**Testing the Pseudotech SD-800 Microphone and Galaxy Light Gadget**
I've been trying noise reduction techniques, but unfortunately, it hasn't worked for me so far. However, I was lucky to have a second microphone that's an amazing one, which I'm excited to show you now. This is the pseudotech SD-800, a lot of my viewers have already bought it, and there's a reason why it sounds amazing.
The pseudotech st800 is similar to this one, but with some slight differences. It's a basic microphone that's tiny yet decent in terms of audio quality. I've put it into my setup, which includes a USB interface connected to my PC. Now, I haven't heard them before, so I'd love for you to share your thoughts - which one of these microphones do you like more? Your feedback will help me in the future to suggest the best mic to people who are looking for it.
**Galaxy Light Gadget**
The next gadget that's not only amazing for its functionality but also its looks is the Galaxy Light. I've had this in my galaxy streaming setup, and I wanted to give it a separate feature because it's just so cool. The main reason I think this is awesome is because it adds an extra layer of RGB goodness to your stream. If you're looking to create a mesmerizing galaxy ceiling or wall effect, this projector is perfect for that.
However, if you're not into those type of lights like me, this thing is still super cool as a prop in your setup or on a shelf in the background of your stream. What I love about it is that it's actually big and impressive, unlike some other cheap gadgets you might find on Amazon that look great but turn out to be tiny when they arrive.
**Testing the Galaxy Light Gadget**
I got my hands on this gadget without batteries, so I plugged in a phone USB charger to power it up. As soon as I turned it on, I was amazed by its performance - it actually works! When I placed it under a cold coffee cup, it stayed hot for a while and even had a little taste test feature that surprised me.
The Galaxy Light has three buttons on the backpack, but what's cool is that you can also use a remote to control it. The remote is lightweight and looks sleek, and it powers off after four hours automatically. To cycle through all the stun effects, I simply pressed the right button, and as you can see, it starts changing colors and patterns.
After using the remote, I realized that it works just like the buttons on the backpack - if you don't have triple A batteries, you can still use the remote to control the gadget. Overall, I'm really impressed with this gadget's performance and design. If you're looking for cool gadgets to enhance your streaming setup or simply want something interesting to add to your background, this is a great option.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwelcome to cool tech for streamers under 50 episode 2. the first product is a great find i did in my wish.com streaming setup video now i'm not sure if many people are aware of this but lighting makes an incredible difference as you can see in this example the before and after are like night and day and the cheaper the webcam or camera the bigger the difference will be with lights and it turns out that this lighting kit costs about the same as one other led light however it has two of them it includes stunts and if i remember correctly they were extremely bright it also included some color panels i will go over them in a bit the stands were pretty basic these come in a lot of kits that come from china so we've got two of them and then the stands of them as we found out in my wish.com video they are actually selfie sticks this is something that happens a lot in these cheaper kits it's cheaper for them to find a selfie stick from a factory nearby compared to making their own custom stand i'm gonna put this one over here and another way you can also see that they just put stuff in a box so that you have whatever you need without them needing to make something custom as you can see this is a ball head and it moves in all directions it is to put the light on top of it and the name somewhere however the selfie sticks already have something like that you can then connect the light on top of it and then you can attach the stand to the bottom of the selfie stick so this is the whole package it's the light the ball head the selfie stick and the stand there's a controller in the middle we'll go over that in a bit and then the other side is just the usb plug so let's say i want to use these lights instead of the elgato key light over there i'll quickly plug it in the pc here now i can just use the remote they give to turn on and of the light now as you will see when i remove this piece of plastic here it's actually just a panel with a bunch of led lights it is stronger if you don't use this diffuser panel however if you want the light to look smooth on your face you will definitely need to use this you can then loosen the ball head position it towards your face and if the light is too low which it is right now then you can give the stop a little turn extend it a bit tighten it again and that will be much higher this is too high this is perfect now on the remote there are two extra buttons you can make the light increasingly strong and the maximum brightness will be more than enough for streaming it's actually pretty powerful light and it's crazy that for this price you're getting two of them the light is also very tall as you can see let's make this a bit shorter i could just put the second one over here then as i've mentioned before they also come with these color filters and this could be used to decorate your background so let's say your camera is over there and this is the wall behind you you could put this light to the maximum brightness and then aim it at the wall and as you can see it definitely colors it so this is an amazing kit for the price and as i've shown you before the difference without or with lighting is crazy so if you don't have lights i definitely recommend these now before we go on i want to thank the sponsor of today's video which is owned pro owned pro is a free plugin for obs studio that will give your stream a professional look with a single click you can install one of the five fully animated and completely free overlay packs with a bunch of scenes already set up they also let you easily import your twitch alerts your stream's