**Unboxing and First Impressions of the RAM TRX**

We're now in sport mode, and we'll see how it does. One more time, three two one... oh my god, oh my god, the TRX, the T-Rex is awesome, and I wanted to give you guys an overview, show you all the options I got, what I paid for it. Um, I did pay MSRP, so the price that you saw on there is what I paid, and you know, just kind of give you a quick rundown of the truck.

But now we can actually get into like, the real RAM TRX content - off-roading, jumping, mud, you know, rocks, whatever it's going to be. Epic, and I think if it's nice tomorrow, we are going to take it to Roush Creek, so it's going to be a trial by fire here for sure on the T-Rex. And I couldn't be more excited. I mean this is going to soon, soon become my only truck because the Raptor giveaway ends in like five days and then that one ends in like 15 days after that.

So right now, oh, I didn't, I don't even think I announced that on YouTube yet but I did on Instagram, um so if you don't follow me do so right now it's up on the screen. morning good morning it's a very early morning here on the channel it's about uh 5 30 a.m and i'm about to jump on a plane to fly to kentucky to get my ram trx after much anticipation a very very many months of looking forward to this truck we're in detroit and the irony of course is that my truck was built here we are in kentucky just landed holy crap that wing is freaking massive incredible timing incredible what's up brother great to see you too the car looks insane yes there she is i see it oh my it looked massive in the picture oh my god it is massive there she is my gross of the day right ready to rock and roll ready to rock and roll the ram trx is all cleaned up thank you very much sir sir thank you 583 eight hours 38 minutes now begins the big journey 600 miles about nine and a half ish hours in the ram chair it's gonna be one heck of a test of a new i mean no better way though to test out a car you just got or a truck you just got than to drive it this far home my goodness i hope you guys are ready for some trx content and i hope you're having a great day so today we are doing a full tour of the trx you said you've got a t-rex uh-huh say it again we have a t-rex oh my god oh my god and it will be the first time that we ever use launch control in the truck and actually get on it for a full acceleration so my 600 mile journey home was epic it was epic now being a brand new truck you know you expect it to be comfortable on the highway and all that good stuff and it was but i didn't expect it to be that good because keep in mind i was doing 90 plus the entire way and it was very very stable at high speeds very solid now we're living in great times when you have a truck that's this capable off-road but one that's also that good on the road as well for a very very long journey anyway some of my favorite little things on the truck obviously the three ambers in the nostrils of the t-rex great great feature there i like the black graphic here on the hood says trx and the hood vents also this is really cool here if you look on the side of the truck it's so freaking wide like the raptor is wide but i think the trx is even wider and you can see all the way through the fender on the truck it's got a vent here and a vent in the back and you can literally see through it got little side markers here much like the raptor and it's kind of cool that we have them both side by side even though that one's not stock it's not that modified so it's pretty close you know it's a pretty good representation of what the trx looks like next to a raptor that one is lifted you can see the raptor b are the trx being downhill it's actually a little bit taller i think than the raptor even being lifted which is insane look at where the mirror is you can see the mirror is a little bit higher the window line looks a little bit higher and again the raptor is uphill on my driveway so the trx next to a raptor is i think quite a bit bigger leds on the bottom really cool daytime running lights and your ram badge on the front is not a solid badge like the ford it's open so that you get maximum airflow to that 6.2 liter hellcat engine powering this beast this will actually be pretty cool because my truck is fully fully loaded like you can't there are no options you can get that i don't have the only thing this truck doesn't have uh are the bead lock wheels it does not have those because that was going to slow down production of the truck so i said you know what let's scrap it because i want to get mine really early other than that this truck has everything and the price was 93 000 93 grand for a truck but in my opinion it's worth it and it's pretty much on par with where a fully loaded raptor is the rock sliders on the side and if you look underneath you can actually see a really really strong brace here for the rear axle in case you do want to jump it which i didn't notice in any other video favorite feature on the truck of course is the ram bar and i already moved the spare tire from under the truck into the bed on the tire carrier because well that's way cooler you have a step that comes out for the bed you can hop up there that makes it easy and if you look at the ram bar step down climb up and then the ram bar has mounts already for lighting so if you want to put some leds up here or if you want to go old school with the big round kc lights you can do that and there it's already it's already got the brackets and it has holes in it to wire uh your lighting up here so really really cool your trx badge and you have these massive massive tips here for the exhaust um and i think we are going to make this truck louder but if you look there really isn't a whole lot of restriction on here it's pretty freaking open you just have little resonators we'll get rid of those we're going to cut these out and that should give us a little more volume while maintaining you know the warranty and everything like that it's not such a big and it won't be too obnoxious it's not like we're doing catless headers or anything but check out while i'm under here check out that brace for the rear axle again the shock absorber up top i don't think anyone has shown the underside of the truck that's really cool and i've never seen that before all right and now besides the engine this is the best part