Apple Music _ TOP 5 BEST NEW Features & Changes!

Physical Changes within Apple Music Running iOS 17

One notable physical change in Apple Music running iOS 17 is highlighted when switching through tabs, which shows that it's sort of highlighted here. The app also likes to make changes, and one such change is seen when you switch into a song for example and have these share play options available right here within the menu in iOS 17. You have the shared song option and the share play options inside of that menu itself. This minor change showcases how Apple Music is evolving with each new update.

Upon tapping into this menu, you also have the new view credits option which was not available in iOS 16 at all. This allows users to view lyrics right here, as well as share these lyrics and other sections of lyrics. The menus are located at the bottom of the screen, providing easy access to various features. When going back to previous screens, you also have the song credits and audio quality options available, including high-res losslessness.

Another notable change is within Apple Music's "What's Playing Next" feature in iOS 17. Here, the actual scrubber for the song that you're listening to remains on the screen, something not visually available in iOS 16. This allows users to easily scrub through songs again, making it a more user-friendly experience.

New Changes and Features within Apple Music Running iOS 17

When launching Apple Music running iOS 17, the first thing you'll see is a splash screen highlighting three major new features: Share Play for CarPlay, Crossfade between songs, and song lyrics. These changes are designed to enhance the overall music listening experience.

One of the most exciting new features in Apple Music running iOS 17 is Share Play for CarPlay. This feature allows users to share playlists with others who are connected via Bluetooth or using a different phone. When someone is driving and wants to play a song, they can be prompted with an option to join their playlist. If the person is driving, they also have the option to tap this button on the bottom of the screen for Share Play and scan a QR code with their iPhone's display or inside of the carplay menu.

This feature removes the need to worry about who's connected via Bluetooth switching phones and things like that, making it easier to share playlists and listen to music together. Apple's implementation of this feature is seamless, allowing users to easily join playlists without any hassle.

Another new feature in Apple Music running iOS 17 is Crossfade between songs. This option smoothly transitions between tracks, creating a more immersive listening experience. The default duration for the transition is three seconds, but users can adjust this length to suit their preferences.

To enable or disable the Crossfade feature, users can access it in settings or within the Apple Music extension or music extension. Once enabled, users can enjoy a seamless listening experience with songs flowing into each other. This feature is a great addition to Apple Music's updates and is sure to delight music lovers.

Future Updates and Changes: Collaborative Playlists and Camera Support

In the near future, Apple Music will introduce another exciting feature called collaborative playlists. This option allows users to create playlists and invite others to join them without needing to share an iPhone around. Users can simply add their favorite tracks to the playlist using their own devices.

Camera support for karaoke is also on its way, providing users with a new way to enjoy music together. With this feature, users will be able to listen to their favorite tracks while also interacting with others in real-time. This is expected to become available later this year, but Apple Music running iOS 17 has already set the stage for these exciting updates.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys in today's video we're taking a look at the best and new features coming to Apple music with iOS 17. Apple has added some great new improvements to Apple music and I have an iPhone here running iOS 16 just to share some of the key differences within the actual Apple music application and I'll also talk about of course the best new features on your iPhone running iOS 17 for Apple music so let's go ahead and dive right into this video so the first thing I want to talk about is some of the visual changes in iOS 17 inside of Apple music itself so I'm gonna go into light mode so that you can better appreciate these changes here so take a look at the actual media player here in comparison to iOS 16 you see that in iOS 16 the Apple music menus and options here and the media players sort of blend in all together now in iOS 17 that's a little different you see that the media player sort of highlighted here and it cuts off there's long rectangular shape media player and it's sort of highlighted here when you switch through the tab so I like that option and that change here within Apple music now something that app will also change here so if you go into a song for example and you have these share play options available right here within the menu in iOS 17 you have the shared song option and the share play options inside of that menu itself so yes something minor but yet different within Apple music and some of the physical changes happening here now if we tap into this menu here we also have the new view credits option which is not available in iOS 16 at all so right here you have the ability to view lyrics right here you also have the option to share these lyrics different sections of lyrics and you have your menus at the bottom there and if we go back here you also have of course the song credits and of course down here you also have the audio quality which is available right here in high res losslessness as you can see right there now another thing I did notice is within Apple music and iOS 17 if you go here and see what's playing next you see that the actual scrubber for the song that you're listening to remains on the screen something not visually available here in iOS 16 it disappears in iOS 17 you continue to get that scrubber so you can scrub through the song again something not visible here within iOS 17. so those are some of the physical changes I would like to point out within Apple music running iOS 17 and now let's talk about some of the new changes now when you first launch Apple music running iOS 17 Apple will give you or show you this splash screen right here now they highlight three major new features share play for carplay we also have Crossfade between songs which I love this feature and the song lyrics option which we just talked about now I want to talk about share Play Because within Apple music iOS 17 share play for carplay and collaborative playlist is here now this is optional of course so you know how when you jump into a car someone is connected to the stereo by a Bluetooth and if you want to play a song you would either have to grab their phone or go ahead and switch Bluetooth devices well you no longer have to do that so you'll get prompted with this the other person can accept that request and you can join their playlist and now you have collaborative playlists and share playlists within Apple music inside of carplay so you can also do a q our code so if the person is driving they also have the option to tap this button here on the bottom for share play and you can scan their QR code with your phone rather in apple music on the iPhone's display or inside of the carplay menu as well you can scan that QR code and join the playlist so collaborative playlist plus share play inside of carplay in iOS 17 which I really really love this is a great new feature no longer you have to worry about who's connected via Bluetooth switching phones and things like that I really love this new Option now as I mentioned one of my favorite new features is Crossfade between songs now basically this was smoothly transition between tracks so that the music sort of continues to flow now this option you can find it in settings you can also adjust it here within the Apple music extension or the music extension there it is you can enable it or disable it all together if you wish Now the default is three seconds for the actual Crossfade transition but you can change that length of the actual transition I like to keep it at three seconds I think that is a good option right there but default and yeah this is really cool if you haven't experienced this just yet when you're listening to music in apple music it'll transition between songs and it's a lot better this way in my opinion so the music sort of keeps flowing I think it's a really nice option that Apple has added here within iOS 17 and now there's also a new Option coming to Apple music later this year which is collaborative playlist and Camera support for karaoke so basically this will allow you to create a playlist and those around you can actually join that playlist of course this is going to be great for karaoke night with new camera support coming to iOS 17 as well you'll be able to listen to your favorite tracks everyone can keep their iPhones and add music to the queue without having to share an iPhone around in order to add music everyone can do it directly from their devices but this one's coming later this year collaborative playlist will most likely be available with iOS 17.1 or 17.2 later down the road but yeah these are some of the best new features and changes in apple music running iOS 17. let me know what you think about the changes this year thank you for watching guys hope you guys enjoy the video and I'll see you guys on the next one peacehey guys in today's video we're taking a look at