chat and your labels there's also a chatbot to set up with basic commands moderation timers and giveaways there's a countdown timer and there's 30 minutes of free epidemic sound music to test it out with a premium account you get access to their whole library of over 400 fully animated graphic packs in any theme imaginable and if you decide to upgrade with my code tvn you can slice 50 of the price the longer you subscribe for the cheaper it gets and together with my code that's three months of having all these graphics for only five dollars per month the link will be on the screen and in my description next i have a gadget that i was really looking forward to testing and it's a very affordable full-fledged smart switch now gamers and definitely streamers are generally very interested in smart home stuff one of the reasons for this could be that lots of streamers have macro devices not always and i got the stream deck because this is pretty costly but for example if you have a stream deck there's a possibility you connected your lights to this the elgato key lights integrate with the stream deck and even though it's switched like this which we're gonna install in my room in a second even though this has a lot of uses one of them could be that if you have a button to start or stop streaming usually you will also want to turn off your room light just like i did before filming i turned on my light there and then i turned off my room light however with a smart switch like this you could do this automatically you could make a button to start streaming which then automatically also turns off your room light so this here was my room light i detached it we are going to install the smart switch here by the way if you're doing this yourself definitely turn off the electricity as you can see there's nothing on here anymore now for this smart switch and apparently for a lot of them you do need four wires so the two black ones are for the normal power it's the black and the red one here however luckily our electricians also installed these two here the green yellow one is a grounding and apparently this is called a neutral wire so the reason you need this is that a smart switch always requires electricity so if you would only use these two wires here for the normal power then if you turn off the switch the switch doesn't have any power anymore however this switch always needs to be in contact with your wi-fi network because then you can control it with google with alexa with your phone anything like that so this green wire is the grounding i'm just gonna connect it over here and then it should click and then as you see on the back of the switch they say the white one is the neutral wire so we are going to connect this to my blue neutral wire network now if you don't have these type of connections then these orange things are included and they are extremely easy to use so i need to connect these black wires to the black and then the red wire so you just put one of them in the orange thing then you add the other one to it and then you just turn the connector till you can't anymore and now both wires are sturdily connected so we do the same thing for the other one plug this one into and then just turn and then that way everything is connected so now i'm gonna turn on my electricity this is the one i turned off let's turn it on again close this thing up and now this should work so i'm gonna click it there we go and as you can see it definitely works now i think this was made for american outlets because there's no way i can put this in here so i'm just gonna let it hang here because we need to try to connect the application with the light to set it up so according to this paper they give you we need to download an application called case of smart so apparently the wi-fi light on the switch should be blinking orange and green and there's orange there's green basically what we are doing right now is setting up the switch so it can connect to my wi-fi network if i have a google assistant that assistant will be connected to my network and that way the assistant will go through my network to the switch to turn it on or off and we're gonna try so i'm gonna turn it on now there we go it connected i'm gonna turn it off and it's very quick to on off on off on off now this is very quick however the end battle is going to be connecting it to my stream next and when we go to the settings in the app we can click on works with casa these are all the integrations that this switch can connect to okay so there is a website and it's called if this done that this website basically lets you make automations that integrate with a bunch of smart home devices so i'm quickly going to log in we are going to create a new automation before going on i'm going to install the fdis and that integration on the stream deck software so in the software you can also go to github here and these are instructions to install if this and that integrations on your stream deck so before doing this i had to link my fdis on that account to webhooks then we need to set up what to do so now we look for the case and aggression which is the brunt of the switch we choose turn it on and so now we need to choose which device to turn on and we're gonna choose tv and room switch so now in the stream deck program we need to give this integration a name and so now when i press this button here my stream deck will trigger the web hooks online those web hooks are connected to if it is done that and then if this then that is connected to casa and case i will turn on my switch so i'm gonna press it to test and my room light just turned on so you could make a button to turn it on turn it off and now like i said in the beginning you can make a button that for example turns on that key light but then also turns off your room light there are a lot of possibilities now the next gadget is honestly something i wanted to test myself this product should be perfect for me and i think also for a lot of other people now i brought my cup of coffee because what usually happens is i make myself some coffee then i go to my desk i put it next to me i start working and then i just completely forget about it for like an hour then i take it back and it's completely cold now this here is a coffee warmer or chocolate milk warmer or whatever tea whatever you want to