Renault Megane RS Trophy 2019 _ First Drive!

Welcome Inside the Brand-New Renault Megane RS Trophy Car

I am thrilled to welcome you inside the brand-new Renault Megane RS trophy car that I have been given for two weeks. As I speak, it's already become an integral part of my life, and I must say, I've fallen in love with this car even more than I expected. Unfortunately, I've been feeling a bit under the weather lately, but I managed to muster up enough energy to get out of bed and film this video today. The excitement of driving this car is not only thrilling but also brings back memories of my teenage years, driving like a hooligan with my friends.

I recently had the opportunity to test drive this trophy model on a mountain pass, specifically the Albaugh pass, which is located just outside of Under Matt. This was my first drive of the summer, and I couldn't think of anything better to do than bring this car up here. The power of this car is still the same as its predecessor, with a 1.8-liter turbocharged engine that produces 300 horsepower and 400 Newton meters of torque. As a fan of manual hot hatches, I was eager to experience the thrill of driving this car on twisty roads.

The trophy model has some notable upgrades over the original RS model. One of the first things that caught my attention was the new Recaro bucket seats. Not only do they look incredible, but they also provide an added level of comfort and support. The previous version had slightly lower seats, which meant you sat 20 millimeters closer to the floor. For me, this is a game-changer alone – the seats are well worth upgrading to get the trophy model.

Another significant upgrade is the exhaust system, which provides an incredibly loud and obnoxious sound that's music to my ears. The previous version barely made a peep, but now this car can produce some serious bangs and pops when you downshift or come off the gas. I must admit, I'm obsessed with the noise this car produces – it's like nothing else out there. When I drove through a tunnel recently, the exhaust sounded so loud that it was almost deafening.

Under the hood, we have an 1.8-liter turbocharged engine that may not produce a lot of raw power, but it certainly makes up for it with its sound and responsiveness. The manual transmission is, of course, the right choice for me – it's what I've always loved about hot hatches. When you're driving like a maniac with your foot flat down everywhere, there's nothing quite like the feeling of being in complete control of the car.

But what really sets this trophy model apart is its handling and performance. With four-wheel steering, this car becomes even more agile and fun to drive on twisty roads. I was blown away by how well it handled hairpin bends – it's almost impossible to screw up a corner with this car. The four-wheel steering works so seamlessly that you'll feel like a pro driver in no time.

As I mentioned earlier, I'm a huge fan of hot hatches. There's something about the thrill of driving one that just can't be beat. It's not about being flashy or loud; it's about the pure joy of driving a car that responds to your every touch on the wheel. When you put your foot flat down, there's no need to worry about speed limits or safety – you're in the zone.

In conclusion, I have to say that this trophy model has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's fast, it's fun, and it's just plain exciting to drive. With its four-wheel steering, improved exhaust system, and Recaro bucket seats, this car is a serious contender in the hot hatch market. If you're looking for a driving experience that will put a smile on your face every time you get behind the wheel, look no further than the Renault Megane RS trophy model.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwelcome inside the brand-new Renault Megane RS trophy that ran our Switzerland have given me for two weeks I'm now going into the end of my first week living with this car and have loved it so much you have to excuse my voice a little bit I have been ill the last couple of days but I managed to find just enough energy to get out of bed and go and film today's video not only is this car exciting but more exciting news this is the first drive of my summer on a mountain pass today I am on the overpass which is the mountain pass leading out of under Matt if you've been subscribed to my channel for some time you will know that I'm crazy about mountain passes and I've been waiting so long for them to open luckily the Albaugh pass opened last week and I could not think of anything else better to do then bring this car up here it's basically a more hardcore version of the one I had last time the power is still the same it's from a 1.8 litre turbocharged engine that produces 300 horsepower 400 Newton meters of torque with the manual option which I have which is the right one to have but this is a hot hatch it's a proper little hot hatch so for me it should be a manual hot hatches just really take me back to being a teenager driving like a hooligan with your mates having your foot flat down everywhere front-wheel drive under steering into corners it's just so much fun if you've never driven a proper little hot hatch you need to get out and try one oh yes I missed piggies cars so much it is lighter which means it is faster at first glance comparing this trophy model to the original RS model there's not a big difference but the first things that stand out are for sure the seats so the trophy model has these amazing Recaro bucket seats not only do they look incredible with a super comfortable and they also sit 20 millimeter slower than the previous version so you're nice and low down and definitely worth it alone for the seats to get the trophy model the next big thing on the trophy model is the exhaust the previous one just barely made no sound and now in this one you give them hosts ridiculous and obscene bangs coming out the back and going into a tunnel now so excuse the bad lighting but I'm gonna now try and show you the noise this makes so bit of power you come off it we go it's ridiculous sometimes lets off the biggest bangs you've heard so the actual sound of the car it's a 1.8 liter turbocharged engine you can't really expect much from it but these pops and bangs are super cool I love them and they are louder than the ones on the Ford Focus RS you don't get any pops of banks when you change gear it's literally when you downshift and then come off then you get some noise it's also got operated and lighter Brembo brakes they work seriously good so are those few things as it all together it does make for a serious little car so of course you have some different driving modes you got comfort neutral sports race and perso which I guess stands for personal but now if I put it into race mode that wants to changes the display putting the rev limiter in the center so you can concentrate on when to get those perfect gear changes hairpin bends all day long in this throw it in no hesitation barely any understeer as well which I'm super impressed with so let's test out this little beast by doing a zero to 100 from a standstill and it's go flat down or wheels just spinning too much power going through the front wheels eighty hundred really not too bad and as you can hear you get the beeping sound in sport or race mode to let you know when you should change gears you don't have to look down at the rev limiter there we go listen to that that's ridiculous find a cool little car I loved it the first time I drove it and now the trophy model being that bit more hardcore version and definitely with the exhaust sound that's what it massively missed on the previous model it just did nothing and it was a Magan RS so you do expect something so this for me is what the Megane RS always should have been on the corners it's machine so what this does have is four-wheel steering and I can't even begin to explain how good the four-wheel steering works so if you get one of these you need to bring it to some twisty roads and that for me was a big selling point on the previous one look at this on the hairpins it's ridiculous let's throw it into this one not even any tire screw back around the corner hairpins fan all day long it's so much fun I said from the beginning or starting my youtube channel I am a huge hot hatch fan and that's never changed no matter what super cars I get to drive I will always love driving hot hatches they are just such a blast to drive they don't take themselves too seriously you can really get to experience the car by putting your foot flat down not have to worry that you're doing double the speed limit at the corner oh yes proper fun I will show you all better\n"
