**The Search for the Perfect Transmissions**

In our quest to find the perfect transmissions for our classic car project, we recently came across an extremely rare and unique opportunity. We were looking at two transmission options, one being from a TT car and the other from an NA car. The TT car's transmission was described as having all the same internals as the RB25 bell housing, but with some slight variations. This variation sparked debate among enthusiasts, with some claiming that the transmissions are identical, while others argue that there are subtle differences.

The seller of the NA car's transmission claimed that it was a one-of-a-kind left-hand drive Holden 105 ever made. The high price tag of $100,000 seemed steep, but for a collector's item like this, it's not uncommon to see such prices. Despite the rarity and value of the transmission, we were skeptical about its authenticity and decided to inspect it further.

**The Inspectors' Findings**

Upon inspection, our team discovered that the TT car's transmission had slid deep into the bell housing, with no signs of a bin or other metal components. In contrast, the NA car's transmission was found to have all its gears intact, with minimal damage and no metal shavings. We also noticed that the RTV (silicone-based sealant) on the old bell housing was still in place, indicating that it had been replaced recently.

**The Cleanup Process**

After inspecting both transmissions, we decided to focus on installing the RB25 bell housing from the TT car. However, as our team was about to begin the installation process, Alberto, our resident troublemaker, started causing chaos by spilling oil on the new transmission and drilling holes in it to release his pent-up frustration.

**The Toy Drive Open House**

In an effort to give back to the community, we announced a toy drive open house event, where we will be collecting toys to donate to Toys for Tots. **Snow Tires and Guitar Practice**

After completing the transmission installation process, we decided to take care of some other tasks. Alberto helped us install snow tires on the roof rack, while I spent some quality time practicing guitar. I even managed to learn a new song called "Overstepping" by Belmont, which features complex guitar riffs.

**A Perfect Day**

Despite the chaos and unexpected events, our day turned out to be quite productive. We were able to install the cabinets and sort through various parts, giving us hope for completing the project soon. The only downside was having to cut our video shoot short due to Alberto's antics. However, we're looking forward to finishing the transmission installation process tomorrow and sharing more updates with you, our loyal viewers.

