Lamborghini's are Sick Cars: Ranking Every Production Car Ever Built

As we stand here today, it's clear that Lamborghini is a brand that knows how to create sick cars. The roar of their engines, the sleek design, and the sheer power behind each vehicle make them a dream to drive. But which one is the sickest? In this article, we'll be exploring every single production car that Lamborghini has ever built, and ranking them all.

I'm joined by my best friend, Nolan, and together we're about to embark on an epic journey through the world of Lamborghini. We've been making The D-List for about a year now, and I think it's safe to say that we've changed the game. When you change the game, as much as we do, you have to up your game. So, we consulted with some of the top scientists and engineers in the field, and together we came up with The Monolist.

Using this list, we'll be ranking every single Lamborghini production car ever made. No one-offs, no extremely limited additions that only a few people can buy – we're talking about all the iconic models that have been produced by the Italian supercar manufacturer. We know that some of these cars are going to be tough to rank, but with our expertise and your input, we'll get it right.

But before we start, I have a monumental announcement to make. As we begin this journey through Lamborghini's production cars, you might notice that we're using the Monolist to guide us. This list was created by some of the top minds in the field, and it's going to help us narrow down our rankings.

So, without further ado, let's get into it with the first ever Lamborghini machine car ever made. The first car produced by Lamborghini was indeed the 350 GT, a tractor before that, according to legend. But who knew that this humble beginning would lay the foundation for one of the world's most iconic supercar brands?

The story goes that Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of Lamborghini, was not impressed with Ferrari's high-performance sports cars. He took some notes and even tried to give them feedback, but Enzo Ferrari basically dismissed him. Little did he know that his feedback would one day inspire a new generation of supercar manufacturers.

But enough about history; let's talk about what makes Lamborghini's cars so sick. From the roaring engine sounds to the sleek design, each car is a masterpiece. And in this article, we're going to explore every single production car that Lamborghini has ever built.

So, buckle up and get ready for an epic journey through the world of Lamborghini. Whether you're a die-hard fan or just a car enthusiast, this article is for you.

