now when you buy a car you are obligated to register the car and pay sales tax if applicable the reason I say that Oregon Alaska Montana don't have sales tax however I live in the state of Utah we have sales tax when you buy a car you are given a grace period and this is my grace period Pennsylvania 60-day temporary in transit permit that expires on January 17th of 2023. I bought the Corvette Z06 in Pennsylvania in the middle of November and I was given a 60-day grace period AKA time to procrastinate now when I registered the car I waited until the absolute last minute to do it I went to the Utah DMV about 30 minutes that way I registered the car and I paid Utah state sales tax which I'm about to prove to you now when I did that I made a very nice lady there at the DMV and she told me it was going to take approximately six weeks for me to get the title to the card that means as I'm standing right here next to this Corvette Z06 I do not have the title in my possession it is currently being processed by the Utah DMV however the car is being sold through post performance which is a licensed dealer in the state of Utah legally we have 45 days post performance has 45 days to get the title to the new buyer of the car which means we are not doing anything illegal there is no floating the title I have paid Utah sales tax I procrastinated that's why
