Refueling and Road Trip Prep

As we refuelled our cars, Alex had an 85 tune but was on his way to get a laptop to detune it so he could run 91. He had been shopping for a laptop while being halfway across the world via text messages when he forgot where he put them. After receiving texts from us about the laptop's whereabouts, we went over to Alex’s house to get one. Unfortunately, the first house didn’t have an available laptop and another was taken by Alex himself, who claimed not to know how to detune his car or did not want to give up his power. The second Alex had told us he wouldn't be able to come with us on our trip to Vegas because he was too busy.

As a result, we decided to proceed without him and head out to meet up with some new recruits along the way. Our first stop would be a gas station where we picked up one of the new recruits who joined our crew. We were all excited to finally have a team together that could take on this challenge. Alex had an expensive cup holder in his car that seemed to serve no practical purpose.

Before we left, we visited the local police station and spoke with some officers about our plans for the trip. Our first stop was near the top of a hill where we decided to take a few practice runs up and down the hill to warm up our cars. As we warmed up, Alex mentioned that his right side speedometer had been set to 2003 miles an hour. We were all shocked by this claim.

Next, we headed to a gas station for some food and to ask about detuning a car using their ECU software. The owner of the gas station told us that they did not sell e85 fuel anymore but offered us some free candy instead. Alex mentioned that he had downloaded an ECU file from VF, a company that provides tuning files for cars.

As we sat at the gas station, Alex explained to us how detuning his car would work using his phone and a cable to plug into it. He told us that it was a relatively simple process that could be done in just two minutes. When he finished explaining, we all took off, with Alex's car leading the way.

We stopped at a gas station near our destination where we found out that e85 fuel would not be available there either. We then headed back to the hotel and checked in, feeling relieved that we had made it safely despite some unexpected setbacks. Before going to bed, we discussed what the next day would bring, knowing that we had an epic adventure ahead of us.

The next morning, Alex greeted us warmly at the MGM Grand hotel where he was supposed to meet us for our planned detuning exercise. We were excited to finally see how this process worked in person and were eager to learn from our new friend.

Alex explained to us that his car's ECU had a secret message embedded into it, which said "Alex chose special sauce" when viewed on the software's screen. He showed us how to access the menu and explain to us that the detuning file was called "special sauce." We were all fascinated by this and couldn't wait to see the results of our exercise.

After we finished our exercise, Alex told us that his car had gained 50 horsepower due to the tuning process. We were impressed by his knowledge and enthusiasm for car tuning. As we left the hotel, we couldn't help but feel excited about what the day had in store for us.

The next part of the article would continue the story of our adventure as we set out to explore the city and see how Alex's car performed on the road. We were eager to test out his detuned engine and see if it could handle the traffic and conditions of the city streets.

other Alex's house to get a laptop and we got one dude he doesn't even use it and he's not even using it two things are happening one he doesn't know how to detune his car or two he doesn't want to give up the power you wouldn't be the first person I don't want to give up the power a lot cheaper dude if you get stuck out in the middle of the desert on our way to Vegas I could tell you i towed Dave's car I could tow this thing we're heading out to Vegas Sin City meet up with my boy Houston Alex unfortunately can't make it with us Houston has some new cars he has a new bike a crazy bike he's still got the Bugatti that's always a fun thing to play with so we're gonna go out there and make some epic videos for you guys and we also have some other stuff Vegas related to do kind of like we serious process as a problem what's the problem so I'm supposed to around 40% 85 and 60% 91 yeah and I put too much 85 in so now I'm at like 70% 85 and 30% 91 what happens I just move my car so you can't blow up no the worst thing that can like the worst-case scenario is I have to change my injectors actually it could actually blow up but what's just hope done everything okay I'm gonna move my does it say it top speed is what 201 damn 201 that's pretty sick freaking windy out here so if you ever wondered guys why you would have tools in the front trunk of your supercar this is why I'm shocked if you do it'll just scream they'll be funny there you go lights out get it like three seconds so it that's it hold on you fixed it good I was fine on the side that says free candy this is gas and a Lamborghini at a random a gas station there we go thanks my choice choice Fast and the Furious G tuned at the gas station at 1:00 a.m. in Vegas I feel like that guy that has like like eh so this is like this is the actual stuff for your car no way and so how do you how does it work what do you got to do just like plug in the cable to opt to see your phone just an old Android phone that okay sort this ECU is cold it actually is called that that's pretty cool you have special sauce dude yeah you might have an app but you don't have special sauce booyah just put a gallon it back to the
