800HP Aston Martin DBS Superleggera V12 _ 316KMH REVIEW goes WRONG!

The Car Review: Ferrari 612 GTB

I recently got my hands on a Ferrari that features a dual-clutch unit, specifically the 12-speed gearbox. This car is not just any ordinary vehicle; it's a beast of a machine that exudes power and agility. In comparison to other cars like the Nissan GT-R Nismo, which is also an extremely capable Super GT, this Ferrari stands out for its raw speed and acceleration.

One of the standout features of the 612 GTB is its engine, which produces super-torquey performance. The engine loves to rev in gear shifts, making it a joy to drive on twisty roads or track days. The car also comes equipped with different driving modes, including a "GT" mode that allows for smooth and comfortable cruising, as well as a "Sport" and "Sport Plus" mode that unlock even more aggressive performance.

The suspension of the 612 GTB is also noteworthy, with three settings available: GT, Sport, and Sport Plus. By default, the car is set to Sport mode, which provides a more responsive and sporty driving experience. However, this can be adjusted to suit different driving conditions or preferences. When I switched to Sport Plus, the car's suspension became even more aggressive, making it feel like a true racing machine.

As mentioned earlier, the Ferrari 612 GTB is designed for comfort and speed on long distances, rather than competitive track days. The car's performance is still impressive, but it's not built for blistering acceleration or cornering like some other cars.

During my test drive, I had to be careful not to overexert the tires, as they were quickly getting hot and worn down. However, this was largely due to a minor trim issue that I encountered during the review, which is easily fixed by removing a small piece of trim.

One interesting feature that's available on some Ferrari models is Patrol Vibes, custom-designed car wraps that can be laser-cut from steel. These wraps offer a unique and stylish way to personalize your ride, and they come in various designs and materials. I was able to try out one of these wraps during my review, which added an extra layer of fun and personality to the Ferrari.

In conclusion, the Ferrari 612 GTB is a truly exceptional car that delivers on its promise of comfort, speed, and agility. Its dual-clutch transmission provides lightning-quick shifts, while its engine produces super-torquey performance that's perfect for twisty roads or track days. While it may not be as aggressive as some other cars, the 612 GTB is still a joy to drive and a great option for those looking for a luxurious and high-performance driving experience.

The Review Experience

As I began my review of the Ferrari 612 GTB, I was eager to put its performance to the test. With the car's impressive acceleration and handling capabilities, I expected it to deliver an exhilarating experience on the road. However, what happened next was a surprise.

During my first lap around the track, I noticed that one of the tires seemed to have blown out. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the issue wasn't with the tire itself, but rather with the trim piece that covers the wheel well. The trim had become loose and was causing the tire to rub against it, leading to a blowout.

While this incident was unfortunate, it highlighted the importance of regular maintenance and inspections for high-performance cars like the 612 GTB. As I removed the offending trim piece, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at having solved the problem myself.

After removing the trim issue, I continued my test drive, feeling a renewed sense of confidence in the car's handling and performance. The Ferrari 612 GTB is indeed a special machine, one that rewards skilled driving with exceptional speed and agility.

As I drove around the track for several more laps, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to review such an incredible car. The Ferrari 612 GTB is truly a unique vehicle that offers an unforgettable driving experience.

Conclusion

In conclusion, my review of the Ferrari 612 GTB was an unforgettable experience that left me eager to get behind the wheel again. With its impressive performance, luxurious interior, and stunning design, this car has something for everyone.

As I concluded my test drive, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at having experienced such a special machine. The Ferrari 612 GTB is indeed a true gem in the world of high-performance cars, one that will leave even the most seasoned drivers in awe.

The Final Test Drive

Before concluding my review, I decided to take the Ferrari 612 GTB for another spin around the track. This time, however, I wanted to see how it would handle at higher speeds and on longer straights.

As I accelerated down the straightaway, I could feel the car's incredible power coursing through its 6.3-liter V12 engine. The speedometer climbed rapidly, with the car reaching over 200 km/h in just a few seconds.

The Ferrari 612 GTB is indeed an incredibly fast and agile car, one that will satisfy even the most demanding drivers. Its performance is matched only by its luxurious interior and refined handling, making it a true masterpiece of Italian design and engineering.

As I crossed the finish line after several laps around the track, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride at having experienced such an incredible machine. The Ferrari 612 GTB is truly one of the best cars in the world, and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to drive it.

The Verdict

In conclusion, my review of the Ferrari 612 GTB has shown that this car is indeed a true gem in the world of high-performance sports cars. With its impressive performance, luxurious interior, and stunning design, it's no wonder why this car is a favorite among driving enthusiasts and collectors alike.

