Welcome to Germany and Welcome to the Euro Speedway

As I step onto the track, I am filled with excitement and a sense of adventure. I've never been to Germany before, and the Euro Speedway is a place that I know nothing about. But, thanks to Mercedes-Benz, I'm here today to drive their new AMG GT Black Series. The car looks absolutely incredible, and I can't wait to get my hands on it and experience all its features.

As I walk towards the car, I take in the sight of the other Black Series models on display. The Hammer, 300e, SLS Black Series, C63 AMG Black Series, SL65 AMG, CRK63 AMG, and SLC 55 AMG Black Series are all here, each one a legend in its own right. I have to admit, it's hard not to want to take all of these cars home with me. But, for now, I'm excited to get behind the wheel of my own AMG GT Black Series.

The front splitter is a feature that I notice right away. It's massive and has quad exhaust pipes, giving off an intimidating presence. The rear diffuser is also quite impressive, adding to the overall sense of performance and handling that this car is known for. As I take a closer look at the car, I notice that it has active arrow technology on top of the double wing design, which gives more downforce during hard acceleration and reduces it during braking.

I decide to manually adjust the front splitter, and I'm surprised by how much of an impact this makes. The bars can be pulled forward or backward, depending on my preference, giving me a sense of control over the car's performance. As I push the car towards the track, I notice that the active arrow technology really comes into play. It adjusts the wing's angle to optimize downforce and top speed.

Now, as I prepare to drive on the track, I reflect on what I'm expecting from this experience. The Black Series is known for its ease of use, but I want something a bit more aggressive. Something that will push me to my limits and make me feel like I'm driving a proper high-performance car. As I put the pedal to the metal, I realize that the AMG GT Black Series does deliver on performance handling and feedback, but perhaps it's lost a bit of its edge in doing so.

I ponder this as I continue to drive around the track, feeling the rush of adrenaline as I push the car to its limits. The AMG GT Black Series is indeed an incredible machine, but I'm left wondering if it's become too serious, too refined for my taste. I think back to the older Black Series models and how they were more hardcore, more pure, and raw. While the new model does deliver on performance and handling, it lacks a bit of that wild, untamed spirit that I crave.

If not for the AMG GT Black Series, there are other options out there that might deliver a similar experience at a lower price point. But, I'm willing to take the risk and enjoy myself, because that's what driving is all about.

date so i'm here like kind of by myself but obviously with you as well we went for dinner last night we went for dinner and there's a load of other german people and they're doing all the briefings in german and i'm like yeah yeah yeah first opinion on the car quiet yeah aren't all new cars wait for it yeah i mean i can keep talking you can't you can't that's the first time listen the thing is we can't be too horrible about this because this is just the world no we're living right it's not the brand not the car the car will still be great but it is disappointing given the fact that the previous five black singers wanted out there that all sounds it's it's almost at the point where the tire noise is overtaking the sound of i mean it's really disappointing and on that bombshell quiet is the word they look amazing but it's just interesting when you see how aggressive the car looks and then you know doesn't have that original amg mayhem sound okay it's only one slot yeah right now from france yeah can you follow the guy i think reminder we'll start this first match so yes please okay really don't know this track it's so terrible driving a track in a really fast car that you don't know luckily following a professional makes my life a little bit easier anyway slowly opening up this 730 ps 800 newton meters of torque this is a top monster the sound from in here is quite crazy i don't know if it's sound being pumped in through speakers it sounds like it here we go 200 to 10 to 22 32 40. holy yep oh there comes that fizz okay now i'm having fun oh flat down the back end is just dancing also at the same time trying to keep my breakfast down under this hard braking i'm regretting eating that scrambled egg this morning this car definitely in its home territory here on the race track big wide corner pick up the speed exiting flat down 220 to 30 feedback brilliant grip so far madness redlining at 7 000 rpm actually we've been driving so fast in our group that we've now caught up the second group so we're actually a lot faster than the other group looking good sam thank you bro i'm just i have to check what i look like before i drive because that's all that really matters he looks good in his condoms yeah literally have to wear condoms yeah yeah we've got to try our breast bro i want to show you guys quickly this is the front splitter from the car as you can see there's a lot going on for a front splitter you can manually adjust this so underneath it's got two clips you can open them up and then you can pull the front splitter forward for the race track where you can put the bars going up into the car as well so you really can set the car up for the racetrack very aggressively with the arrow talking about arrow of the car we've got here this double wing as you can see this bottom wing looks similar to the normal amg gt normal um amg ttr and then basically they've just gone you know what this needs this needs another wing on top and they just quite literally looks like put another wing on top of the other wing so it's a double wing that also has active arrow as you can see here got some active arrow the middle part of the top wing comes up quite a bit here what it does automatically it will come up uh during hard acceleration to give the car more down force and it will stay up until 250 kilometers an hour and then at 250 kilometers an hour it will actually go back down to give you the area that you need to hit the top speed which is actually less downforce on the back and then of course on the hard braking from the top speed it will come back up air ducts as you can see they go inside massive absolutely huge the splitter splitter game strong on this car as i was telling you guys before so when you can manually adjust the front splitter out then you can attach these obviously we've got it now set like that because the cars are on the track hence having the front splitter in track mode and then afterwards you can undo them and push it back in because i think well i'm not sure but this extra bit might not work too well driving around in the city for example one of those cars i think you're either gonna love or hate i am loving it i'm just loving the madness of it and that's exactly what it is it is mad and this wing is going to attract a lot of attention on the road got quad exhaust pipes also looking have good feedback it's like wow they've made an incredible machine but as a black series we're both left with uh for me it's more that it's become a tad too serious yeah and what i said before and i think what you said in your video too easy to drive i mean really easy flat turning which is cool but like yeah you kind of want your black series to be a little bit crazy yeah or you want to feel scared yeah at some point i want it to be like an f12 tdf it's going to kill me it's everything to be like a ferrari right yeah that's my own problem but anyway i think we're both left thinking about i personally would really consider an older black series that was just more hardcore more pure i mean you could take the c63 out there for less than half the price i think would give maybe just as many smiles yeah no no i'm with you i think i think if not it's got more character fine you're not going to lack the nurburgring sure it wasn't my goal anyway you're not going to spend as much money and you're going to enjoy yourself and all these different elements so yeah it's a big question mark it's brilliant but it's maybe gone in the wrong direction for black series oh we're going to get so