drink it is not usb powered you need to plug it in and basically this is a plate that will get very hot you can put your coffee on it and then it should keep it warm now i think there were a few stunts as you can see there are three temperature settings and it also comes in a bunch of colors as you can see here these are all the possibilities and i figured out we could just test it while making this video so we're gonna set it up then we're gonna check out the next gadgets and then after that we're gonna see if the coffee is still warm so this is a very small manual okay so this is pretty straightforward when you plug this in it will start blinking blue and this means it's doing nothing and when you press it one time this is the high power so now it will probably be heating up my coffee and when you press it the second time this is medium power the third time this is low power and then when you press it again you're actually turning it off but it's gonna keep blinking right until the plate has been cooled down so since it's turned off when i press it again it will be high medium low and turning off so i'm gonna put it to the high setting and then i'm gonna put it over here and we'll return to it in a bit to check if it's powerful enough to warm up my coffee now for the next gadget i brought some evidence because i'm gonna show you once and for all why some budget microphones are surprisingly good and why some other ones excluding this this is evidence why some other ones are terrible so this here is the newer nw8000 usb and we bought this in one of the previous builds and it was surprisingly good however this one is the well wiz.com microphone it has a lot of stuff inside it looks very cheap it rumbles and it comes with this cable which is a problem i want to talk about so let's put this aside for a second now this microphone here which is a very cheap one if you look at the port on the back you can see that this is an xlr microphone now to use an xlr microphone you usually need an xlr cable so one side of the cable goes into the xlr mic and then the other side is also an xlr connection so what you do with that you connect it to something you've definitely heard before an audio interface and then on the other side of the audio interface you have a usb cable and that goes into your pc it turns everything this mic records into a digital signal however what all these chinese companies are doing with these mics is giving you an xlr2 aux converter if you plug the xlr into the mic that's a good step however the other step is simply plugging this into your pc but what happens is your audio doesn't get amplified by this audio interface now a disclaimer i am not an audio pro i am not an audio engineer however this is a basic breakdown of what happens and so when you connect a microphone like this to your pc you got low quality sound you got a hissing sound on the background you got noise and it overall doesn't sound good however then once in a while when i'm building a setup for the channel i buy a cheap microphone from amazon so microphone kit that has a mic has a microphone arm a shock damper some other stuff and the microphone itself also looks like the other cheap microphone it's just another color however the big difference with this mic is that the connection is usb and not an xlr connection like that mic and so again i'm not an audio engineer but what i assume is that these companies they actually want to make a good product so what i guess they are doing is making a tiny audio interface putting it into the mic itself so that everything the mic records can go through their tiny audio interface and then gets outputted as a usb signal just like what happens when you use a big audio interface and so that's the reason that once in a while i buy one of these cheaper microphones for a video and that me including all of you are surprised by the sound of it so inside of the kit comes a clamp that you just connect to your desk let's tighten it any microphone arm and the shock mount that you just shove into it there we go and then you can pull these things together shove your mic into it release it now it's very sturdy and then you can simply connect it to your pc by the way i feel that the coffee is actually heating up i'm not gonna taste it i want to keep it for later but i have a good feeling about it i'm going to plug this mic into my laptop so we can have a listen at it hey future tv on here i am editing this video as we speak and this microphone had a lot of noise on the background there was a constant tone and as you can see i've been trying noise reduction and it just doesn't work however luckily i went over a second mic that's an amazing one so i'm going to show that segment now so this is the pseudotech sd-800 a lot of my viewers have already bought it there's a reason why it sounds amazing and i'm gonna show you hello hello hello okay so this is a test of the pseudotech st800 so these are kind of the same thing a basic microphone tiny but decent audio interface put into it and then through usb into the pc now i haven't heard them yet but you can put in the comments which one of these you like more because it will help me in the future to know which mic to suggest to people now the next gadget is something that isn't only amazing for its functionality which is a galaxy light but in my opinion also and primarily for its looks so for those who watch every video of me you probably saw this in my galaxy streaming setup but i wanted to give it a separate feature because this is the perfect description of a cool gadget for streamers and also i completely forgot to go over the remote in that video and as i said before the main reason i think this is awesome is because it just looks awesome if you want as much rgb as possible on your stream in the background and you want one of those galaxy ceilings or walls etc then the projector of this thing is going to be perfect for you however if you're not really a fan of those type of lights like me and this thing is perfect to use as a prop in your setup or on a shelf in the background of your stream it's just something interesting and also unlike a lot of other cheap stuff that you can buy on amazon that might look good as a prop this is pretty big a lot of the times you find something great looking on amazon maybe it's some kind of rgb cube