Microsoft's Inside Xbox Show brought some exciting news for gamers, particularly those who are fans of the iconic Master Chief series. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is finally coming to PC, and it's going to be available on both Steam and the Microsoft Store. This is a significant development, as it marks the first time that the collection will be made available on non-Xbox platforms.
The Master Chief Collection, which includes the original Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 3: ODST, will feature PC enhancements such as 4K HDR. This means that fans of the series can expect to see improved graphics and a more immersive gaming experience on their PCs. The collection will also include Halo: Reach, which was previously only available on Xbox consoles.
One of the most interesting features of the Master Chief Collection's PC release is the inclusion of a long display that can be curled up in one direction and wrapped around the user's wrist like a bracelet. This is made possible by magnets embedded in both ends of the smartphone, which prevent it from rolling up accidentally. The patent also includes a lock feature that allows users to secure their phone when it's in bracelet form.
Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've seen this technology. TCL is also working on a similar device, and while some fans may be disappointed by the lack of innovation, others may see this as an exciting new development in smartphone design.
In other gaming news, Samsung has filed a patent for a foldable smartphone with a long display that can be wrapped around the user's wrist. The phone is designed to be worn like a bracelet, and it includes features such as a lock mechanism to prevent it from rolling up accidentally. The display is made possible by magnets embedded in both ends of the smartphone.
While this technology may seem gimmicky at first, some fans of Samsung devices may see it as an exciting new development. However, it's worth noting that we've seen similar designs before, and it remains to be seen whether this will become a mainstream feature in smartphones.
The article concludes with a plug for Bookmark, a website builder that can create professional ecommerce websites in under two minutes using artificial intelligence design assistance. that we already knew was coming and they're they will announce their brand new streaming service their Netflix competitor Tim Cook flicks that's whole I'd they're not gonna call it that but analysts seem to think that it's gonna do pretty damn well in fact to analysts in particular from the investment firm Wedbush they believe that within just a few years this new streaming service from Apple will get around 100 million paying subscribers in fact they said it would be a realistic medium-term goal so they believe that within three to five years 100 million paying subscribers uh no of course not so let's use Netflix as an example they have like 140 million active subscribers like close to a hundred and fifty million active subscribers and that's without a lot of time under their belt not just time but also experience infrastructure originals also licensing but the thing that has saved Netflix time and time again is their ability to adapt we're talking about the same company that was just shipping DVDs for a while obviously that's not anymore streaming is a thing and when licensing for some major content started to fall through they just made their own shape they made their own shows the originals like their first original house of cards was mind-blowing ly good yeah thanks for ruining that Kevin Spacey you're right Frank Netflix has had a lot of time to get things right three to five years though for Apple that is not that is not enough time and they have a lot to prove Netflix was a pioneer in the space Apple is just like Walt Finn on in Apple's doing this because they need services to do well because smartphone sales just ain't cutting it anymore listen I'm not saying that it's gonna be all bad or that it's gonna tank I just think that a hundred million paid subscribers within three to five years it's not in fact realistic I think you should probably pick a different number for that what Apple does have on their side though is time and is money they can afford a few hiccups a few hurdles along the way they can afford to frack this up like one or two times this service just like Apple music like Apple music was not new to the space when they introduced it they had a lot of competition but they have what a lot of the competition does not have hardware Apple can just put their own services natively on these devices and instantly they have an audience that the others didn't have to begin with we're talking about the difference of an average consumer deciding oh I'm gonna go ahead and go download netflix and them just having Apple TV service streaming 9000 whatever it's gonna be called already on their device that was the secret tap of music that is why Apple music worked it was just more convenient it's right there Apple put it on your device and in your face so there you go that's gonna be the real reason why this Apple TV streaming service 9,000 thing does well or gains any traction at all it doesn't even have to be great it just has to be good enough and already on your device and it'll do all right 130 inactive users though no halo let's talk about hallo the Master Chief collection that's right it's from page long-ass display that can like curl in one direction and wrap around your wrist like those bracelets that you over those call you each slap them you slap them on your wrist and they just become a bracelet oh ok so as far as the patent goes it includes like a lock that would prevent the phone from rolling up accidentally so once you like unbrace lit it you can log it to make sure it doesn't become bracelet also according to the patent both ends of the smartphone have like magnets inside so when it is like a bracelet on your wrist the magnets will attract to each other that will make sure