the inside of the truck well i don't know the outside looks pretty darn cool as well but this screen is amazing like gm is so far behind and then ford is almost as far behind but not quite as far and then ram is on top undisputed no way like not even close ford and gm are so far behind this screen is ridiculous ram is the only brand that looks like their trucks actually are in the year 2021. you got beautiful carbon fiber everywhere red leather on the dash the whole dash is leather and alcantara i mean it's really like you kind of feel like you're in a supercar here not a pickup truck uh with all the materials but it's just really really cool great place to be your gauge cluster is freaking awesome gives you a cool little graphic right there and that graphic changes depending on what mode you're in so you have your trx button here press that and then it goes into performance modes you have sport tow snow custom mud sand rock baja you can even make your own custom mode if you want go to performance i mean there is so much stuff i won't bore you to death with everything in here but you could sit here for hours and play with it g-force meter engine dino like just crazy crazy stuff and i think if you you can see when you rev it sorry the reflection here um the engine dyno goes up i mean that is so freaking that is so freaking cool you got race options where you can activate launch control and set your launch rpm in a pickup truck you can set your launch rpm for drag racing in a pickup truck under the trx button you have your different modes and when you change modes you can see a little graphic comes up so there's custom mud sand and it shows the trx doing what you're telling it to do based on what mode it's going into a rock mode baja mode flying in the air sport mode we're on the road on a track or something tow mode we've got a trailer snow we're in the tundra it's just really really cool you can tell they spent a lot of time making sure that when you buy this truck you feel like it was a special project and it really was trailer button auxiliary buttons if you want to put you know your lights on the truck you got a very very nice trx badge here in metal uh with your vin number and then your supercharger psi you lift this up you have a top compartment here two books there that come with the truck kind of like a quick uh quick guide unlike the manual which is kind of big now you have a little like quick little go to usb port and then under here you have the famous uh if you can even see it it's a size chart of a human being a t-rex the t-rex truck and a velociraptor which is just epic one thing i know doug missed and maybe his truck didn't have it i feel like they all do but one thing he missed is the storage box under the rear mat which you can put your chicken wings in there you can put your beverages in there great if you're out on the trail for a day very nice and then you have your mole uh straps here on the back of the seat for all your tactical gear if you want to do tactical things in your t-rex you guys can get a tour of the truck anywhere that's a pretty quick rundown of it i love it i really do i love all the little touches they just you know they make you feel like like i said they make you feel like it's a special truck i'm not gonna go through every little detail every little quirking feature here but it's it's an amazing truck i really love i mean let me tell you this i've been in a lot of trucks a lot of cars and this is my favorite interior to date by far like not even close i would rather be in here than any other truck i've ever been in and if i had to choose a truck for a road trip this would be the one 93 grand let me show you the window sticker real quick here and my favorite part of this little document this vehicle was built especially for street speed 717. that's me that's just i love that base price 69999 you got your customer preferred package 29y that's a grand trailer tow group 195 advanced safety group 9.95 bed utility group i'm sure that's the bed liner and the uh brackets for a cover back there 845 trx carbon fiber package i'm guessing all of this stuff which i think you should get that was 12.95 trx level 2 equipment group that was the big one 8k for that and that includes your leather trimmed bucket seats ventilated front seats wrapped driver and passenger door handle assists right there little leather on that plastic handle luxury luxury front door trim panel i guess that this is the luxury panel here i'm not even sure what that means premium upgraded floor console uh i don't know what that is there's a lot of stuff in that group it goes all the way from here everything that you see there i mean a lot of stuff heated back seats blind spot all that stuff so i think you do you do want to get that and quite frankly if you're buying an 80 000 truck i don't think 7 900 is going to be that big of a deal if you're buying it if you're buying a raptor trx i doubt that you're like penny pinching so i think you should get that it includes a lot of stuff 60 40 bench 1400 trx red interior accents 1400 panoramic roof 9.95 that's a great deal 900 bucks for that you want that for sure rock rails what is that rock rails 895 19 speaker harman kardon sound system 1100 bed mounted tire carrier 995 trailer reverse steering control 495 and then the ram bar by mopar the mopar ram bar is 1895 so you can look like chuck norris in walker texas ranger anyway that's all fun and then your destination charge with that your total is 93 595. now this truck is fully loaded i don't think you can even get anything more except maybe the bead locks but this is this is about as expensive as you'll see a trx looks like a lot it is a lot but they only get cheaper from here so if you don't want to spend at 93 you can get one for a little bit less but i do like having all the options it's silly it's silly what do you think of the the trx i love it the screen is so cool it's like a tesla yeah the against the earth i don't know i think the iris is going to take it but it will be it should be like kind of close i feel like it'll be close and the fact that we're even saying that that a ram pickup truck is going to be potentially as fast as a 200 000 lamborghini earth that dodge ram babe it's totally in half wow the second i got beat by your stupid car what the aventador oh my god i'm so mad
