Samsung Flagship Tablets Launch, G Watch Specs Rumored, & Quantum Paper

Google's Consistent Design Language

Google has continued its effort to have a consistent design language right across multiple platforms. This means that whether you're using iOS, Android, or the web, the design language and user experience are going to look very much the same. The updated design is expected to bring a new icon set, but it appears that each service will gain its own color identifier. We already see red for the Google+ app, Gmail may get blue, and calendar will get white or green. This new approach aims to create a cohesive look across all of Google's services.

LG's Android Wear Device

Anonymous sources have told MCO that LG's Android Wear device will be launched as early as July 7th. The device is expected to offer a range of features and specifications, including a 1.6-inch display with a 280x280 resolution, 4GB of storage (which is likely a typo and should be 512MB or 1GB), 400mAh battery with standby time of 36 hours, and a weight of approximately 61g. The device will have an overall dimension of 37.9 x 46.5 x 9.95mm.

Programs for Developers

For those interested in pursuing a career in software development, there are several programs available that can help you achieve your goal. One such program is Full Sail University, which focuses on how to become a developer and provides specific technology used in creating and distributing apps. Another option is the online Mobile Gaming Master's degree program, which allows students to expand their programming skills while learning how to improve the mobile gaming experience through hands-on projects.

OnePlus One Shipments Delayed

Earlier this week, OnePlus fans were disappointed to learn that the shipments of the OnePlus One would be delayed due to software issues. The delays are not uncommon in the industry, and normally wouldn't be a huge deal. However, OnePlus One has already exhausted its reserves of public goodwill after several controversial episodes of teasing campaigns that built huge anticipation for the 2014 flagship killer. Fortunately, the software issues that reportedly caused the delay have been solved, and devices should be shipping soon.

Samsung's New Flagship Tablets

Samsung's new flagship tablets are expected to feature sweet AMOLED displays under the hood. Depending on whether you end up with the Wi-Fi or LTE version, both models will contain either an Exynos 5 OCTA or a 2.3 quad-core Snapdragon 801 CPU. Both devices will have 3GB of RAM and an 8.4 or 10.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x600. They will also come with 16GB or 32GB of storage, a Micro SD card slot for expansion up to 128GB, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 2.1 megapixels front-facing camera, and a profile thickness of 6.6mm.