So Ferruccio went backto his Lamborghini tractor factoryand was like, "Hey guys,we make sports cars now,Ferrari's got a 250 GT, we have a 350 GT- Looking at it like it's very muchlike a sports car of the era.Not exactly hitting that, you knowlike over the top Lamborghini flare yet.- And I think like Lamborghinihas always maintainedthis sort of "F you" attitude and they'revery proud of that. And this car was literallymade to be an "F you".So I think it definitelybelongs somewhere near the top.We don't have anythingto really compare it to- Yeah, number one,- but that's a good place to start- by default right now.Next up, we got the 400 GT.This is just literally abetter version of the 350 GT,it has better suspension, it's gota bigger four liter engineinstead of a 3.5, hence the name.- Bigger number means better.- Yeah. ( laughter)After the 400 GT, we take a giant leapin the super car story withthe world's first super car,the legendary Lamborghini Miura.A lot of people say this isthe most beautiful car ever made. And I find it hard to disagree with them. The 350 GT was the first Lamborghini. This is the first Lambert-gynmachine, you know what I mean.- James, I don't know about you.I'm going to go aheadand say that the Miurais probably going to bevery high on the listfor the rest of the episode.- Yeah.- Uh, let's just go ahead and put that.- I mean, Lamborghini justkeeps getting better and better.- Ooh, Espada.- Espada.- Espada- So the basic idea with theEspada was it was supposedto be a Miura, like the same like appeal, the same beautyof a Miura, but in a true grand tourer.- It's funky looking.- It looks like a carfrom Dexter's laboratory.- Yeah. (laughter)- I think it would be awesometo like, have one of these,if, if like your grandpadied and like had it, likeI would definitely be inlike a Petrolicious videobut so far this list, Ithink it's under the 350 GTcause it also doesn't havea lot of, uh, historical.- Agreed.- It brings us to the Islero.- Ooh, Islero.- This car was released at the same timeas the Espada, um, it'sbasically a re-bodied 400 GTso going back to someof the older technologyand it was really meant to bea more conservativelooking Lamborghini, uh,which I think is a terrible idea.A Lamborghini is like amiddle finger to everybody.- I kind of want to putit in between these, these ones right here.- This one gets a littlebecause he was number one.- Oh, that's true. Allright, I'm okay with that.I'm trying to be more combativewith you on this episodebecause I've watched back ofa lot of our collab episodes- And you just agree- I tend to agree with you a lot- But we have very similar tastes- I know but this wasyour, this was your gimme.- Okay. Next up. This isthe Lamborghini, Jarama, all right and guess what,it was named after a bull, all of them are named after bulls.Islero was not a huge successso they released the Jarama.Uh, this is the last frontengine, uh, touring carthat Lamborghini ever made.- I love the look of thisthing. Where do I, where?- It's got a V12 in the front.- That's so sickand it's got, it's a tiny V12.- Yeah, I love small displacementengines with a bunch ofcylinders- Because they can just revsuper high, they sound awesome.- They sound the best.- And this was FerruccioLamborghini's favorite model,apparently.- Gotta give respect to the"Rucc". Respect the "Rucc"or catch the hands.- Jarama, yeah, that's cool.- Jarama sounds like a fruit.- Yeah. Like, dude, haveyou ever tried like thatJarama lacroix? Nasty.- Yeah. Now we're gettingmore and more into theLamborghini look. Okay, this is the, Urraco. This was released as a more"affordable" model think camein to compete with the Ferrari, Dino.- Okay.- Which was Ferrari'smore consumer-based car. This was the first ever V8production car for Lamborghini,uh, Urraco means "little bull" in Italian, guy's obsessed with bulls, I told you,but it debuted during the gas crisisand sort of, uh, wasn'ta big hit in the U Sbecause it had emission stuffand big old crash bumpers.- This just, this, it doesn'treally do anything for me,this one.- Right. I think there's a reasonthat the Urraco is one of the lost Lambos.- Yeah. Sorry, sorry Urraco. Bam.- And now, we are reachingpeak Lambert-gynwith the legendary, changethe poster history forever, the Lamborghini Countach. This is the true successor to the Miura, the new Lamborghini super car,the first production carwith fricking scissor doors.- Ironically, like this islike the classic poster caras you said. But like, you know, this is likebefore my time.- Yeah.- Um, but looking backon it, it's pretty cool.- They made it from 1974 to 1990.- They did.- There's a ton of different versions. If you want to look at anearly one versus a late one,I think they both look great.- Horacio Pagani worked onthis car as well or the,a later version of thiscar launched his career.- Yeah, Pagani, ever heard of him? This might be above the Miura.- Don't be afraidto smack it on there, Nolan.- I, I don't want tohurt something, you know.- Another one of the, uh,forgotten Lambert-gyns.This one is the Silhouette, which may or may nothave been named after a bull. This one is based on the Urraco, which we are not a fan of,it was made to appeal to American marketsbut it didn't really work. And that is again, whythis is another kindof forgotten, uh, Lambert-gyn.I would put it above theUrraco because targasare cool, otherwisepretty much the same car.