The Day After a Productive Week
It's been pretty good life-wise for Rob, who recently ordered extra stickers to make more. He mentions that he didn't want the sticker order for his warehouse because it was of high quality. This shows that Rob values quality and is particular about the products he receives.
On a different note, Rob recently placed his first Uber Eats order ever, which filled him with excitement. He has been waiting for Uber Eats to come to their area for a long time, making them thrilled when it finally arrived. The excitement was palpable as Rob couldn't contain his enthusiasm about trying this new service.
The Warehouse and Its Surroundings
Rob's house is new construction, but surprisingly, it doesn't exist on people's maps, making navigation quite challenging. This led to Rob feeling frustrated while waiting for his Uber Eats food, which seemed to be driving in circles around their location. Eventually, the driver arrived, and Rob was relieved.
Later that evening, Rob received a call from Taylor, inviting him to go drifting with Marco. Rob had worked hard during the day and felt he deserved some relaxation time. He was excited about the prospect of finally drifting with Taylor using his newly running car.
The Drifting Party
Rob's excitement was short-lived as TJ arrived in his car, which had a hard top. This allowed him to ride comfortably despite the unpredictable weather conditions. Marco, on the other hand, was seen driving a car with a whale spout and joked about it being "rack off." The conversation turned to spacers, and Rob expressed his dislike for them. However, he noted that Diablo didn't share the same sentiment.
Diablo made a comment about Rob's car being cool, which Rob took as an insult. However, when they met some new people, Rob joked about leaving if they didn't like their drifting performance. The group decided to continue with the plan and watch the others, making for an entertaining evening.
The Unpredictable Evening
As the night wore on, things started to get interesting. Adam drove his car, which had a blown tire, but managed to keep it from rolling away. He even got to drive Taylor's car, who was driving with bad vision due to his face being covered in a cast. This led to some comedic moments as Adam struggled to navigate.
After the drifting session, Rob offered to film Adam while he drove, which made for an amusing sight. The evening ended with everyone heading out, and Rob mentioning that he had to fix his motor, which always seemed to break down. Despite the car troubles, the group had a great time, and it was clear that they were all having fun together.
The Morning After
As the night drew to a close, Rob reflected on the events of the evening, joking about how he wouldn't be able to film in his sleep due to exhaustion. However, before signing off, he expressed his gratitude to the people who had participated in the drifting session and invited them to continue filming in the future. With that, the group parted ways, each looking forward to their next adventure together.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enit is a Monday morning I had to wake up bright and early because I have these guys filming like an interview Style video for me you guys are probably never see it so I don't even know why I'm bother telling you but they need me to pretend like I'm making a video so I think I'm going to ride the ramp and pull out the Crazy Cards that's all I ever do in life I'm so lazy that I still haven't gotten a new tire and I have this bulge sticking out I did the cardboard fix where you put a piece of cardboard behind the tire so it doesn't like poke through but it's all good she still works oh it sounds like Nicole's about to get home Nicole has been driving back and forth on the road and I have no idea why cuz I didn't even tell her to and I'm honestly like worried that she's okay hi this is Nicole please leave Nicole's coming home and then she is going to this thing I'm doing today where I'm talking at UCF for a starter Riot thing with a bunch of different student owned Ventures hey hi sorry no you're good come that they kept on saying that you were driving by and I didn't believe them yeah I didn't want to be rude and come here on the phone no they want a shout of us like drinking coffee or something okay yes we have to make coffee really fast and then leave team work effort uh blue you're horrible don't break something they want me to be blatantly obvious about the fact that I'm filming I'm filming right now in case you guys didn't know Nicole what did you know we're filming I I didn't know I'm just so where's that where's that blue mug actually the blue mug no the uh purple the pink clear zebra one is it in the dishwasher this is the mouth scam I do it when I don't have hands so I F my mouth I had knee surgery today no I didn't just kidding I got my stitches out today and uh I come home and we got these people with these really big cameras filming and now we're having coffee and then Adam's going to go speak at a lecture and it's going to be really really cool Adam's got a YouTube channel with over 1 million subscribers on it one of the most famous guys on campus Jesse wolf of I want to give each of you guys a chance to look out on these faces and tell us what you see and what gives you hope and inspires you what I see out here are maybe a bunch of people that want to start something but you know like uh