Motorola Moto Z4 Real-World Test (& 5G Moto Mod)

**Exploring Motorola's 5G Testing Facilities and Phone in Chicago**

As I stepped out of my usual York location, I found myself in beautiful Chicago, where Motorola's headquarters are based. The company had invited me to do a video review on their new phone, and I was excited to explore the city while showcasing the device. However, this trip also allowed me to experience some of Motorola's innovative 5G technology firsthand.

One of the highlights of my time in Chicago was visiting Motorola's testing facilities, where they showcased their cutting-edge 5G technology. The team took me through a series of tests, including using the 5G Moto Mod, which is designed to work seamlessly with Verizon's millimeter wave 5G network. I was eager to see how this device performed in real-world conditions.

**Testing the Phone's Battery Life**

Before embarking on my tour of Motorola's facilities, I wanted to check in on the phone's battery life. At 10:46 AM, the battery level read 65%. As I headed out to explore the city and test the phone's capabilities, I knew that this was just the beginning of a busy day.

As I wandered around Chicago, taking photos and videos with my new phone, I couldn't help but feel excited about its potential. The device's camera capabilities were impressive, capturing stunning shots in various lighting conditions. However, it wasn't until I started testing the phone's display and remote shooting features that I realized just how powerful this device truly was.

**Testing Display and Remote Shooting Features**

One of the most fascinating aspects of my phone was its ability to run multiple videos simultaneously. With a staggering 10 videos playing at once in 4K or HD settings, I was amazed by the device's processing power. This feature alone made it clear that Motorola had designed this phone with power users in mind.

To test this feature further, I set up a remote shooting station in one of Chicago's scenic parks. With the phone's display and remote controls, I was able to capture stunning photos without having to physically touch the device. The result was breathtaking – never before have I seen such crystal-clear images captured remotely.

**Exploring Motorola's 5G Testing Facilities**

As I explored Motorola's testing facilities, I gained a deeper understanding of their innovative approach to 5G technology. The team showed me various test setups and explained how they worked. One interesting aspect was the controlled environment that allowed them to simulate different signal levels, testing the limits of even the smallest signals.

I also had the chance to see some of Motorola's other Moto Mods in action, each designed to enhance specific features or capabilities of their phones. These mods are an excellent way for users to customize their devices and extend their functionality without having to purchase a new phone.

**Exploring Chicago's Street Life**

After spending hours exploring Motorola's facilities, I decided it was time to take my phone out for a spin in the real world. As I walked through the streets of Chicago, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this opportunity. With the 5G Moto Mod enabled, I was able to experience the power and speed of this technology firsthand.

As I strolled along the Lake Michigan shoreline, taking photos and videos with my phone, I noticed just how quickly it captured even the smallest details. The clarity and vibrancy of these images were truly stunning – never before have I seen such beauty captured so effortlessly.

**Closing Thoughts**

Throughout my time in Chicago, I had a chance to experience Motorola's 5G technology firsthand. From exploring their testing facilities to using their innovative phone, I was impressed by the power and speed that this technology brings. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or just looking for a new way to experience the digital world, the Moto Mod is definitely worth considering.

**Chicago Pizza - A Rewarding Treat**

To celebrate the end of my Chicago adventure, I indulged in one of my favorite foods – Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. The flavors were rich and satisfying, making it the perfect reward for a day spent exploring Motorola's innovative technology.

As I concluded my tour of Motorola's facilities and my time with their phone, I realized that this experience was not just about showcasing a new device but also about discovering the potential of 5G technology in real-world applications. Whether you're a power user or just someone looking for a new way to stay connected, the Moto Mod is definitely worth checking out.

**A Final Note - The Price**

One interesting aspect of the phone was its affordability – priced at $499 and paired with the 5G Moto Mod, which costs around $350. While not the cheapest option on the market, this price point makes it an excellent choice for those looking to experience 5G technology without breaking the bank.

**Conclusion - A New Experience**

As I reflect on my time in Chicago exploring Motorola's facilities and their innovative phone, I am left with a sense of excitement and wonder. The potential of 5G technology is undeniable, and devices like the Moto Mod are paving the way for a new era in mobile connectivity. Whether you're a tech enthusiast or just someone looking to stay connected on the go, this experience has left me eager to see what the future holds for Motorola and their innovative approach to 5G technology.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: engood morning another day another real-world test this time we're doing on the Moto Z for looking a little different about today's video though is that I'm not in New York where I normally would be I'm in beautiful Chicago now being in Chicago is twofold right now one it is where Motorola's headquarters are and they're kind of home bases and they asked me to do a video on this phone and flew me out here but also we're gonna be using some of the moto mods and namely the one that I'm really interested in is the 5g moto mod because it runs on Verizon's millimeter wave 5g network which I've actually never been able to test yet but it is live here in Chicago now if you're not familiar railroad tests here is where I'm gonna try to go through my normal day there's gonna be a lot of stuff that I'm sure Motorola is gonna show me and I'm gonna kind of just wander around and be a little bit of a tourist here but going through that normal day and checking on the battery throughout the day to see how it does as well as taking photos and videos and doing other things with this phone and put them up in the screen so you guys can check them out with that said though first things first coffee Coffee check real quick though while we're in here before we head over to the Merchandise Mart which is where Motorola's headquarters are let's check in on the battery as we do it is 1046 am I took it off about 8:30 or so we are ass fibers hello okay now we're in Motorola's headquarters and we're going to actually get a little bit of a tour of their 5g testing facilities in here using that 5g modem on that I mentioned earlier and then we're get to play with the 5g moto mod and kind of see how that does again kind of excited cuz I've never used no memory valia ten videos running simultaneously most of them in 4k or HD settings so that were consuming as much bandwidth this we can possibly consume with those so 10 videos to do a video called the phone's displays remote is so we had so that's not an application that consuming max 500 rabbits okay so this is a controlled environment obviously but still all of that is running off of basically this 5g mode Ahmad doing a hotspot that's nice so this was okay you can see this was taken six four and maybe somewhere different points and time on the streets we are looking at so we I think you can see at one point we were so excited even for a 600 because we this what we are getting for the first few months right that is around three to four that is still a big no crazy we closed this room again the signal level will drop down to like one millionth of what is outside so that allows us to very controlled test after how small signal can go and radio can receive okay now let's see we can do outside okay we're done with the testing and checking of the 5g lab and it is now 5:22 so let's check it in the battery it is at 65% now one of the interesting things about that 5g motor mod is that it actually has a 2000 milliamp battery built into it and so the 5g mod as you're using it drains its own battery not the battery in the phone which is kind of cool the engineers even told me that the 5g mod should be able to run all day on its own power without affecting the overall battery life of the phone itself so it's just you know one of those benefits of having the 5g built into the mod and not the phone it has its own Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset an X 50 modem built in which enables the 5g and lets it sort of control its own components and then there's also of course more room for more battery I'm about to get something that I love here in Chicago that I haven't had he should cago pizza okay I'm stuffed it was ambitious and dumb with Indiana finish that but whatever let's add it here and let's test some night shots okay now besides the 5g mod that I was super excited about this phone can also use all of the other moto mods too okay calling it a night it is 10:52 p.m. and we are at about 25% one more thing worth noting the phone is $4.99 and the Moto mod is 350 sometimes you can find a discount on it but honestly the interesting thing about that is that for a 5g millimeter-wave phone this is probably the cheapest way at least in the United States that you can get access to that hope you guys like this video please let me know in the comments below check out of the phone of this video etc and if you did like the video please thumbs up it our shirt greatly appreciated and as always regardless thanks for watching and Alexa play rain sounds good nightgood