and then they show it on a nightstand and you think it might be cool on my shelf but then the thing arrives and then instead of being a cube of this size it's actually just a tiny cube and they took a close-up of it but as you can see when i put it next to my hat now i have a pretty big head to be honest but it's kind of big the astronaut not my head my head's pretty big so i'm gonna plug it in you need usb connection the other side goes into the astronaut and there's three buttons here on his backpack but then there's also a remote as i mentioned oh it feels very light so i fear it'll be without yeah it's without battery so you need two of those aaa batteries i'm gonna take a look in a second but i don't know if i have those so i quickly got a phone usb charger i'm gonna plug it into that and we kind of need this power here so i think it's time to test if this actually works now the coffee was kind of cold when i put it on it and let's feel if there's oh that's definitely water i'd argue the bottom is kind of hot obviously because it says caution hot surface let's do a taste test this is actually amazing sometimes those cheap things don't really work and in this case it definitely does i'm gonna turn it off it automatically powers off after four hours you can turn it on put your coffee on it and then kind of forget about it but yeah let's connect this astronaut now and i'm gonna turn it on on the back i think you can see that it works i limited this wall and then turn off my light so i have to admit this looks kind of awesome so there are a few stuns here i'm gonna cycle through them so you can see all of them and then as you can see after a while the green dots start appearing and if you keep pressing the right button then those green dots will disappear forever and in my opinion this looks much better now it turns out i don't have triple a batteries but the remote is just doing the same thing as the buttons on the backpack now if you want to see more cool gadgets videos i will add them there on the screen if you have a suggestion definitely put it in the comments like this video subscribe to the channel and besides that thank you so much for watching i hope to see you in one of my next videos have a nice speak and this microphone had a lot of noise on the background there was a constant tone and as you can see i've been trying noise reduction and it just doesn't work however luckily i went over a second mic that's an amazing one so i'm going to show that segment now so this is the pseudotech sd-800 a lot of my viewers have already bought it there's a reason why it sounds amazing and i'm gonna show you hello hello hello okay so this is a test of the pseudotech st800 so these are kind of the same thing a basic microphone tiny but decent audio interface put into it and then through usb into the pc now i haven't heard them yet but you can put in the comments which one of these you like more because it will help me in the future to know which mic to suggest to people now the next gadget is something that isn't only amazing for its functionality which is a galaxy light but in my opinion also and primarily for its looks so for those who watch every video of me you probably saw this in my galaxy streaming setup but i wanted to give it a separate feature because this is the perfect description of a cool gadget for streamers and also i completely forgot to go over the remote in that video and as i said before the main reason i think this is awesome is because it just looks awesome if you want as much rgb as possible on your stream in the background and you want one of those galaxy ceilings or walls etc then the projector of this thing is going to be perfect for you however if you're not really a fan of those type of lights like me and this thing is perfect to use as a prop in your setup or on a shelf in the background of your stream it's just something interesting and also unlike a lot of other cheap stuff that you can buy on amazon that might look good as a prop this is pretty big a lot of the times you find something great looking on amazon maybe it's some kind of rgb cube and then they show it on a nightstand and you think it might be cool on my shelf but then the thing arrives and then instead of being a cube of this size it's actually just a tiny cube and they took a close-up of it but as you can see when i put it next to my hat now i have a pretty big head to be honest but it's kind of big the astronaut not my head my head's pretty big so i'm gonna plug it in you need usb connection the other side goes into the astronaut and there's three buttons here on his backpack but then there's also a remote as i mentioned oh it feels very light so i fear it'll be without yeah it's without battery so you need two of those aaa batteries i'm gonna take a look in a second but i don't know if i have those so i quickly got a phone usb charger i'm gonna plug it into that and we kind of need this power here so i think it's time to test if this actually works now the coffee was kind of cold when i put it on it and let's feel if there's oh that's definitely water i'd argue the bottom is kind of hot obviously because it says caution hot surface let's do a taste test this is actually amazing sometimes those cheap things don't really work and in this case it definitely does i'm gonna turn it off it automatically powers off after four hours you can turn it on put your coffee on it and then kind of forget about it but yeah let's connect this astronaut now and i'm gonna turn it on on the back i think you can see that it works i limited this wall and then turn off my light so i have to admit this looks kind of awesome so there are a few stuns here i'm gonna cycle through them so you can see all of them and then as you can see after a while the green dots start appearing and if you keep pressing the right button then those green dots will disappear forever and in my opinion this looks much better now it turns out i don't have triple a batteries but the remote is just doing the same thing as the buttons on the backpack now if you want to see more cool gadgets videos i will add them there on the screen if you have a suggestion definitely put it in the comments like this video subscribe to the channel and besides that thank you so much for watching i hope to see you in one of my next videos have a nice day