we had an awesome speaker in the beginning talk about kind of like that fear of failure and all that I had a friend who's kind of wanted to follow a similar a similar path to me in regards to starting a YouTube channel and stuff like that and what I always tell people is just start like if you have that thought in your head don't let it Ponder the sooner you start the sooner you can learn how to improve what you're doing the sooner you can figure out what you're doing wrong and the sooner you can do that better than other people that are thinking about starting that might start a year down the road so you're going to make mistakes you might as well make them now rather than waiting a year down the road and do it everyone's kind of just waiting for that one clch to get them out there and just start doing and I couldn't agree more with Adam you just have to start don't don't get wrapped up in these preconceived notions of society that you have to do this and you have to do that do what you want and do what you're passion about and it really will all fall place there real quick how much money did it C you to start your business initially uh I spent about somewhere between like $300 and $400 on my first short order $200 $200 how much it cost you $200 I started come us is $53 so you know the thing where I get kind of Twisted is everyone's got this notion that you know oh my God I got I I got an idea it's a great idea I can't tell anybody I me I'm going to need at least a small loan of a million dollar and it's like you no you don't need a million dollar I promise you you need to start right and then they hit the nail on the head of that it could have been said any better so I'm going to do something a little different who here likes entrepreneurship raise your hand who here has a business idea you want say just raise your hand if you kind of have an idea okay right so we got let's say a third of the people in this room right now have an idea drop your hand if you think you can do it by yourself see how many hands stayed up so all you people that don't have ideas should go talk to those people you don't have to have the concept Mark Zuckerberg had a lot of co-founders right these companies Bumble Tinder whatever you're talking you know Snapchat they didn't start these Ventures by themselves you can't start a business Al Al right you can have the idea right and people are like I need to reinvent the wheel you don't though right look around you what affects you in your daily life how many times have you had something happen where you're like damn it why does this this sucks why does somebody fix this you're right be that somebody screw those internships be your own internship get out there get the real life experience any of us on this stage can walk in almost any job we want probably right now and at least get an opportunity to hear us out why because we've done CFO we've done the CEO we've done the marketing right we've worn all those hats we might not have succeeded but our failure has put us that much further ahead and when Adam says you don't know what you're going to fail at until you try but what if you succeed at it right and that's entrepreneurship in a nutshell and that's what I see when I look at every student I passed well what kind of like some of the the the dark experiences or the like oh moments the bad oh moments that you've encountered on this journey because the entrepreneur journey is up and down and back and forth and twisty and I mean it's life right my dark place I guess you could say I used to live in the towers over there anybody live in Towers okay yeah not a lot of people so I had my dorm room all built out with shelving and everything and I had like my bedroom full of shirts and I literally like lived eat and breathed my business they'll tell you this over and over again but running your business is not a 9 to5 you are going to be working non-stop so if you do not if you're not passionate about what you're doing uh it's probably not for you because you really need to be into what you're doing um and what happened to me being a full-time student and trying to juggle business I would get home from class I would try to ride my bike for a little bit and then I would be up to like 3:00 4: a.m. packing shirt orders to get them out bike over to the little post office on campus with my arms full of packages and then go to bed and then try to do it all over again and it was getting to the point where eating at my social life like I couldn't hang out with my friends um it was eating at my hobbies I couldn't ride my bike anymore and you'll probably hear this over and over again but the hardest step to take is to trust someone else with your own business so I kind of had to make the step like I I think I was going on a trip to California and I was worried about shutting the store down for a while so I had my graphic designer at the time take over the store and when I got back from California I ended up leaving at his house and I've trained him since to kind of take over the business so he now runs all the day-to-day operations and I'm able to focus on what I like doing and that's making videos and riding my bike so my best advice to from that is to find someone that you can trust and kind of start teaching someone to do what you do so you can focus on your business and you're not trapped in the day-to-day operations cuz I think that happens all the time