Box Busters Aren't Just a Game! šŸŒŸ

Hello Galaxy: A Collectors' Delight

I'm Chris Perillo, and I'm thrilled to share with you my collection of boxBusters, a series that was always overlooked when I'd see them on store shelves. However, thanks to my friend Slav, who's also a co-producer of our event Galaxy, a pop culture Marketplace, and the owner of a Facebook group with the same name, I've been able to track down these elusive collectibles.

I recently acquired a few boxBusters at a thrift store, and I must say, I was excited to finally have something to add to my collection. Although I haven't actually played the game yet, I'm eager to try it out with my daughter Jedi. For now, we're enjoying the collectible aspect of these items, and I'm happy to have most of them at a fraction of their original cost.

The boxBuster series comes in various packets, each containing Star Wars-themed coins of different colors. These coins are a valuable part of the collection, so it's essential to keep track of them. Some boxBusters also include explosion pieces, such as little die or two, depending on the set. While some pieces come individually, others arrive in pairs. I've found that having duplicates isn't a problem; in fact, it adds to the fun.

When I brought home my first boxBuster, I decided to demonstrate how it works. The Big Box is an excellent starting point, and it unfolds with a scene. To activate the scene, you simply press the Star Wars button on top of the cube. This reveals a fascinating display that's sure to delight any fan of the series.

Now, let me show you some of my collection. I believe this one is Asteroid Chase; while it doesn't have an action-packed scene, it does feature Tie fighters and other characters from the Star Wars universe. The scene is set on Lothal, which was a key location in the Star Wars Rebels series. I've also got The Battle of Geonosis, which looks like a Death Star Trench Run, complete with Imperial walkers.

One of my favorite aspects of these boxBusters is their unique design. When you lay them out, you can see each scene clearly, and it's almost like sitting on the shelf in the store. It's clear that the creators of these boxes wanted to bring a touch of Star Wars magic into our lives. And with nine different items in my collection so far, I'm eager to add more.

I must admit that I was surprised to find all these boxBusters at thrift stores and garage sales. However, Slav has been instrumental in tracking down the harder-to-find pieces for me. His dedication to our community is truly appreciated, and I'm grateful for his help.

If you're a fan of Star Wars or collectibles, I highly recommend checking out these boxBusters. Not only are they fun to play with, but they also add a unique touch to your collection. And if you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to acquire some, just remember: you can often find them at thrift stores and garage sales.

So, what do you say? Would you like to join me in playing games with these boxBusters? I'd be happy to show you how they work and share my collection with you. May the Force be with you, no matter what your interests may be!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello Galaxy I'm Chris Perillo and I'm finally getting a chance to show you my collection of box Busters even though I don't know if you would call these box Busters it was a part of the Box Buster's game series which I kept walking by when I would see the Box Busters on store shelves but then my friend slav who you likely have seen before he's a co-producer of our event Galaxy a pop culture Marketplace that also has a corresponding Facebook group which you should join we're also working on the next galaxy to possibly take place later this year you can join us if you want and you're interested in buying and selling pop culture like I was well anyway he found a couple of these at a thrift store and I'd never really seen them in action I'm going to go ahead and show you for the first demonstration The Big Box as it unfolds you press the Star Wars button on top and then you get the scene so each one of the Box Buster packets come with some Star Wars labeled coins of various colors better not lose those I haven't actually played the boxbuster game yet it also comes with these little explosion pieces like a die or two depending on the set some of the Box buster gain Pieces come individually others come in pairs I've got a couple of duplicates which I don't mind because I think that my daughter Jedi was far more interested in playing with the actual boxes than playing the game so I haven't actually played the game we've only played with the boxes and I'm going to go ahead and show you all of them I believe this one is asteroid Chase I'm not going to put all of them back together again because that would take a long time there's a scene likely on lothal we've got some Tie fighters and the ghost kind of fun like the action of doing this and having everything pop open there's Hoth with some Imperial walkers and other things of course see this would be a lot more fun if we were playing a game it would be more action-packed but I just like the collectible aspect of this and given that I got most of these at a fraction of their original cost I'm very very happy this is the one or at least one of the Box Buster cubes that I didn't realize existed until this weekend I I guess missed it this is the Battle of Geonosis and uh now I think I have every one of them Tuscan Raider attack you can even see a couple of Tuscan Raiders there it's kind of cool like sitting on the store shelf you basically see the scene and this looks like it's a death star Trench Run in fact I think I have like three of these um which is fine because Jedi has a chance to play with them as well you typically will see this item the cube laid out like this so there's no action associated with the actual game and part of the fun is just pressing what you have on top which is very clearly marked Star Wars in fact Jedi knows she'll flip flip the cube continuously until she finds the Star Wars button and then she'll press it and so she's having fun with these I had a couple of duplicates because I had a couple of two packs the only way of getting a couple of these was through a two pack um there is the Battle of Naboo you can see a lot of droids there too and some gungans and then this should be the last one that I have right there another uh I guess now this is definitely lothal if this wasn't I'm pretty sure it is lothal two a scenes and lothal from Star Wars Rebels uh nine of those items and of course the big one which I wasn't originally going to get and I thought well what if I pass it up and then I can't find it again I'd rather kind of be complete with the collection so if I'm missing any of these cubes please let me know because they're a lot of fun to play with uh at least Jedi is enjoying it and then of course as soon as she's ready to start playing games she'll be able to start playing games with me do you want to play games with me well if not May the force be with youhello Galaxy I'm Chris Perillo
