New Apple Watch 6, iPad Air and... NO iPHONE! Sept 15th Apple Event Rumor Round Up!

The Countdown to Apple Season Has Officially Begun

The countdown is officially on, and it's time to get excited about Apple season. In previous years, we've all gathered together at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino to celebrate the latest iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and iOS release. However, this year has been completely thrown out of the window, with WWDC taking place virtually.

This means that the traditional launch event is not happening as expected, but we can still expect some updates on the new Apple Watch, iPad, and possibly AirTags. The rumors are suggesting that the Time Flies event will only cover these three products, with any other announcements potentially being saved for later. However, there's a good chance that the iPhone 12 event is going to get its own launch at the end of the month.

The reason for this shift in plans is due to the significant impact of COVID-19 on supply and demand for resources. The pandemic has pushed the release date of the iPhone 12 to a later time in October, which makes sense to save the best for last. By hyping up the new Apple Watch and other products, they can create anticipation for the more highly anticipated iPhone launch.

The Author's Personal Take

As an avid Apple fan, I have to say that I love my Apple Watch so much. It has been a game-changer in terms of tracking my health, and I've found it to be incredibly useful over the past few years. The leak suggests that there may be some exciting new features coming to the Apple Watch, including blood oxygen detection. This is something that I personally use with an O2 ring sensor, and I test mine at least once a day to ensure I'm within the 96-99% range.

The integration of sleep tracking into the new watch OS will also likely have some sort of improved detection for this feature. Many of the leaks have been coming from code that is being pulled out of the various Boch OS and in iOS 14, which suggests that Apple is working hard to bring these features to life.

New Rumors and Leaks

There's a rumor circulating about a new kid mode for kids, which could go hand in hand with a cheaper Apple Watch SE. This version might be made of plastic and lack some of the features like ECG and blood O2 to cut costs. It makes sense that Apple would want to create a more affordable option, especially since they're already making efforts to reduce the cost of their products.

The author wonders if they'll call this new watch model the Apple Watch Pro or the Apple Watch Mini/SE, based on the internet's speculation. There's also talk about removing the Force Touch feature from the Apple Watch, but it seems that the general design will remain largely the same.

A Special Look at the Apple Watch

The Apple Watch has been one of my favorite tech devices almost all time. It's helped me quantify my health in ways I never thought possible. With the integration of sleep tracking into the new watch OS, I'm excited to see how this will improve detection for blood oxygen levels. The possibilities are endless, and I can already imagine the new features that Apple has in store for us.