- That's the only thing thatis saving, it looks even worse, but targas are sick like you said. All right, Silhouette.- Beautiful. Next up we havethe Jalpa, named after a bull. This was the entry level carfor Lamborghini at the timefor people who didn't want theabsolutely bonkers Countach,it was an evolution of the silhouette. As you can see, it still has a targa top. This was the last vehicle touse a V8 that Lamborghini had,all the way up until the Urus.255 horsepower, not incredibly fast.- No, but like, this is wherelike now we're seeing the pattern emergefor Lamborghini where it'slike, you got the big doglike Countach, and then hegot a little, little boy.- I think this car looks really cool.- I like it, like if you saw thatat like a meet or something, like cars and coffee.- Yeah, I'd put it above Islero, for sure.- Yeah, I think so.- Please, if you're partof the pebble beach crowdand you know, a ton about Lamborghini'sdon't yell at us or makemean things about us.- We are two dumb guys.- We are just two dumb guys.- Ooh, the LM double Otwo, the Rambo Lambo.- Yeah. Lamborghini's firstdive into the SUV marketbefore the SUV market was even a thing. This thing looks like anItalian Hummer and I love it.I'm here for it.They built it to dig themselvesout of one of their manybad financial times. And the plan was to sell it to a militarybut no military wanted it.- Yeah. I believe at the timebefore the LM double O two, they made a prototype called the Cheetahwhich was more of like anopen air kind of vehiclemore like a old-school Jeep.So then they had this and thenput some leather seats in it.- I mean, this thing is absolutely hugeand I'm really impressed thatit went zero to 60 in 7.7.- That's pretty quick.- In the eighties for a bigtruck, this thing hauls.- That's amazing.- I got to say on the, "Iwant one" ability of the list, the LM O O twois probably right here.(tapping)I would. Dream life, I'mliving on like 150 acres,uh, I got one of these thingswith a standup gun turreton the back and I just pay achauffeur to drive me aroundall day while I shoot targets in my field. We are getting intoabsolutely peak Lamborghini.Pretty much everythingfrom here on out is a hit. This is of course the LamborghiniDiablo, the replacementfor the Countach, the Countachwas around for 16 years. It took five of thoseyears for them to developthis bad boy. It was the first Lamborghinito hit over 200 miles per hour.I love the Countach. And I don't know ifit's my age or somethingbut I would rather have a Diablo,- I think Diablo is cooler- Than a Countach. Diablois cooler than a Countach.- Absolutely.- I think they did, they dida great job taking everythingthat was really cool aboutthe such a legendary car,the Countach and they just made it better.- Also it's named after the devil- Yeah, it's named afterthe (beep) devil himself. And we all know that all cars go to hell.So when this thing diedit went down there and itwas like, "Hey, what's up me"paste vintage of one andbump him up dumb and dumber.(laughter)- I saw a yellow, one of theseon Ocean Avenue in Santa Monicaand it was one of the coolest.- Dude, yellow, OceanAllan Avenue, yellow card? Why weren't there more- Back flipping violi-- Why weren't there moreback flipping violinistsin pop punk? And the hits just keep on coming, the Lamborghini Murcielago. This is the first new designafter 11 years of the Diablo. It's the first car thatthey put out once they wereowned by Volkswagen.- That's awesome.- Who really saved the company.Lamborghini had a lot ofbad financial times, um.- We want to reiterate that.- It means- The vibes were off(laughter)Murcielago, I am very partialto because this is, besidesthe Dodge Viper, Murcielago islike my teenage dream car.- Yeah.I really want one inblack, manual transmission,uh, Batman drove one.- This is our first stepfor all cars into likemodern super cars.- For sure.- Super cars from the nineties.Part of the appeal is likethey're so hard to drive andthey're, they will kill you.And they're uncomfortablewhile I don't think theMurcielago is a comfortable car,it introduces stuff like all wheel drive. This is a bigger deal on thecar scale, than the Diablo.- Bam.- Next up, we have theLamborghini Gallardo,it's not Guyardo okay, inItaly, they pronounce the L,Lamborghini Gallardo. Iasked them how to say it.They told me Gallardo, haveyou even talked to them?(laughter)No. Guess who has?Me.Guess what I asked? "Howdo you say Gallardo?"They said, "you said it right"."I don't even know whyyou asked that question, you're perfect".The Gallardo was meant to bean "every day" Lamborghini. It's got a V10 instead of aV12, did not have scissor doors, gotta deduct points for that. And it was Lamborghini's firstcar to make money in a while.- And you got to givethem points for that.- Definitely. I think it'san awesome looking car.I would love one, especially with a stick- But I think it's kind ofboring looking compared to someof the other cars on here.I want to put it, LM doubleO two, yeah. I think that's.Yeah, I think that's appropriate.- We've hit the Aventador, thecurrent flagship Lambert-gyn.This is an awesome car.- Yeah.- This car is absolutely Lamborghini.Uh, I think Lamborghini hasdone a good job with some, you knowwhat was compromisedmodels like the Gallardoand the Huracan, but thisis 1000% Lamborghini. And if you want to go even crazieryou can get the S VJ tobe 10000% Lamborghinithat this has got 760 horsepowerand the coolest spoilerever to be put on a car.