to demonstrate just put these in first oh did you put them in out there no we just didn't forget what we did but yeah yeah we put one in and then hold held the wire pipe up and then put the rest in just not smart so these are all the same crack correct so these have like slots in them oh yeah I see I thought these purses we're gonna go across the side but this is so you there we go you just that's pretty cool so this is what the back boards are gonna mount - yeah that's cool exactly backwards you're get them out to the wall and was like yeah it's kind of gonna be pain yeah I had no idea when I got mine how the heck was that gonna work and what happens is it pulls it all together so everything's nice and stout I was worried that we were gonna have an issue with this mounting the board on the wall but it doesn't matter no yep for good it's pretty cool in theory if you wanted to you couldn't leave this one space behind here because is this too small should have gone bigger will it do is this gonna work now the great part about it if you move this would be really easy to just pack up and roll yeah yeah cuz yours we mounted to the wall so this is gonna be it looks pretty good yeah a lot of Sonics Sonic Sonic Sonic Sonic video I wanted no one will no one will want to wonder what your cabinets are no more up in your shorts yeah that was worse yeah cabinets that whole like it I still gonna like file them edges a bit it looks pretty but it'll rip your skin off yeah right it's nice little even even like the cabinets even like the shelves have that too we can get we can get a master key no I know I thought the camera not to the wall no dude they just they just snap right in in two seconds yeah I don't think so I think we're good maybe I don't I don't need any food come on --i eat no I'm not for wax or what are you doing there tightening some screws and pretty easy right like I said we're gonna be done with this by lunchtime really it's awesome we'll have to do a little bit of leveling and put the countertops on I went inside to edit my video because Matt told me that we weren't going to do the upper cabinets or the countertops until they were pushed against the wall he's apparently a liar now the fame got to his head no he's a liar yeah it's true and for getting your stuff yep I'm just annoying him right now by closing all the cabinets he needs to open back up again there's a little pilot hole for our power cord to run through and then we're gonna take our matching things match really nicely and put that in place with some self-tapping metal screws are you doing done anyone well less than 24 hours and we've already acquired another replacement z32 trends the Z plug actually reached out to me gave me the number for his friend called the Z 32 plug the Z 32 plug had a bunch of different options so when you got this one what you think should we probably like power-washed it real quick or something we're missing one little kick plate so I had to take some scrap and cut it up and the edge a little bit and got to look pretty nice but this is basically the finished product it's so wide I have to back up so far just to get it it's funny like if I'm filming this section in the shop mat at almost 6 is nice house like your areas but then I pan over and it's like yeah so obviously cabinets are done let's give them a super super quick tour but they can go over to your channel if they want to see like the full detailed install and all the little quirks and stuff beauties stainless as it looks real pretty when it's clean come with nice foam inserts these are fancy these did not come with these power strips we just pick these up from Home Depot but they actually like go pretty nice with it similar style just little neat little quirks that they do to make these better really yeah it's pretty cool I look fit and finish of these what it's all I don't remember how it actually played out but how I found out about Sonic there is a guy that I think he is he a rep for Sonic yeah Scott yeah he's one of the regional did how did I meet Scott was it through your did I meet him we were at your house doing your garage oh and he stopped by yeah and then over his house and showing us showed us the cabinets so and then I saw remember me like we open up the drawer and you're like oh so they make they make tools also and they have direct fit like kits that directly fit in here all nicely organized in foam and everything but they're very expensive and someday Adam someday yeah well I mean they're not very expensive compared to tools but compared to my Harbor Freight array that I'm used to yeah it's a pretty penny yeah so but I mean these cabinets what do we end up paying for Matt it sounds expensive but for something like this it really is a very good deal if you compare it to a lot of the other big name brands um what a dealership would have you know this is dealership that's who they cater to EMSA Racing dealerships aviation but they they're now priced at a point that you know if you have a big garage it's I wouldn't call it reasonable but it's not and it's not anywhere near upper echelon pricing you know something like a list like having an array like this would cost you about 30,000 well I am a dealership Matt I just only bought cars yeah someday anyway um a lot of the comments said you wanted to see Matt go for ride on the BMW short ride short ride okay I'll go I'll go let it warm up real quick he goes it feels just like my m3 but it's faster it is better I would much rather have an m3 you think yeah for sure a supercharged m3 would be like they're just a way more balanced are the things it's fun but it's it's a lot of people have that question about you know would you rather have an m3 or would you rather have so this not my big turbo and 54 well I mean you could have a stocker 154 and make more power than them 3 yeah and I think it's more a little bit more fun to drive around town but the limiting factors effect you don't have the LSD and you have much different like arms and bushings so the car feels sloppy this car has all the m3 bushings m3 arms so it's essentially number three underneath without the wider fenders and it does make the caught a lot more enjoyable to drive but it's still like I would rather have a nice responsive and a v8 then let's be a newer turbo 600 if it was an older one it would be a lot more responsive interact this one still just was amazing feels pretty stock do not think it would know I felt like I thought it would feel a little janky style it's quiet - yeah for none exhaust she's just a head performance yeah I think I want to go with like pretty crazy straight pipe on it just because since it's not my daily anymore it's so quiet that it kind of takes away from the excitement of driving the car yeah that make sense it's my happy interviews I learned losing my edge mm they're much more powerful Chauncey oh yeah defecation wasted with a pond but I don't have the same notion like part of the fun for me is like having too much power for the chassis because it is more of a handful to drive but there's something to be said about a nice well-balanced car as opposed to something like this yeah beer much more you you you know what to do if your car gets sideways you know just from this thing know is when you start I feel like getting in the higher power higher grip cars it starts to get really unpredictable let's compare it to like a drift car that doesn't have much grip when it shuts out it's like okay it's it's made to