**AMA with David de Franco**

In a recent AMA (Ask Me Anything) session, YouTube personality David de Franco answered questions from his fans about everything from camping to his personal life. One of the first questions came from Matthew, who asked if David would get his own RV or trailer tent for camping with his parents. David replied that while he hasn't gotten his own RV yet, he has considered it and thinks it would be a great way for him to continue vlogging about his outdoor adventures.

David explained that he loves the idea of taking a small popup camper behind his Mazda and traveling from location to location. He believes this would be a perfect opportunity for him to vlog his experiences and get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. However, he acknowledged that there are several reasons why he can't do it right now, but hopes to make it happen in the next 10 years.

One question that stood out was from Adam Howard, who asked what David likes most about camping. David replied that he loves relaxation, and getting away from the stresses of everyday life. He also mentioned that he sometimes feels anxious and overwhelmed, but camping helps him to unwind and clear his mind. He described it as a way for him to "get away" and be himself.

Another question came from Jess Shoemaker, who asked if David's family would ever consider doing hardcore camping, such as sleeping bags, fishing for food, and drinking river water. David replied that he thinks this would be an epic video idea, but unfortunately, he doesn't fish because he hates the idea of killing animals for food. He joked that this might make him lose his "man card," but emphasized that it's not a reason to dismiss the experience.

Finally, David received a question from Alfred deasi, who asked if he recommends camping with a sniper or rocket launcher when playing Call of Duty. David responded by saying that while sniping is one of his favorite things to do in the game, using a rocket launcher feels too easy compared to the satisfaction of getting an accurate shot.

David also announced that he will not be uploading a weekend vlog this week because he and his family are leaving for Driftwood tonight. He apologized for any inconvenience this might cause and explained that they will be taking off from YouTube on Monday and Tuesday, but the vlog will be live on Wednesday and Thursday.

David promised to upload some videos that he will record at Driftwood throughout the week, so fans can still get a taste of his adventures even if they're not online for it. He also encouraged everyone to have a great holiday weekend and enjoy time with family and friends.

10 people who don't do just that okay I'm sorry I'm not trying to sound like a jerk just I don't get it anyway today's video let's get into it ama I have 12 questions to get through so let's get started all right so let's do this opening up iCloud Drive AMA May 2016 I just uploaded these screenshots so they're going to take a little while of sink here they come they're coming in they're coming in so the first question comes from Ben lman Ben says you guys always go RV camping what about good oldfashioned tent camping now I chose this question first for a very good reason because I've gone good old fashion tent camping multiple times in the past and I've vlogged at least two of those experiences and while for proof of that check this out I think Dave really had to pee or something so much coffee I think it goes like right through oh my God look at that dude that's like a horse pee yeah are you done yet uh- come on man yeah man that was you're never getting recorded again I'm sorry I'm I'm walking away you're never touching this again again yes there you go I David Franco actually went tent camping I know what a shocker I just say that cuz some people always assume that I've only gone glamping which I'm not even a very big fan of that word by the way but still Ben I chose your question for that reason because I want to talk about the differences between camping and camping you see what I just did there they are both forms of camping people simply prefer different things I love tent camping but I also love camping in a camper it simply comes down to your personal preference and especially my dad I love my dad but I just cannot see him sleeping in a tent he's all about being in a bed with his covers and everything and that's great I can greatly respect that because like I said everybody has their own preference and I think that's cool I mean guys if you think about it the whole camper industry is huge nowadays so my family and I we are far from the only people that use campers while camping so just keep that in mind but with that said I still enjoy good oldfashioned camping they're very different uh but they're both very enjoyable question number two comes from Paul Andrew Bentley what's your favorite thing about camping Paul this is a great question my favorite thing is relaxation I love just getting away and relaxing by the lake having my Twisted Teas my strong bows going in my bike rides vlogging the crap out of Driftwood cuz let's face it my longest Vlogs come out of driftwood which I think is pretty cool and that says a lot because there's always a lot to do and well honestly I just love spending time with my family family is extremely important to me and with camping there aren't any real distractions like other vacations like Seaside Heights New York City all that stuff I mean I love those places and I'm looking very forward to going to both of those locations later this year but there's just something about Driftwood it feels very different while it's not as campy as some people would prefer it's still camping enough for me where I get away from my house away from my work and I can just chill and that's what it's all about chilling and killing no I don't I don't kill unless I need to Kevin epie my good friend Kev what up dude Kevin has question number three Kevin says what was your most frightful experience while at Driftwood meaning have you come close to any animals or anything like that I laugh because kev's asking about my encountering frightful experiences while camping at Driftwood 2 Driftwood 2 camping is pretty much as safe as it gets the most dangerous thing we have is snakes and I don't really mind snakes so no there's like no bears there's no wild animals okay maybe there's coyotes I have not seen any yet but still I mean chances of myself getting into a frightful experience at Driftwood 2 is just as good as my chance as switching from IOS to Windows phone or whatever the hell they call it nowadays yeah it's just not going to happen but the doesn't mean I wouldn't mind a frightful experience at Driftwood so I mean if I happen to encounter a bear that would be pretty sweet but unfortunately it's not going to happen still though great question Kev question number four comes from Jose Gonzalez what's your favorite campfire treat or meal awesome question because it's no secret my family and I we love love to eat when we go to Driftwood and I'm very grateful for my mom's cooking I mean think about it she's there at Driftwood on vacation but she's constantly making us happy with meals and I just think that's awesome Mom we appreciate everything you do really we do we may be men who are obsessed with our our drones and our TVs and whatever but at the end of the day Mom we asking asking I love answering questions like I said I don't have an exact location in mind but I would love to go somewhere remote surrounded by mountains and a place that has like bears and moose and just coyotes Wildlife basically I would love to camp in wildlife in a good oldfashioned tent with a campfire and marshmallows and stuff like that that in my eyes would be the best camping experience ever and plus imagine the vlogging opportunities getting excited just thinking about it so who knows that could happen one day I mean even over there in Pennsylvania I mean it's I know it's not as mountainous as the location that I'm trying to picture in my mind right now but PA is pretty damn mountainous so hopefully hopefully we'll go camping over in PA Someday My dad is just very comfortable at Driftwood and once he finds a spot he loves it's going to be pretty hard to Prime away from that spot can't really blame him though it's close it's convenient and it's affordable Anthony managon one of my biggest supporters Anthony says which camping camping ground which campgr do you like more than more like Driftwood damn it David which camping camping ground do you like more Driftwood one or Driftwood 2 sorry Anthony I'm kind of a grammar freak um Driftwood 2 definitely Driftwood 2 I mean I will say Driftwood 1 is so impressive it kind of makes me think of lost like the others how they find a Village okay don't talk about spoilers just in case no one's seen lost yet but that's what I try to think of Driftwood one in my eyes is like this tightly knit Community where all these people know one another they have all these awesome parties awesome barbecues this big ass pool these community events I just think it's the coolest thing it's like entering Driftwood one is like entering a different world like the outside world doesn't exist and that's the way I look at it but with that said it's kind of like a neighborhood so it doesn't feel as campy to me as it should in my opinion but Driftwood 2 while it's not as campy as other campgrounds it feels campy enough where we have a small enough Lake to enjoy small enough big enough Lake to enjoy um there's plenty of trees some paths to explore some biking to do and that's enough for me so I mean I'd love Driftwood one and hopefully we stay there at some point but I especially love Driftwood 2 because well that's our Campground I'm used to it and I enjoy it very much question number eight Hubert low III would you ever go camping for more than one week hell yeah come on dude come on come on come on
