another box okay so this little box was in that big box oh stop freaking out camera okay so let's see what comes next we've got a little bit of tape right here hope I'm not cutting anything it's always a dread okay then finally this came from Best Buy because they were totally sold out on Apple's website I totally missed the memo I was waiting for these to be released so that I could snatch one to look at so this is the space gray one you know just the base model and if anyone else is watching I'm sorry that you weren't able to join or I don't know if I'm going to have to make an instructional video showing how to do this how to join I myself I just went straight to Hangouts and it's was that right well so now that the plastic is off and my camera is not liking the exposure we're going to it off very carefully without dropping the thing on the floor there there we have it so oops okay well you know you've got some do hickeys in the Box we've got USBC cable and uh the charging brick thingy some documentations it's a very very much Al live unboxing wow okay so this is super super super light what's it feel like it feels like something very expensive that I mean that that's that's the best thing I can say so here is the Transformer book Chi T300 in comparison oh it's in the way so there you go you can see how big this is in comparison to little me but this is much heavier much much heavier this uh is I think it's it's over three pounds three pound little over three pounds and then this one is uh 2.03 pounds I believe then uh it's razor thin ouch and sharp actually that's the first thing I noticed is it's kind of scratchy because it's nice and uh mil here but I can't believe this is 1500 bucks it looks beautiful it does but not that beautiful see it's actually 400 the other 100 the other 1100 is apple right 1100 is the Apple icon you have there yes just for the icon so fun paper and then the keyboard is covering the entire thing I'm sure you oh look you can see the background there on my computer and such but uh I'm excited to try out this keyboard I've been hearing things about this so let's go ahead and turn it on see see can got a charge on this thing where is the the how do you turn it on I've never asked that question I've seen a lot try clapping two times I command how does this work it's got a designated key on the keyboard oh my gosh so now the Mac that I have right now this MacBook Pro doesn't even have an HD display and it's certainly not IPS so I'm excited see so I'm going to do some editing on this thing of course I need to purchase one of these uh adapters for this USBC ridiculous Port thing hey Erica should we leave you alone so you can have a moment with that thing oh it starts talking at me I like sharing this experience with you all oops sorry for the exposure so English you don't don't see any light bleeding it looks like the gray is uniform already that's nice United States tell me welcome and it says uh United States and it's it won't let me click United States why not wow just don't use your fingerprint as a passport voiceover if you know how to use voiceover press command F5 Now to turn it on and click downward but it does feel like it oh and it's asking me for the internet password Comcast put some crazy long Unholy thing on here so I guess I'll do that later I'm gonna try something real mean because there's there's no there's feedback it's strange it's it's kind of a weird uncanny feeling because there's a feedback on this thing but you're seeing that it's not actually pressing down so it's creeping me out a little bit like whoa yeah that that works well I I I like it I like it not for $1,500 but but I like it oh goodness gracious so uh maybe I can put my apartment and pretty close to the leasing office I can try to use their password continue what did I do you sure you don't want to set up Wi-Fi and I'm saying go back and it won't let me I'm having some technical difficulties I'm sorry this isn't going so smoothly but basically it says go back and I'm trying to go back to click on one of these wi-fi options and it won't let me it say apple or apple apple what and did you buy it on eBay exactly it on it it might be a very good knockoff that I paid Best Buy for for $1,500 yeah um I I don't understand what what's going on here I hear people were complaining about the evenness of the back Lighting on the keys mine looks really nice um I don't see any issues with the backlight LEDs being on even so if anyone wants to know that I'm probably make this video live so you can see it yourself but I would really love for someone to tell me how to get this thing to go back am I just can you just scroll down without having to mess with that no oh man okay I'm password what if I don't want a password if it would be Google they already would know your name they could and then optional a hint none okay creating account finally something happening send Diagnostics no no thank you continue so setting up y we getting some so this is very light I intend to carry this around everywhere for the next several days of and on I'll probably switch between these two see which I like better now I've got a uh scratch disc and unfortunately it's you know been formatted for Mac so I haven't been able to use it to try editing on this one and I did not want to reformat the thing so I guess I'll get to try to see how it will accept my scratch disc on this once I get an adapter so oo pretty that is very very high resolution you can't tell of course and this camera is not happy with the exposure um how big is the screen the screen I believe is 12 inches I think it's a 12 inch display a nice nice F here and how do I turn up the brightness and it gets nice and nice and bright I would have to let it adjust to the exposure yeah so I mean I like it if it was $500 right but uh this one here is I believe $6.99 this is a base model there's two different versions this one's not even um I think it's 998 megahertz so it's not very fast at all another version that goes up to 1.2 gigahertz 1.1 gigahertz so we'll see the difference in performance but otherwise the GPU should be the same hopefully the frequency will be about the same as well so that's that it feels like a toy and it's very very light and very shiny I shall my goodness that thing is very thin yes it's h I shall call it Mr shiny crazy that bend test can you bend it you know I mean the pretty much there's little palm siiz uh chip on here motherboard in there and then the rest of it just a battery and uh a 480p webcam something that thin when do you think the battery would heat up quite fast actually I don't I don't know what to expect we'll see but uh there you go it's all set up and it feels nice that track pad works very well so I'll be having some further thoughts on this when I have a chance to play with it more but I'm happy to see that at least my backl keys don't look like they're defective because I've been hearing a lot about that so finally something not effective seriously then that's crazy what happens if I like it I think people are either going to unsubscribe and be very angry at me because you like it yeah that's pretty stupid for for yeah someone said if you like that thing over the Asus the the CH T300 I am going to unsubscribe and never you ever again like well oh my gosh that's okay um I'm like well how biased are you if I had a substantial reason to like it who are you to tell me what I can and cannot like I still listen to you after you you know the Samsung Galaxy S4 active and you basically destroyed destroyed it and I'm still listening to you so that's not a problem thank you I I appre appreciate that I I had I had my reasons so yep um in comparison I mean this one feels much much more high quality and the speakers on the T300 G are just atrocious I've been hooking it up to my Bluetooth uh speakers in my kitchen to listen to lost as I'm making noodles or something because the speakers are just that bad so I've been hearing phenomenal things about the speakers on this one the MacBook Air so I will test that out so I think it's a nice little product how long do you have it for I mean did you straight up buy it or H how long do you have it for uh probably 45 days because I'm part of the Platinum or silver membership with Best Buy or something because I buy stuff from them all the time so I think I've got over 30 days to decide I'm just afraid that if I like it I'm not going to be able to justify $1,500 when I can go and grab new Macbook that's it's a very emotional purchase and um I'm sure I'm gonna get a lot of hatred if I say anything nice about it but I don't care it's about being honest I don't like it that's not my problem yeah it's not that's my at all actually\n"