- Pretty sick.- I love this thing. We drove a white one.I love white super cars.- Just the most like savage, like unnecessarily brutal.- It still has a single disc clutch.- Yeah, a single disc clutch.- The shift in this thing, like, yeah, it's paddles, but it's like, (engine noises)It's like a Ducati, likesome people love the chatterand some people don't. Ipersonally love the chatterand I will take chatteruntil chatter disappearsand chatter's going to disappear soon.So we've got to protectwhat chatter we haveand appreciate it.- I love the Aventador.Oh, but do I love it morethan the Diablo or the Murcielago?- The SEJ is so tight but whichone would you rather pull upto a cars and coffee in?- I'd go Murcielago first.- 100%.- Yeah, I want to sayabove the LM double O two.- Yeah, me too.- But still okay.- But still I'd rather drivethis car than this car, this car, or this car.- Yeah, this is by far the bestto drive so far on the listjust cause it's a moderncar, it's got conveniences, but there's- It's faster. It's faster. It's 100% of the fastest car on this list.I got to show respectwhere respect is due.I got to give it up to my elders. Here we have probably one of themost popular Lamborghini's ever,uh, mostly from a salesperspective anyway. The Huracan, the Aventador'sV10 powered little brother.- Like we said, you know, the pairingof the big bro and the littlebro, big sis, and little sisthroughout Lamborghini's history.I don't know how I feel about this one.I like the Huracan Performante, the, thethe track version a lot.- I think it has the sameproblem that the Aventador has.I think to a certain extent,Volkswagen has kept Lamborghiniin business, but have theytaken a little bit of the dangera little bit of the excitement?I don't think that this car isas exciting as any of these.- I think it's cooler than the Gallardo.- Me too.We have one more productionLamborghini to go overbut before that, I wantedto add just a little bitof a bonus into the mix. This isthe Lamborghini Mach 250 VRT tractor. This is their flagship open field tractor. This is the nicest openfield tractor you can getfrom Lamborghini, this ismade by Lamborghini Trattori.- Oh.- That means tractor factory.- Lamborghini, tractor,- A tractorri if you will.- Lamborghini tractorfact- it's like a, it'slike a Earl Sweatshirt line.- Yeah, Lamborghini tractor factory.- I love that it has a very angular.- It looks like a Lamborghini tractor.- Yeah, yeah, yeah. There'sreally not much elseyou can say about that. That's so funny, manbut which is a cooler one?- Yeah, (laughter) I thinkit's cooler than a Jalpa.- You think so?- Lamborghini tractor factory.- Mach 250.- Yeah.- 250 times the speed of sound.(laughter)Amazing.- Which brings us to ourfinal car on the list.We are going in chronologicalorder. It's the Urus.- Urus.- It's an SUV, which is not as excitingas a flagship V12 car but it is excitingbecause they're going to sellan absolute ton of these.I think it's such a cool swing.I think, uh, these, likethey're making them goodand fast with big brakes.- As big as a pizza.- As big as a pizza.- Okay. So like Lamborghiniis all about like pushingjust like styling boundsand like performancelike the boundaries of performance. But like when you're inthat interior, that's likethis is gonna sound weird, but it'slike the Lamborghini of interior.- It's an amazing car.- It's really cool.I can't wait for like thestyling refresh though. It's a little much right now. It's like, "Hey, I'm a Lamborghini."It's like, how about justlike, "Hey, I'm a Lamborghini."- "Hey, Hey, I'm a Lamborghini."Like confident.- Yeah, yeah, yeah. There we go, Urus.- So ultimately you guys kind ofpicked the same ones we did.I know there's somevariation, but I think it'sthis is sort of a sensethat everybody's got, uh,Lambert-gyn machine awesome company. Thanks for watching this videoand everything else on Donut media.Go ahead and hit that subscribe button. So you guys don't miss anything. We know that we're doinga good job following Nolanon social media @nolanjsykes,follow me @jamespumphrey.We debuted the monolist tothe donut underground membersbefore we even shot thisepisode, before I even saw it.So if you want to learn moreabout the donut undergroundhit the join button down thereor I'll put a link inthe description below.I love you.- Be kind.(upbeat music)- Hey guys, what's up?I got some big news andit's right here on my head.Introducing the firstofficial Donut beanieonly available at donutmedia.com.It comes in two awesome colorsvibrant orange, for thosewho want to stand outduring the day and Navy blue, for those who want to blend inat the night. And the best thing about abeanie, no matter who you areit can help highlightyour personality, whetheryou're intimidating at firstbut once you get to know you, you're a really nice person.Or if you're someonewho always has that bandthat your friends neverheard of, and you're shockedand you make them listento them right away, justlike sort of an oldpoetic soul, kind of type,an actor slash writer slashdirector slash musician.I own an acoustic guitar. The donut beanie is theperfect hat for any occasionor any type of person getsyours at donutmedia.comtoday,(laughter)today!
