My Top 10 Favorite Harry Potter Characters

As you can tell, today is going to be a Harry Potter related video, and it's going to be my top 10 favorite Harry Potter characters. I've got a few things to say about this list, but first let me just say that it was really hard narrowing down these characters to just ten. There are so many amazing characters in the Harry Potter series, and each one has their own unique qualities that make them special.

First up is my personal favorite Hogwarts professor, Professor McGonagall. I've always pronounced it "mog-gal," but some people might call it differently. She's just a really strong and supportive character who always looks out for the good of others. I think she would have made a great guardian for me when I was growing up.

Coming in at number four is our favorite lovable giant, Hagrid. Hagrid is one of those characters that everyone loves, but he's also an incredibly complex and nuanced person. He's always been there for Harry and Ron, even when things seemed hopeless. And let's be real, who wouldn't want a giant as a friend?

At number three is Neville Longbottom, the quintessential "Geek to Hero" guy. I won't tell you why or what makes him so special, but trust me when I say that he gets it done. He's just an amazing character with a great story to tell.

Moving on to number two, I'm combining two characters into one because... well, let's just say I broke the rules. At number two is Arthur Weasley and Molly Weasley, the Weasley parents. These two are basically Harry's surrogate parents, and they've always been there for him when he needed them most. They're just so supportive and loving, and I think they would have made amazing parents.

At number five is my personal favorite Hogwarts professor... well, I'm not going to say his name yet because that would spoil everything. Let's just say this character has a really compelling story arc and is definitely one of the most complex characters in the series.

Coming in at number four is our favorite lovable giant... no, wait, I already said that! At number four is actually Rubeus Hagrid again, because I couldn't decide between him and someone else. Anyway, what I was going to say about Hagrid applies here as well: he's just a really amazing character with a lot of depth.

Now we're at number three, which is... you guessed it! Another Hagrid sighting. But no, seriously, this time it's actually Neville Longbottom again. He's just such an underdog and yet so lovable, and I think his story is really inspiring.

At number two, I'm going to combine the Weasley parents with someone else because, well... let's just say they're not as great as everyone thinks they are. At number two is actually Arthur Weasley again, because he deserves more love than Molly probably gets. But seriously, both of these characters are so important to Harry's development and would have made amazing parents.

Finally, at number one, I'm going to say who my absolute favorite character in the series is... but that would spoil everything, wouldn't it? Let's just say this character has a really compelling story arc and is definitely one of the most complex characters in the series. But honestly, if you're reading this, you probably already know who it is.

Of course, there are always other characters that I should have mentioned, like Hedwig, Sirius, or even Umbridge (who's actually pretty great once you get to know her). But narrowing down these top ten was just really hard. There are so many amazing characters in the Harry Potter series, and each one has their own unique qualities that make them special.