working on your business not in your business yes you want your business to work for you yeah one thing that I've always done that I found to be very helpful is before you go and Outsource something try to learn how to do it yourself because if you know how to do it yourself no one can kind of screw you over because you know what's going into it so like if I'm Outsourcing sticker making or whatever like we've made our own sticker so I know what it costs I know the labor that goes into it I know the material costs so I'm not going to pay a ridiculous amount for these stickers because I know what goes into it if you learn how to do the process first and then Outsource it you're not going to get screwed over and you'll feel a lot better because you'll understand what's actually going on that's it's so solid like going back to every aspect of your business I suck at accounting right I know how to do it right I could do it and I can read my spreadsheets and my pnls and stuff it's not my favorite thing to do but again I can tell if an accountant is going to take me for a ride Nicole what did you think of the little busy thing oh it was so cool it was so inspiring man I wish you could do that more often with a Jesse wolf and stuff that was awesome like seriously and it just was so relatable I like it was very inspirational maybe we could get Jesse involved in a YouTube video I bet he'd like that I that would yeah yeah thank you for filming it Nicole then I can share it with them sorry I didn't film more at first I wasn't even planning on including that little bit uh my husband was leaving but I thought it would be ENT I'm leaving Nico I got to run and go pick up the car I hope you guys liked it though I'm so used to skateboarding on clampus on clampus that walking feels so inefficient and it takes so freaking long to get anywhere one of the guys up there his name is Jesse wolf he started a hummus company that he calls the Ben and Jerry's of hummus if you guys are into it in the future we can do like a video together and kind of make it like inspirational and give a lot of advice for anyone out there that like wants to start a business or something I talk extremely fast because I hate vlogging in public so like the faster that I speak the faster I get it over with and the less people that stare at me awkwardly and I feel less awkward we had to stop by the warehouse and figure out some like payroll issues that we had going on but that's all sorted now just finished signing all this stuff sorry it took so long I love these lanyards how's life been Rob it's been pretty good order extra stickers so I can make more don't do that order them they're so quality I just placed my first Uber Eats order ever I'm so excited I've been waiting so patiently for Uber Eats to come to us guys we make yellow stickers yeah Nicole didn't know that spring so stoked for the yellow why cuz yellow's pretty it's happy it's Sunshine that's our new motto for the warehouse you large you lle you large it said you large but then J got I turned I turned it into L you L I thought L was fun how's the sticker production been treating you oh it's been very nice we've been in need of stickers which has been great so I literally just left the warehouse and look what's being unloaded into the culde saac unfortunately they're not for me but like what are the freaking odds this is so cool apparently there's literally an importer like right next door to our warehouse what are the odds of that because our house is new construction it like doesn't exist for some reason on people's maps and no one can ever find our house so my Uber Eats food I just see it on the map I'm starving and it's just driving in circles and it's not even near our house and I'm so upset this guy literally drove by our house SCH Ms and appats know where we are oh my gosh fine finally it's arrived Taylor just last minute hit me up to go drifting with him and Marco maybe someone else it's usually never smart because I always have a lot of stuff to get done and that is true tonight but I've worked hard today so I feel like I deserve it plus I haven't drifted with Taylor yet with his car finally running so it should be fun maybe we'll do like a little bit of mini tandem action Squad oh gosh look who came to the party it's a good thing TJ gets to ride in ERS cuz he has a hard top so it won't mess up his hair got him Marco has a whale spout and this is why rack off says spacers suck mine don't suck you better learn how to tighten your though I learned how to tighten my stuff Diablo M doesn't he has the mysterious tool I have the same Jakey TCH Taylor's good yeah he real good oh that was great subscribe can drive do you really think Taylor can drive look at this guy he thinks he's a vlogger Diablo I saw people so we're going to talk to them and see if they're cool with drifting or if we need to leave now they said they don't care yeah they said they don't care but we don't know leave they're just cool workers whatever they are they said to give them a show so that's what we're going to do and we're going to ride this out as long as we can you look take this out and leave it in oh can you take the crutches out please Diablo yeah thanks Diablo this is TJ hunt driving what do you think T Snapchatting I'm Snapchatting I said what do you think oh tand theing with Allan I was so proud of you I was so proud of you you're so proud of me invited you to tap my
