OFFICIAL Beats Executive Review

**Unboxing and First Impressions**

Upon taking a closer look at the right side of these headphones, we can see that it powers them on. One of my biggest gripes with these headphones is that without batteries, they will not operate. Unfortunately, this is one of the common issues I've noticed with studios and even carries over to executives in terms of design.

Moving on to the left side, you'll find the latch that opens the door to the battery compartment. What's cool about this compartment is that it uses magnets instead of twisting to be closed. The outside of the air cups feature a nice leather finish around the earbuds, which is typically red but is gray in the case of the executives. The be on the left side also works as a mute button for your music.

**Design and Build Quality**

As we move up the headphones, you'll notice that it says "Beats" at the top instead of the normal "Beats by Dr. Dre". The band is very soft on the outside but becomes sturdy when pressed onto it, providing great comfort for long listening sessions. These are over-ear headphones, so the ear cups will completely circle your ears inside. They're made of the same soft material as the band, ensuring a comfortable fit.

One thing that might cause some discomfort to some is the portion of the driver that protrudes slightly. However, it hasn't bothered me at all due to the high-quality aluminum material used in these headphones. The ear cups won't clank against the actual headphones or each other thanks to a nice little material strip that stops it.

**Sound Quality**

The sound quality of these headphones is what you'd expect from them as an average consumer. They sounded great to me, offering excellent clarity and some great bass. However, I must say I'm not pleased with the active noise cancelling feature. The headphones produce a loud hissing sound once turned on, which can sometimes carry over into the music.

In my opinion, this is quite a bother at times as it can be distracting. As someone used to hearing the hiss from noise-cancelling headphones without music, this was too loud for me. Don't get me wrong; these headphones have great sound quality overall, but the active noise cancelling needs improvement.

**Sound Leakage and Isolation**

The bass is still prominent in these headphones, but it's a bit more reserved compared to the Basse of the Studios. I believe this is part of the executive theme and not wanting attention-drawing sound to be too loud. Speaking of sound leakage, these headphones do quite well. A colleague of mine tested them on a train at 50% volume, 75% volume, and 100% volume, and she only slightly heard the music at 100%.

**Overall Impression**

These headphones are a nice-looking pair, very comfortable, and offer excellent sound quality. However, I do wish that it came with a black cable instead of the red one; it doesn't quite fit with the gray aluminum look they're going for. Overall, though, I'm very pleased with these headphones, especially considering their comfort and build quality.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's going on everyone it's your average consumer and today I have a review for you guys of the Beats By Dre Executives so let's not waste any time let's get right into it and here we have the Beats Executives right off the bat it's easy to see that these are the classiest looking pair of headphones that Beats by Dre has come out with but before we get into that let's talk about the case they come in here we have the hard shell car in case of the executives it's got a pretty simple flat rectangular design and as we give it a look around we can see that it has some of the same accents that the other beats carrying cases have such as the red lining for the zipper it's also got a matte finish that looks and feels pretty nice although it can get some fingerprints as you can see on the back there it's a similar case to the studios but it has a much flatter design but I'm pretty sure that's due to the executive branding and here's a quick example of why that might matter Beats by Dre seems to be targeting the more adult crowd with these headphones and the way you carry them seems to be a factor as well as you can see here these fit quite nicely into my work bag I can seamlessly carry it without the excess bulk some other cases might produce and here you'll see how bulky the carrying case of the studios will make my work bag look bees by Dre definitely seem like they're trying to cater to the older crowd AKA Executives with the design design of these headphones in case when we get a look inside the case we're greeted by an awkwardly placed pair of Executives I'm a fan of the overall design and look of the case but I do have my gripes with it as well the case doesn't have a pouch anywhere on it to store your headphone cables so there'll always be pretty loose inside also because of the flat design you'll have to place the headphones in a not so convenient way luckily there's a little diagram inside to always remind you of how you need to replace it the hard shell does offer some good protection though so I can't be too mad at that and now the star of the show as I mentioned before the executives are the classiest pair of headphones that beats has released so far as they're supposed to cater to the adult crowd you won't find any flashy red here let's take a closer look at the right side of these headphones at the
