Apple Watch Series 4 Unboxing & Setup (44mm Model)

The New Apple Watch Series 4: First Unboxing and First Look

The new Apple Watch series 4 has arrived, and I had the opportunity to get my hands on it before its official release. The watch is expected to be a significant upgrade over its predecessor, with several new features and improvements.

As I took out the box and pulled out the watch, I was excited to see what was inside. The packaging was sleek and modern, with a large window that showed off the watch's features. The watch itself was larger than I expected, with a 44mm case size. This is significantly bigger than my previous Apple Watch series 3, which had a 42mm case.

The back of the watch has undergone a significant change, with a new design and materials used. The old optical heart rate sensor has been replaced by an improved one that can also detect ECG signals. This is a major upgrade, as it allows for more accurate health monitoring and notifications in emergency situations. I was impressed to see that Apple had made some changes to the back of the watch, including a new logo and design elements.

To power on the watch, you simply press the button, and then bring your iPhone into range. You need to make sure that your iPhone is already paired with the watch, or you can use the watch app to set it up. I was relieved to see that the watch comes pre-paired with my old 42mm Apple Watch, thanks to a recent backup.

As I started setting up the new watch, I noticed that the process was a bit slower than usual. This took around 10 minutes to complete, but it was worth the wait to get started with this new device. Once the setup was complete, I enabled some of the watch's features, including low heart rate and high heart rate notifications.

One of the notable features of the new Apple Watch series 4 is its improved display. The edges of the screen are now more prominent, making it easier to read the watch face and see important information at a glance. This was a welcome change for me, as some of the fonts on my old watch could get small and difficult to read.

Another feature that I noticed was the new watch faces available for this series 4. Apple has released several new watch faces, including one that shows how much greener your state is compared to the last one. I also installed a timer face that allows me to set multiple timers with different settings.

The watch also comes with a battery life that lasts around 1-2 days on a single charge. This is an improvement over my old watch, which typically lasted around 1 day and 6 hours. However, this may vary depending on usage and other factors.

Finally, the new Apple Watch series 4 has some notable improvements in terms of audio quality. The digital crown now provides haptic feedback when you move it, making it easier to navigate through menus and settings. Additionally, the speaker is louder than before, which will be essential for taking calls with this watch.

Overall, I'm excited to use the new Apple Watch series 4 for an extended period of time to see how it performs in real-world scenarios. In my next video, I'll be sharing my experience with this watch after using it for a week or so.