because I'm making a little bit of a recipe I won't tell you what it is but it's going to be delicious now keep in mind on this list I'm not including Harry Ron Hermione nor Dumbledore because I feel like those are like the four favorite that's everybody's favorites including my own and I was like I'm going to shake things up a little bit and try to use some Maybe not not F they're all favorite characters in my opinion but they're not talked about maybe a lot maybe they are and I just don't hear about it but I just wanted to keep like the main players off the table and try to do something a little bit different try to keep this as spoiler-free as possible so if I don't mention something about a particular character certain attributes about them it's because maybe somebody's have maybe somebody has not read the Harry Potter books and I don't want to spoil the book for them so if you're like she didn't mention that he or she was a fill in the blank it's because I don't want to spoil you okay so I'm looking out for you also keep in mind my 10 favorite may not be your 10 favorite everyone has different favorites everyone has all that kind of stuff so don't be offended if your favorite character isn't on this list and all that stuff you know I still trust me when I say I love usually every Harry Potter character there is these are just my top 10 that are particularly my favorite anyway let's get on to my top 10 in at number 10 I'm combining them as one because whatever are Fred and George Weasley because they're just the Weasley twins who doesn't love the Weasley twins they provide a much um needed comic relief throughout the books and they're just awesome and they're also very strong characters and I love them they're hilarious but you know that you can count on them at the end of each and every day coming in at number nine is our favorite house elf of all time is Dobby there's a Doby I Doby Dobby I I can't tell you which one I pronounce more I just switch but he is the most lovable house elf in the world and you just want to scoop him up in your arms and and like hold him because he's just the sweetest nicest house elf even though when we were introduced to him in Chamber of Secrets you were like get out of here you weirdo but you grew on to love him as much as anybody could love a house elf coming in at number eight is a villain and that's going to be belatrix L strange hopefully they pronouncing that right yes I'm including a villain on this list because she was an awesome villain belri L strin was that psycho psycho like crazy one that you don't ever want knocking on your door and you know for that I think the actress that played her Helen boam Carter that's it she did an amazing L strange and I just love L strange I love reading about her and I would love like if JK Roland like did a series on just her villains of like Harry Potter just to see like Back stories and all that kind of stuff oh my gosh that would be amazing because Z strange is just an awesome villain in my opinion number seven is Reis Lupin I love Lupin I am a huge supporter of Lupin because I really feel like he's not a lot of people's favorites because he's just kind of he's the kind of strong character that's just in the background that you know that's there that's going to support you that's going to help you that's going to just Build You Up and he just doesn't get talked much talked as much about as sirious black I think but I love Lupin I just I love Remis Lupin I think he is a phenomenal character coming in at number six is our favorite weirdo Luna love good I love Luna I really wish she was in the books more because she was just so eccentric and quarky and I just I was all about that like even when I was talking to my husband husband like what are some of his favorite cures and he was like Luna love good and I'm like that's awesome she is amazing I just really wish she would have been in more books man that would have been really cool cuz we all need a little bit more Luna love good in our lives am I right coming in at number five is my personal favorite Hogwarts professor professor m gal if I said that right I've always pronounced it that way Professor mogle is that really harsh like Aunt to me but she's just really strong and is always looking out for the good of others and she's always going to be there and she's just awesome in my opinion I love Professor mogal like I would love to like have her like be like my guardian or something cuz she would always be like I can't think of a spell but she's awesome at at number four is our favorite lovable giant man hagri which I love Hagrid Hagrid's one of the I think I think a lot of people love Hagrid but Hagrid is just so awesome like he's the the the huge giant that's just a big cuddly bear in my opinion like he is just an amazing character he's always been there for Harry and Ron hermane he's always done the right thing and I just love Hagrid I think he is awesome and I would have loved to see more of him as well I think he was in the books quite a lot you know since I'm rereading them I I don't know that quite yet but I would love to see more of Hagrid as well well at number three is Neville long bottom Neville long bottom is like the qu essential like from Geek to Hero guy I won't tell you why or anything like that but Neville long bum gets it done like he is awesome and you know what in the movies he looks like um really big kind of geek and Weirdo And they made him like that in real life have you seen him like holy crap n long bottom can I call you like is that okay cuzz I would love to talk to you but anyway Neville long bottom is just amazing like he's just a great character great friend and you know like I said from Geek to Hero awesome coming in at number two I'm Comming two in one because I Break The Rules is Authur and Molly Weasley I love the Weasley parents I really feel like they are a very quit essential part of the Harry Potter books I feel like they are the backbone almost because they are just they you know were Harry's they were pretty much like Harry's parents you know when he didn't have parents he helped not well raise him but helped guide him they've always been there for him they've always supported them and I really love Arthur Weasley because I don't think Authur Weasley gets talked about as much as Molly Weasley because Molly's just the backbone's always there Authur is also very strong confident he you know listens to them he helps guide them I think he's just a great father figure and Molly's a great mother figure I just love the Weasley like I would love to adopt them for a week and just let them be my parents for a week to like show me all the things guys coming in at number one in my top 10 is going to be Seas Snape hopefully I said his first name right but let's just say Snape I'm not going to tell you why Snape is my favorite character because I'm not going to spoil anything I'm not going to say anything but let's just say Snape is my like like my ultimate favorite Harry Potter character is definitely Hermione Granger I'm not going to lie but right behind that I think is Snape and there's a multitude of reasons I don't want to spoil it for you but I just love Snape and I love the way his story his story arc was written and I was just it was just amazing and yeah so that was my top 10 favorite Harry Potter characters of course there's always others you know that I should have mentioned like Hedwig Sirius and Umbridge a whole bunch of others like there's just so many characters that you can just talk about and talk about and talk about because they're amazing but it was very hard narrowing down these top 10 so I hope you enjoyed them and