do that yes you can't really counter steering you're driving straight I mean you can a little bit but still when you have so much grip still and so much power like it steps out very very visceral like very rowdy yeah like that short run go back yeah it's pretty nasty this cars turning cute too literally I like driving a solution Joyride well I I put it around town then like a friend stuff by the way is you know you yeah without Bravo's you've been freaking screen did it gets Australia we gets frustrating you know when you have a car like this and it's throwing codes non-stop and you can't really enjoy the car but it seems like between active and ESI they really got it ironed out and yeah I haven't had any issues yet I'm sure they'll come so luckily you got 17 other cars together yeah all right so what do you think yeah I was shocked at how slow because I am at any 92 in like five years and I got it I'm like because right when I had it at the time I was scared to death like the even bid redline well it's one of those cars though you have to drive the crap out of it because it's a flat plane ight yeah no no it's not oh I thought it was really no it's a traditional v8 oh I was under the impression there were flat plains as well well either way I know that the the power delivery is very similar to the flat plain or if you don't really rev it out it's not a canoe doesn't feel somebody home yeah absolutely not but now you know now I get it any one comparison to other cars that I've owned it feels so slow ya know and this is insane I mean it would you literally be 20 bus lengths so even even this even the stock version of this that made 420 wheel yeah I don't care oh yeah no I would rather have an m3 than a stock 335 all day I thought before I single turbo this I was contemplating like should I just basically get the same exact car and an m3 and then down the road I could always supercharge it yeah but I like I like the idea of maybe a up in Horeb is positive displacement supercharger really cool ESS is really big in that game too for me it's just more or less the fact that this car has sentimental volume because people don't really like it I didn't want to get rid of it I thought it'd be cool it being such such a like developed platform now at this point to actually single turbo more than 54 because they are so random because they have so much potential I mean making 750 horsepower on a unopened engine untouched yeah it's pretty hungry I mean people make 850 yeah reliably sounds pretty crazy yeah I really want to put a Garrett turbo on this I think it would spool quite a bit faster and I think it would make more power it's not on now that's a Zona rotor that mode of cells with their kids and it's a really good ball bearing turbo but I'm just looking at the specs and everything it's very similar to a 3582 Garrett but the garrett is rated from like 450 to 850 horsepower over the zonas rated from like 550 to 720 and to me those specs kind of indicated the Garrett's a little more efficient because it's it should spool the same but it won't kind of start falling off like a turbo out of its efficiency range would cuz that that's the only limiting factor on this right now that's like 32 pounds of boost stock an open-ended what's the you expect to drive 20,000 miles on that before bozo I don't know I don't I don't think it would you know they can handle it see I think you'd be more likely to blow it up doing something dumb like ripping on a cold or with bad gas than just from wear and tear I think that's more likely that you will blow it up or something will go wrong because of a dumb mistake rather than actually you can pound you blow it up to chasten horsepower yeah for sure you know you're moving up in the world when Alberto is no longer using his pure strength there's actually using a Jack there's not even 26 es the pluck mob mean too old I'm all Tommy's literally older than Alberto more seasoned what did you find sir like what I bet that's your third gear right there and there and it smells great huh I'm not there so let it be known that no lifting of z32 trends not a good idea just watch watch that on now I'm just just keep walking you're still on the shot though don't worry about surprise since we have to take the bellhousing to put the RB bellhousing kind of inspecting everything there's a little bit of metal so Alberto now is looking through everything to try to see where that metal came from any idea of where to look so confused right now where these compound that's broken right yeah your smell is like laying there so what is this where did he go oh that's a little weird is that one of that oh it has a broken shift selector dude that's what broke that's a common thing on these the other side of it so the train is no good time to go get another one taking the truck on a quick field trip up to Sanford to stop by this is 32 plug and grab another trans you normally test them get enough time to destinies and he kind of told us ain't just check it out beforehand you know if you have any issues we'll swap it out with you and lo and behold you know by a transformer wrecked car or whatever it came from can happen so when we're gonna grab now those a little bit more expensive but it's a no good one out of a TT car so this one was out of an NA car apparently it's the same internals just a different bell housing some people say that you're slightly different something internals are slightly different but the most knowledgeable people that we've talked to seem to say that they're identical so there's a hold in here right which is pretty rare sight in the States and apparently they want like a hundred grand for it you talk to him yeah why does he wanna he says that is not are converted left-hand-drive holden it's an actual 105 ever made left-hand drive he says and that's why he wants a monogram oh no is that a thing I don't know tell my below if you're not are slightly different but the most knowledgeable people that we've talked to seem to say that they're identical so there's a hold in here right which is pretty rare sight in the States and apparently they want like a hundred grand for it you talk to him yeah why does he wanna he says that is not are converted left-hand-drive holden it's an actual 105 ever made left-hand drive he says and that's that I did see I think is on Instagram or in the YouTube comments in regards to the toy drive open house that we're doing which is not this Sunday but the following Sunday like I said our goal is to fill up the trailer with toys to go bring to Toys for Tots if any of you guys want to contribute to that mind you you will have a local Toys for top place where you can donate toys but if for some reason you want to send one here and you want us to bring it and you want it to be in the trailer whatever if you can help contribute that's totally cool and I will put a link in the description with our mailbox address just be mindful if it's not gonna get here before next weekend I would just hold off and donate so like a local toy drive just because we are gonna take the trip that Monday after the toy drive and bring everything over there I'm like if you have said like toys straggling in I don't know yeah you guys understand so anyway just put it out there no pressure at all like you guys have a lot of cool like really technical guitar riffs and yeah so look you're not I'm trying to learn a song tonight since I have time and like the beginning is kind of shaky as you guys will see I'm