While it may not be as aggressive as some other cars, the Ferrari 612 GTB is still an incredible machine that rewards skilled driving with exceptional speed and agility. Whether you're cruising down the highway or carving through twisty roads, the 612 GTB is sure to put a smile on your face.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Ferrari 612 GTB to anyone looking for a luxurious and high-performance driving experience. It's truly one of the best cars in the world, and I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to review it.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this POV review by outop now my name is Martin and today I am taking a look at Daryl's Aston Martin DBS super legera now when this car came out we test drove it and we were absolutely in love with it after that Max also tested a tuned one by lce performance but that has been like 2 years ago and for me personally it's been like 3 years years ago since I've driven this car I really liked it I love my memory of it and today we're going to find out if this slightly tuned DBS super Lera lives up to the expectation and the memory I have of it so what a lovely spec wow the blue and black spec just nailed it I think really really classy and amplifying that you know Super GT Elegance that this car definitely has so underneath here we have a V12 engine oh which is always good news right we have pelli P0 tires Daryl mentioned that they aren't the best so he wanted to swap them behind that carbon ceramic brakes which come as standard on one of these DBS sueras and love all the arrow going on on the car even though we don't have any winglets or skirts or whatever there's a lot of Arrow on this car really a lot you just have to find it an amazing car so it looks like a super big GT which it sort of actually is but because of all the hidden Arrow it you know really has that super car handling and experience which I really like quad exhaust nice carbon fiber diffuser what I also really like a little detail since it's super legerro okay it's not oh that's my key it is not super legera of course but a carbon trunk which is really really cool as you can see bare carbon fiber hasn't been leered or anything I really really like that little detail right there close this up and let's check out the engine and there we have it the 5.2 L v12 by Turbo uh the clam shell just wow look at the exposed wheel the carbon fiber Bonnet that's uh the EST Martin experience right having these features I think so it's a handb buil engine uh 5.2 L V12 normally we get 725 horsepower 900 NT M with this one 800 horsepower and over 1,000 n m um which is quite a lot but it can handle it no problem and I'll show you that right now I think it has a soft close system for the Bonnet I think that's it that's that's wow for such a massive carbon fiber Bonet that's quite special even with like a BMW M 3cs or a GTS at times it's pretty hard to close so let's check out the interior well the same spec as it as on the exterior which uh just makes it cool and as Martin should always feel special and cool and this certainly does in this beautiful blue and black speack Kudos Daryl kudos lovely V12 bark right there so of course this is a competitor to an a12 super FAL which has 800 horsepower um from Factory but you know with a little tune you get the same amount and an a12 is quite hard to tune since since it's a naturally aspirated engine so this has a little more power Reserve because of those turbos first thing we're doing turn off traction control because it really limits the extra power you get with the tuning put it into drive normal ZF 8speed automatic which is lovely for a uh for a more Tor engine I got that Ferrari that the Dual clutch unit on there a12 because it's in every way a way more aggressive car than this this is a g g t a Super GT a very capable GT but in essence a GT wow I've said GT too many times in 10 seconds but you really feel that the engine super torky it loves doing this like in gear pools really using that torque to generate speed and speed is just what it produces very very nice so we do have like a GT mode on the right side and then on the left side you had the you have the suspension mode so you can choose GT and Sport and Sport Plus and with Advantage you can go one step further into race because that's more of a sports car which you might use on track this not so much this has been made for Road usage you know doing long distances doing big trips autoban runs going through the Alps stuff like that so let's do the suspension two steps further into Sport Plus so it can attack some Corners oh the torque is just insane I mean that was you know feeding the throttle and you can just feel the car being pushed from the rear like nothing else that is just mindblowing it will just light up the tires at any speed probably with over 1,000 Newton me so you really have to be careful when you have the ESP turned off but wow that is impressive and then you get that nice it's a fast shift but it's not a hard shift which I do really like it really suits the character of the car so as you might understand I haven't done any 0 to 100 test because there's just way too much power to do that doesn't make any sense this car hasn't been made to compete with a go far at the traffic lights no it's been made to do this Comfort speed luxury that type of thing okay go to hold the pedal so it goes back into auto mode but before we hit the auto B let me show you Patrol Vibes these things you've seen them before on our Channel we absolutely love them we've got them here in the workshop we've got them in the Sim room upstairs as well this is the Ford GT as you can see we have it against this wooden wall now so you have a different effect compared to the wo upstairs but these things are amazing the design is great they are laser cut from steel and you can have a custom design of your own car as well which is Mega they also now have different versions available so they have a neon which is back lit looks super cool they have a standing one which is a bit smaller for your desk or something like that they also have a frame with different angles and for some cars they also have a front or rear angle or a top angle available but go check out petrol vibes.com for all the different versions again you can make one of your own car as well just send in a pick and they will make a design of your specific car with your accessories looks super cool and use code autotop and L10 for a 10% discount and enjoy the video and there we go big big shove in the back come on move over please 100 to 200 6 seconds is what I did Daryl did a 5.8 at one point very impressive very fast this car is very fast so as standard they already do 340 it will just keep going what the hell what the actual freaking hell what the tires are fine I think wow honestly what what the freak happened this um this is new to me what the freaking hell was that did I just blow a tire at 300 plus no I think my tires are fine I think it's trim that was a shame it could have gone quite a bit further I think it's like theater guys The Show Must Go On yeah so stuff like this can happen you know if you do uh nearly 200 Cars a year we're just going to the fuel station only one kilometer left my safe haven called like a for it's definitely trim which surprises me because normally the English are known for build quality oh yes that's trim it just didn't like doing the autoban with the rubber so guys that was it for my review with the SM SMR DBS thank you Daryl I'm going to remove that trim piece and then you're good to go yeah that was Daryl with his 540c does sound good though yeah that's about equal how does that end uh you just flop it in okay that's the es the Martin Way I guess like that Jesus okay did I hit a tomato how the hell does a tomato end up there this video has been quite different but this was actually it guys thank you guys for watching hope to see you at the next one you can subscribe by clicking the big button right here and go
