playback, such as "Play some music" or "Pause the music". You can also adjust the volume using the speaker's controls or by using the Google Home app.

For example, let's say you're watching a video on YouTube and want to play some music in the background. You can ask your Google Home Mini to play some music, such as "Play 'Man of Constant Sorrow' by The Soggy Bottom Boys". Your Google Home Mini will then start playing the song through your Bluetooth speaker.

**Using Multiple Speakers with Google Home**

One of the convenient features of using a Bluetooth speaker with Google Home is that you can create groups of speakers to play music together. To do this, go to the "Devices" tab in the Google Home app and select the speaker you want to add to the group. Then, select "Create group" and choose the other device(s) you want to include in the group.

For example, let's say you have a Google Home Mini paired with your HK Onix speaker, as well as another Google Home Mini paired with a different Bluetooth speaker. You can create a group called "Office Group" that includes both speakers, and then ask your Google Home Mini to play music through the Office Group.

To create an office group, go to the "Devices" tab and select the two speakers you want to include in the group. Then, select "Create group" and name the group. You can also enable voice control for the group by selecting "Enable by voice" under the group settings.

**Unpairing Bluetooth Device**

If you no longer want to use your Bluetooth device with your Google Home Mini, you can unpair it by asking your Google Home Mini to do so. To do this, go to the "Devices" tab and select the Bluetooth device you want to unpair. Then, select "Unpair" or ask your Google Home Mini to "Unpair Bluetooth devices".

Note that when you unpair a Bluetooth device, any music currently playing through it will stop, and the device will be disconnected from your Google Home Mini.

**Connecting Other Devices**

In addition to Bluetooth speakers, you can also connect other devices to your Google Home Mini using the Google Home app. For example, if you want to pair your mobile phone with your Google Home Mini speaker, you can do so by following the prompts in the app.

By connecting multiple devices to your Google Home Mini, you can create a seamless audio experience throughout your home. Whether you're listening to music or podcasts, you can use voice commands to control playback and adjust volume using various devices connected to your Google Home Mini.

**Additional Tips and Features**

One other feature of using a Bluetooth speaker with Google Home is that you can use the same voice commands across multiple speakers. For example, if you ask your Google Home Mini to "Play some music", it will play music through both your Bluetooth speaker and any additional speakers connected to your Google Home.

Another tip is to make sure that your Bluetooth device is enabled and in range of your Google Home Mini for optimal performance. Additionally, if you have multiple speakers connected to your Google Home Mini, you can adjust the volume on each speaker independently using their respective controls or by using the Google Home app.

By following these tips and features, you can get the most out of using a Bluetooth speaker with your Google Home Mini.
