Lenovo K3 Note Gaming Review with Popular Games

**Asphalt 8 Gameplay and Performance Review on Lenovo K3 Note**

I recently had the opportunity to test the performance of the Lenovo K3 Note in playing popular mobile games, specifically Asphalt 8. I set the graphics settings to medium and opted for on-screen steering, which allowed me to focus on observing the device's behavior during gameplay.

**Asphalt 8 Experience**

The game itself was a bit of a mixed bag. While it ran smoothly at times, I noticed several instances of frame drops, particularly when performing sharp turns or drifting. The lag was noticeable enough that it sometimes felt like the device was struggling to keep up with the demands of the game. Despite these issues, the screen quality remained excellent, even if it did exhibit some minor issues with fingerprints.

One notable aspect of my Asphalt 8 experience on the Lenovo K3 Note was its responsiveness. While the game's performance was decent at times, I found that the lag became more pronounced as the level progressed. The device seemed to be putting a significant strain on the GPU, which may have contributed to the drop frames and lag. As you can see in the video footage, the lag becomes increasingly noticeable as the game reaches its climax.

**Temperature Readings**

To get a better understanding of the device's temperature behavior during gameplay, I took some temperature readings using the Lenovo K3 Note's built-in thermometer. The results were quite interesting, to say the least. In both cases where the game was running at medium graphics settings, the temperatures around the screen and back of the device remained remarkably consistent, hovering around 43°C.

However, it's worth noting that these measurements were taken in an air-conditioned environment, which may not accurately reflect real-world conditions. If you plan to use the Lenovo K3 Note for extended periods of gaming or other resource-intensive activities, it's essential to consider the potential temperature increases that may occur when playing in a non-air-conditioned space.

**Conclusion on Asphalt 8 Performance**

Overall, my experience with Asphalt 8 on the Lenovo K3 Note was a mixed bag. While the device ran the game at medium graphics settings without any issues for most of it, there were several instances of frame drops and lag that detracted from the overall gaming experience. It's not uncommon for mobile devices to exhibit these kinds of performance issues when playing demanding games like Asphalt 8.

In terms of heat management, I found that the Lenovo K3 Note did generate significant amounts of heat during gameplay, particularly in the areas around the screen and back of the device. While this may not be a cause for concern in itself, it's an essential aspect to consider when choosing a mobile device for gaming or other resource-intensive activities.

**Comparison with Other Devices**

For comparison's sake, I also had the opportunity to run Asphalt 8 on the Lenovo A6000 Plus and Lenovo A7000. While both of these devices ran the game more smoothly than the Lenovo K3 Note, they did exhibit slightly lower frame rates at times. This suggests that the K3 Note may be struggling with certain aspects of its hardware or software configuration.

