The Art of Building a Home Theater: A Room Tour Project Episode 71
In this episode of our Room Tour Project, we're going to take a look at a unique and impressive home theater setup. Our host has managed to create a cozy space that's perfect for gaming, watching movies, or simply relaxing with friends and family.
The monitor mounts the headphone stand, custom GPU back plates, and the reservoir mounts in a tidy and organized manner. It's clear that our host takes pride in their setup, as every detail is meticulously placed. The killer job on this really nice to see you stuff like this every now and then good stuff I'm loving this.
The next think tank is hitting us with a triple monitor setup here in a nice chill lounge with some LED strips adding some pop to a white and black theme on to the main desk setup. This is being run off of this 2013 21.5 inch iMac in the middle with two Lenovo monitors on each side, and for that section of the room being pretty cramped overall, he managed to do a really good job of getting that set up in order here.
The desk is kept nicely and of course the popular addition of adding some stormtrooper and Vader pop figures taking a look into the peripherals. He has about just tech K 750 solar panel powered wireless keyboard an Apple Magic Mouse as well as the Razor Mamba Chroma Mouse on the Razor Firefly mouse pad for audio behind the monitors as the Edifier X 600 speaker system, and for his headphones through at the v-moda m100 crossfades in black and chrome plus the Bose quiet comfort 25 cans. It's a techie headphone stand but over to the entertainment setup I like how that 40 inch Samsung TV is nicely mounted with a great job of cable management there at the LED strip behind it as well so mounted speakers you can just kick back on the sofa watch some TV console game and it all looks great again.
It's a very clean setup overall and that white and black theme is nicely executed. Now it's time for something a little bit different and that's okay that's good this is a living room desk setup with a 40 inch 4k TV definitely haven't had anything like this on the show before but I wanted to include it because overall I think it's pretty damn nice.
The desk itself has a nice cherry walnut looking finish to it and it is very clean and organized. At TV by the way is from Samsung, very long bottle number so again to check the description down below for the exact one but it's a 40 inch 4k display and you know what like sitting around two to three feet away from it I think that size in the resolution is a sweet spot the pixel density at that distance is probably perfect and gaming would be sick. You can kind of see his peripherals kept underneath the pull-out shelf there underneath the keyboard is a Ducky Shine with the My Onix Nioh 7000 Mouse on a Steel Series Dex mousepad, and a glorious PC Gaming Raced Wrist Pad for audio he has the JBL LSR 305 studio monitors on a custom made speakers fan and as far as headphones the Holy Grail you Sennheiser HD hundreds again on the Whoa Audio headphone stand for a very sexy looking display.
The audio is powered by the GD and FB 28 headphone amp and DAC, will be powering those cans now. As PC is kept actually behind the desk first I have to say the cable management here is just amazing. The speaker cables are nicely routed down the TV and mount have the cables rather neatly as well all around just a really really great organized job and I guess that's because you know it's in the middle of the living room so you'd want the nicest the most clean appearance possible so I appreciate that you care.
It took the time to perfect it. Now back to that PC inside the SLOVERS own ft zero two cases an i-5 46 70k cpu on an MSI H 170 gaming M3 motherboard 16 gigs of Red G-Skill tried and ex ram msi 1070 graphics card altogether completing a pretty nice red and black build and just a shame that it's you know out of sight behind the desk when it's all said and done this setup is really unique for sure but I definitely like it it's just so clean and honestly that's what takes us to the next level.
The great cable management, the desktop isn't cluttered at all, and for maximum comfort you even have the Herman Miller Aeron chair as you should. I'm really liking your new take versus a traditional desk setup. Alright guys that'll do it for episode 71 a room tour project hope you enjoyed if you did definitely give this video a big thumbs up to show your support and as always don't forget I'll put all the links you see to the products in this video in the description down below as well as some very simple instructions that have you're set up.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys I'm random Frank P back in episode 71 of room tour project the series we show off the best gaming setups as always each week we have some killer ones show off for you guys I'll put all the products you see listed in the description down below so you can check all the cool keyboards and mice all that good stuff out but sit back and enjoy we'll start off episode 71 first is a nice galactic looking stacked monitor setup and these are obviously a personal favorite of mine due to my last setup before I moved at first glance I really liked the organized desk in that black starry night theme his main monitor there is the asus rog swift PG 34 8 q not only is it curved but that 3440 by 1440 p display with a 100 hertz g-sync refresh rate is killer for gaming as for the overhead monitor he's got the BenQ XL 2420 t and to get that stacked orientation he's using the vivo dual monitor mouse as for his peripherals - got the ducky shine 310 kilos keyboard with cherry brown switches his mouse into my onyx AVR 8200 with the SteelSeries for HD gaming pad now for audio I can definitely appreciate his choices here he has both the AKG K 7 xx headphones and the Audio Technica ad700x both are great for the money and that goes with the ELAC debut b5 bookshelf speakers plus got a little Darth Vader