Introduction to DailyIfix: Unlocking the Power of iOS 5 with Any Lock App

Hello and welcome back to DailyIfix, I'm Brandon here to show you an awesome Cydia tweak that's really useful if you're not a big camera user but need to see your emails all the time immediately when the notification center isn't working out for you or maybe you're really into a game and always go on your iPhone just to play that. This tweak is called Any Lock App, and it allows you to open any application from the little um camera button on your lock screen.

Getting Started with Any Lock App

If you have iOS 5 and are jailbroken, you can find Any Lock App in the Big Boss repo for free. To get started, simply search for "any lock" in Cydia, and it should appear right away. You'll see a little screenshot of the tweak, which shows the settings application where you can customize your experience.

Using Any Lock App

When you open up the Any Lock App, you'll see an option to hit "open app." This is where you choose the app you want to pick to open up on your lock screen. You can select from a variety of applications, including social media, games, and more. One of the features I find particularly useful is the ability to turn off the camera icon and show only the Winterboard button. With this tweak, you don't have to respring or restart anything after making these changes.

app you want to pick to open up so let me change this from ESPN Fantasy Football to let's open up let's open up um let's open something besides an app like that let's open up the let's open up winterboard so we have winterboard check now and I'm going to go back you can see uh at first you saw it was showed the camera I'm going to turn that off turn that off so that you will see the winterboard button actually on the lock screen now so there you go you don't have to respring or anything after doing that and as you see it is a winterboard icon you can go and click on that and it will open up winterboard right away again you don't need to you don't need a respring or anything after selecting those options which is which is always nice so let just go and show you how to get this you're going to open up Cydia it will be under the big boss repo for free you're just going to search always oops just let it refresh our uh stuff wa it's not always it's any any lock just search any lock and you will see it right there any lock app it is version 1.0 obviously you have to have ios5 and you have to be jailbroken for this obviously and as you see right there it'll show you a