**Future Review and Gaming Experience**

Finally, I'll be posting a full in-depth review of the Lenovo K3 Note in the coming days, which will include more detailed observations on its gaming performance, heat management, and other features. If you're considering purchasing this device for mobile gaming, I encourage you to stay tuned to my channel for further updates and insights.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and I have this Lenovo K3 note and in this video we'll be doing the gaming review with this device and before we start the gaming let me quickly give you a configuration overview using the CPU Z app and uh as you can see it is parted by a mediatech uh processor that's a 8 core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz and the GPU is the Mali 760 GPU and the highlighting thing about this device is that it supports a full HD that's a 10 0p screen which is a 5.5 in screen and the battery is a 2,900 mAh battery and these are the sensors so Lenovo hasn't skipped on important sensors all the important sensors are there on the revise so let's just get out and uh let me kill all the apps and as you can see uh right now it says about 776 MB is available for free uh and it says Ram was optimized so nothing nothing is running so let's start the gaming and we'll start with the Casual game called Dead Trigger 2 and then move on to heavy games so this is Dead Trigger 2 and the speaker is okay but not very loud but it's not like bad also it's certainly not uh that loud uh the Lenovo a6000 plus had a much more powerful speaker I feel what do we have here and we have a lot of action again as you can see uh it's handling it very well no issues as of now thanks so we have a lot of action and still it's handling it fine um so looks like uh for Dead Trigger it'll be fine so it's playing this dead trigger fine uh so let's move out of this game and move to other games uh so let's just get out of this one and we'll also check the temperature after playing a a few more games for example let's try asphal 8 now so this is asphal 8 let me show you the graphic settings by default uh actually it was at the high graphics setting but uh the game was lagging a lot dropping a lot of frames at the high graphic settings so have kept it to medium and I'll be using the on screen steering so let's play a few levels on this asphal 8 so this is asphal 8 and I'm using this on screen steering and I noticed quite a few frame drops even at this uh what do you say medium graphic settings uh but the screen quality is very good that's the highlighting point about this uh K3 node it has that 1080p uh what do you say screen and it's IPS grade screen so even the viewing angles are nice but one thing I have noticed is that the screen is a fingerprint magnet looks like it does not have any hhobd to wipe it every 30 40 minutes if you play games and in terms of handling I would say it's fine at this medium graphic setting but but yes there are some minor frame drops at times as you can see when I do the drift Etc there is some frame drops again as you can see it's lagging there so yes there is some lag at times so at least with this on screen steering uh I notice quite a bit of lag even at this medium Graphics setting and uh as you can see now the lag has actually increased in fact I would say the Lenovo a7000 and even the Lenovo a6000 plus uh did play this game a lot better looks like the 1080p screen is putting a lot of pressure on the GPU as this level is progressing I'm noticing that uh the drop frames have increased quite a bit now and uh as you can see the lag is there quite a bit of drop frames so at least for aspa eight even at this medium Graphics setting uh I would say there are quite a few drop frames that I'm noticing as you can see and the level is done and it's been just about 9 and 1/2 minutes since we were gaming so let's look at the temperatures and again as you can see it's around 43° C here near the screen at the top of the screen it's about 43 near the GE piece again 42.6 let's look at the back and here also again about 43° C uh and again guys do note that I'm in an AC room uh so if you are playing in a non-ac room the temperatures would go even slightly higher than this uh this area I feel like it's getting a little bit uh warm with the heavy games but let's continue let's get out of this one uh so asphal it was not as smooth as I wish let's try Noah 3 and see how it handles so this is Noah 3 and for the most part I would say it just playing it then watch out St let enem left Commander so this level is done so let's just move and uh uh it'll load uh but let's look at the temperatures it's been 2 3 minutes since we playing again about 43° C uh the screen is becoming a little bit hot nice one and on the back again uh about 43° C let's continue so with NOA 3 I noticed that this part is getting a little bit warm and this NOA 3 is a pretty demanding game I would say CH in position so it's playing it fine but there this minor uh lag at times uh so let's look at the temperatures because it's been almost about 15 minutes now since we were gaming and as you can see it's touching around the 43.7 de uh celius Mark and here again at the back uh it's about uh the 43° cus Mark so let's just get out of this one uh so what do I feel about the gaming with this Lenovo K3 note as you have seen uh it could play many of the games oops what happened anyways let me swipe that off uh it could play many of the games uh for example the Dead Trigger to ran fine without any issues but with Asphalt 8 yes I did notice quite a bit of lagging uh drop frames even at the medium Graphics settings uh and even in Nova for the most part it ran it fine but yes there was a minor lag at times uh so I would say it is okay for gaming but again don't expect very high level of gaming uh there might be some drop frames with some heavy gam so you got to be aware of that also in terms of heating I wouldn't say it's really really bad but again yes it can heat up and go up to 43° C to again remember guys this is an AC environment so in a non-ac environment the temperature might go up uh 2 3° more I'll also be posting the full in-depth review for this Lenovo K3 note very soon so stay tuned to my channel thanks for watching this is ranit and I hope to see you in my next