figure there in the Batman figure on top audio done right and then for a peek at the PC and very fittingly the case the Corsair obsidian 750d that nice brush aluminum front panel looks very sleek and selfie definitely fits in with the setup inside that as an i7 4770k cpu with the coarser h100 eye liquid cooler on the Asus maximum of 6 extreme motherboard 16 gigs of Corsair Vengeance Ram around 500 gigs of Samsung 840 pro SSDs and I gotta say I'm loving the growing popularity of SSDs and build lately especially since they're so cheap now and then they gigabyte NAB g1 graphics card definitely a beastly build here it stays true to a black and red color theme inside and then look underneath the desk a nice DIY cable management job the use of duct tape Hey whatever gets the job done all the cables are kept nicely up and nothing is drooping down altogether a very nice gaming setup with some killer products love the audio setup and your monitors or on points plus having the galaxy wall prints match your actual desktop wallpaper makes it all come together nicely next up check this out wow I could go on all day about this but this is a very sexy and clean silver setup that looks straight out of a dream kind of reminds me of Dimitri's hardware Kanak set up his desks are two of the IKEA linens with the main desk having a nice glossy white finish that looks great as it adds some nice reflections from the windows and LEDs for as monitors that main display is a bell 34 15 w ultra wide in that vertical one to the left is a bell u 25 15 H these displays are crisp with an ultra sharp quad HD resolution and happy 99% s RGB rating for color moving on down to the peripherals he has the poker 3 keyboard with MX clear switches and a Zowie FK 2 Mouse which is one of the top rated FPS mice on the market so I'm digging that combo for sure and then they're both on a unique looking wolf fell to desk pad this thing is something that I would probably want to try out but it fits your theme very nicely now if you take a closer look at that keyboard it is just a great choice going with the granite key cap set on that even got the custom sleeve cable to take the keyboards appearance to the next level I'm definitely a fan and I can tell you appreciate the Hobby now let's talk audio and like I said before straight out of a dream here this guy knows what's up from left to right he has the Odyssey LCD 3 headphones the Odyssey LCD X and the sennheiser HD 800 my god I love the stands as well with the wooden veneer on the LCD 3 it matches the wooden stand perfectly and the other two are on a silverstone EBA o1 they're all powered by the ship's back which you seen underneath his monitors that's everyone's favorite product name but damn this is crazy some of the best choices for peripherals all around I think I've ever seen and of course you know the PC is gonna fit it with everything as well this is the N case m1 v3 and silver very sleek and simple looking with that aluminum casing inside is an i7 4790k cpu the Noctua NHD 9l coolers not only is it keeping temps down but it's crazy quiet that's on an EVGA stinger z97 motherboard 16 gigs of course our Dominator platinum Ram an EVGA 1070 founder's card which of course the build of that is going to visually fit in and match everything honestly I love this setup in the day time it's just so refreshing and clean even that little plant there it's a nice touch but at night the under glow on the PC shines the blue light strip behind the monitor looks sick and it reflects nicely off of a the shades and the curtains and then the warm light bulb in the lamp all mixed together for a very nice and smooth and aesthetically pleasing glow it's an awesome job again well my favorite setups of the year 10 out of 10 IGN would love this setup again marry me JK but I love you now Jeffrey is no stranger to the show I've showed off his awesome custom mod a desk PC a while back and he's here again with some changes and improvements for the end of 2016 and this is still completely badass for all being completely custom made his monitor is the LG 34 um 95 P of course an ultra-wide is the right way to go here with a desk like that and on his desk for peripherals he has Logitech g7 10 plus keyboard that has custom painted to fit in a Logitech MX master mouse on an extended mm 200 mousepad from Corsair then hanging down on the left side is his headset the HyperX cloud sticking to the red and black theme for those speakers there the Ezio in-ear o 5 Xtreme active studio monitors mounted nicely on the sides of the desk but now let's get into the goods that custom desk PC for some reason with the black desk here the red accents with the cables and a liquid cooling it all gives it a very Star Wars Death Star feel to me whether that was the goal or not I don't know and I'm seeing other Star Wars stuff around either way looks insanely cool inside the desk is actually two custom builds before the gaming side is an i7 4770k CPU and an asrock z97 ex killer fatality motherboard 32 gigs of corsair dominator platinum ram into msi gtx 1080s Gasson SSD is plus a samsung 950 pro m2s the witch she has Windows 10 on so you can only imagine how quick and snappy this machine is the other side of his pc build is actually a server not going to go over those components but still just really cool to see it all come together nicely in this awesome build then when you lift up the top of the desk its access to the internals and even some room there for storage I probably keep like my wallet there and stuff got a spare keyboard just really nifty but most of the water cooling components are from alpha cool and ek but has a ton of custom made parts by himself like the speakers fans the desk itself the monitor mounts the headphone stand the custom GPU back plates and the reservoir mounts there's a killer job on this really nice to see you stuff like this every now and then good stuff I'm loving this McDonald's next think tank is hitting us with