The author also mentions their own experience with an O2 ring sensor, which they use daily to ensure they're within a healthy range. This level of personal tracking is made possible by devices like the Apple Watch, and it's clear that Apple is committed to making these features accessible to everyone.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en- The countdown is officially on.It is Apple season. Now in previous years,we've all gathered together in Cupertinoat the Steve Jobs Theaterfor the iphone, iPad, Apple watchand the new iOS release. And at this point, all of those things wouldhave already been announced. But this year much like prettymuch everything this yearthat has been completelythrown out the window. So WWDC was virtual. So this is gonna be very similar to that. Now, most likely the rumors are suggestingthat this Time Fliesevent will only cover upthe new Apple Watch,iPad and maybe AirTags.Maybe HomePods or maybesome new AirPods Studio, but we're not really sure. But there's a really good chancethe iPhone 12 event is getting its ownat the end of the month.Since the supply and demandof resources has beenpushed so significantly due to COVID,this is now potentially pushing therelease of the iPhone dateto a later time in October. So this does make sense toget everybody all hyped upabout the new Apple Watchand all of the goodies. And then save the best for last.I wouldn't say the best for last, because I love my Apple Watch so much.Anyway these are all rumors thingsthat I've kind of pulledfrom the internet.I will put all of thelinks to all of my sourcesin the description below.I don't have any other crazy informationthat you guys can't justsearch for yourself. But I'm kind of taking it alland recapping it all herein one video for you.I also plan on doing a livereaction recap after the event. And also a very specialedition of our new podcast. We just started our YouTubeChannel this weekendso if you guys want to go check that outyoutube.com/samebrain.And we'll be posting a specialApple event podcast thereshortly after.Probably a little bit longer after'cause we have to editit so just be patient. So the Apple Watch, Iwould say is probablyone of my favorite techdevices almost of all time.Of course other than the iPhone. But this has helped me somuch over the past few yearsreally quantify my health. Now the leak say that therehas been some code foundwithin iOS 14, that couldsuggest that the Apple Watchis finally adding blood oxygen detection. Now I actually use this O2 ring sensorAnd I test mine at leastonce a day to make surethat I'm least in the 96 to 99% range. Now with the integrationof the sleep trackinginto the new watch OS Ialso think that this willhave some sort of improveddetection for that as well.So many of these leakshave been coming from codethat they are pulling outof the various Boch OSand in iOS 14.Like this, there's a possiblenew kid mode for kids. Now this could go hand inhand with this other rumorof a new, cheaper Apple Watch SE,possibly made of plastic andlacking some of the featureslike ECG and blood O2 to cut costs.I think this really does make sensebecause obviously if you are going towant to try to make a cheaperversion of the Apple Watch, they're gonna have to usemore inexpensive materialsand not have all of the samefeatures as the Apple Watch.I wonder if they're gonnacall it the Apple Watch Proor like the Apple WatchMini or the Apple Watch SEthat's kind of what the internet is sayingthat they think they're gonna call it.Also looks like they might be removingthe Force Touch on theApple Watch as well, but they do plan onkeeping the general designsort of the same.which I'm actually very glad aboutbecause I have so many Apple Watch bandsthat if they do changethe design too much,we won't be able to useany of our old bands. They do always add some new finishesor some kind of visual cueon the newest Apple Watchesto let know, \"Hey, thisis the newest Apple Watch.I just want to let youall know it's subtle, but it's not as subtle enoughthat you're not gonnaable to see it and knowthat this is new.\"Next up is the iPad.It looks like there's gonna be an iPad 8and an iPad Air 4.That we did just get anupdate to the iPad Prolike a few months ago withLiDAR and a spec boost. So unless they plan onreleasing another iPad Pro,I feel like that's not very realistic. These iPad Air 4 rumorsare based on a pamphletthat was leaked a few months ago,or like last month or something. Now this looks like what is usuallyincluded inside of the boxBut it shows a more iPadPro looking iPad Airwith the possibility of Touch ID builtinto the side button with USB-C.I love the iPad Air,but I also really love my iPad Proso kind of taking that formfactor over the iPad Air,making it look a littlebit more like the Proand adding a fingerprintsensor is just I'm,I'm here for it.The ipad Air has alwaysbeen a very popular choicefor its size and its cost. But it really desperatelyhas needed an update. As for the iPad 8 I would probably imagineit's gonna get an updated cameramaybe dual camera probably no LiDAR,but maybe also Touch ID.I mean if the Air is getting that,I feel like that's probablysomething that the iPad 8should have as well.I mean I don't really know, this is just something that seems logical.I haven't really seenany info that suggeststhat they'll be doing anupdate to the HomePod,but I do have my fingers crossedbecause I love my HomePod.Now I think if they didsome sort of HomePod Minior really just freaking updatedSiri so that she would workwould also suffice.I mean like she works butthen like she doesn't.I mean the HomePod has beenout for a couple of years.I feel like there's been some rumors ofpotential discontinuation of the HomePod.I mean like it'll still work, but I just don't know ifthere'll be an update.which I hope there is becauseI love my HomePod so much.I really do have them in every room.So really no matterwhere I go in my house,I'm never alone.AirTags could finally be makingtheir appearance this week. These are the long-rumored tracker tagsthat they have supposedly been working on.I used to always use toweltrackers for all of my things. But now the only thing thatI'm losing is my sanity. Is I don't ever leave the house. So, if we can get an AirTag for that, that'd be great. So that's what we potentiallyhave to look forward toin addition to maybe anotherevent later this month.I mean, I don't know who knows.Does anybody know?I don't know.I'm sure people would Apple know.Maybe Apple will be like Xbox and see thateveryone has alreadylinked a bunch of stuffand just troll themselveson Twitter, like Xbox said, and just give us all of theactual info to dispel allof the tornadoes of rumors.Speaking of which, let's gothrough those really quickbefore I let you clickoff to another video. So it will be 2020 iPhone 12 lineup issupposedly giving us four new phonesand all new design, a 5.4,6.7 and 6.1 inch sizes, triple lens, 3D camera, all the displays, five Gand an A14 chip. Here's the rubric specs from AppleInsider. And here's what they might look like.iPhone 12, iphone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Proand iPhone 12 Pro Max.I absolutely love this purple mock-up,like this is beautiful. It kinda looks like a brighter versionof the iPhone 11 last year.It looks like it's gonna be moreof a flat stainless steel edge designinstead of the curved, which I really like. And there's this all newpotential of midnight blue color, which is kind of a very nice contrast.Well, not really contrast, but it's a very similar shadeof the midnight green from last year.I actually think that Ilike the midnight bluea little bit more.So I will be doing a fulliPhone 12 rumor video very soon, unless everything isannounced at the Apple event. And I will just then recap it for you.So until then, I will see youguys back here on my channelfor all of the things.Okay bye.See ya.Time sure flies when you're in quarantine(upbeat music)(beep)Time flies, when you're having fun.\n"
