We Got a Call for a Nissan and It's Pulling a Camp Trailer Up on Sheep Ridge Road
So we got a call for a Nissan, and I believe that's pulling a camp trailer up on Sheep Ridge Road. He says that he drove in and tried to flip a hill and got into some soft mud. So, we're gonna head up there and see if we can get him out. We've got Randy and Tim today, all right. My question is, is turning this sharp enough to turn you around right here or whether we should try to get you on the road turn you around somewhere else? But I'm thinking, if we take it nice and slow, we can try to get you turned around here and back onto the hardpack without getting into this deeper. There's a couple reasons I don't want to do that, just a question that's all I'm gonna have.
I've never been very fun with these trailers, yeah, they're unknown quantities, how strong is the receiver stuff on there? Yeah, yeah, so yeah, now I've got myself a low four-wheel low and I got the rear differential. Okay, not much help until you get here, but then we'll talk about driving strategy and then we'll get you out of here. Ten times in the last week on this road at least, and the second time a third time today. Thanks for watching today, well, I walked all down other pass rate up some of those little cars that are down. Yeah, they're gonna have to wait till it dries out, they're getting this dries out really fast. Wondering so, wondering if if you come by here if these clouds cleared out and you were here by this time tomorrow, you'd be able to drive on all of this it's got really good drainage.
Yeah, a trailer can turn a very capable rig into a boat anchor in a second. Oh, who's a good dog? That's probably about right there. I don't want to help about as much this is really hard. You need to help the right amount, okay. Definitely don't want to overrun the rope just these are spongy ropes they stretch they store energy and the they can stretch and go. I'm gonna we're gonna kind of start out gentle yeah I don't want you digging any deeper than you are but I think we can pretty easy if you just follow this trajectory you'll be fine you'll know I'm going to ride it by the time no this side okay by the time you get essentially where my Jeep is we're gonna know if we're to change our tactics.

time you get essentially where my Jeep is we're gonna know if we're to change our tactics okay the reason that push bar is moving so much is because it's barely attached to the frame with two little eighth inch straps of Steel and when I'm pulling the bridle is putting a small amount of upward pressure on the bottom of the push bar and that's what's making it move so much if we can if we can get this done by flipping at you or if we're gonna have to do a point turn I think we've got a loop drive around right there let's just carefully do that let's drive up the road here yep drive around the loop I did that that way takes you to Zion there's campgrounds up around Zion yeah virgin is this this town you'll come to right here this is nice and tall as a good trailing arm suspension independent it's not stock right the whole Jeep is stock except for from the suspension where the suspension connects to the body down is junkyard axles and hand fabricated suspension Wow so but that's just for durability more than capability okay the the real magic is the rope we use a yankem rope kinetic energy rope so that's why I'm able to back up and hitch in back up and hit you and so I can store a lot of energy in that rope and and go so we got there and he got his truck and trailer buried pretty good in the mud we were first we tried to see if we could just flipping you and get him out that just wasn't working so we decided to go out the long way I kept him hooked up because I wasn't sure what we're gonna get into but there was actually good road he would have been able to do that by himself we got him out of thereso we got a call for a nissan tights and I believe that's pulling a camp trailer up on Sheep Ridge Road he says that he drove in and tried to flip a hill and got
