You Might Only Know The Maserati MC12 ... _ EXPERIENCE

A Day with Maserati: Unleashing the Power and Beauty of Italian Luxury

As I stood in front of the majestic Maserati cars, my heart skipped a beat. The iconic Gran Turismo sport caught my attention first, its sleek design and powerful engine beckoning me to take it for a spin. With the 4.7 V8 engine roaring to life, I couldn't resist the urge to hit the track. My day with Maserati had officially begun.

The perfect setting was a beautiful circuit with the sun shining down, making every turn a joy to navigate. I took my time getting familiar with the car's handling and performance, taking advantage of the instructors' guidance to learn from their expertise. But as much as I wanted to soak up all the knowledge, I just couldn't wait to let loose and have some fun on the track. With the first gear clicking into place, I slowly made my way onto the circuit, feeling an overwhelming sense of excitement and anticipation.

As I accelerated down the straightaway, the sound of the engine was truly breathtaking – a symphony of power and agility that left me speechless. The Maserati Gran Turismo sport was a masterclass in balance and harmony, with every component working together to deliver an unparalleled driving experience. With the manual transmission engaging smoothly into gear, I could feel the car's rear end hugging the track as I took each turn, the tires screeching in protest yet somehow still managing to maintain traction.

But it wasn't just about raw speed; the Gran Turismo sport was also a joy to navigate through the technical turns of the circuit. With its responsive steering and precise handling, every corner required focus and attention, but the reward was well worth the effort. The sense of accomplishment I felt as I took each turn with precision and finesse was intoxicating, and I couldn't help but feel a deep connection to this magnificent machine.

Of course, no day with Maserati would be complete without a visit from some of their esteemed classics. As I walked through the fleet of cars on display, my eyes landed on a beautiful Grand Caprio that caught my attention. But it was the 4.7 V8 Gran Turismo sport that truly stole the show – its presence commanding attention and respect. With its doors open, revealing an interior that was both luxurious and playful, I knew that this car would be the perfect companion for the day ahead.

As I settled into the driver's seat, the sound of the engine grew louder, a symphony of power and agility that seemed to come alive as I started the car. With the air conditioning temperature set to perfection, I was ready to take on whatever the track had in store for me. As I pulled away from the starting line, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation – this was going to be a day unlike any other.

The circuit proved to be a technical challenge, with each turn requiring precision and finesse to navigate through successfully. But with the Maserati Gran Turismo sport at my disposal, I felt confident in my ability to tackle even the most demanding corners. With the ESC system disengaged, I was free to push the car to its limits, feeling a sense of freedom and exhilaration as I took each turn.

As the day drew to a close, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to experience the Maserati Gran Turismo sport on track. From its breathtaking sound to its incredible performance and handling, this car had truly exceeded my expectations – and I knew that I would never forget this experience.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys Amy and welcome to Verano in Italy where I am joining master Maserati to have some fun today off-roading and out on the track with some of the Maserati cars but before we get there I want to talk a little bit about the history of Maserati and about what I think you guys know and one car in particular I know that you know is this the mc12 that is a pretty distinct car it's one that you've seen before as well this is Greg B's car that I've filmed with you I think pretty much know everything about it but you don't necessarily know so much about the history of Maserati that we'll touch on very briefly and some of the special cars like that is the last ever manual Maserati they built and then we'll go exploring with some of the more modern and current lineup as well after that so it's a day of Maserati it's the passion of Italian cars let's have some fun like I said I'm gonna start off with a quick run down this lineup of cars that is parked behind me nosing out of the pit garages here so the mc12 we know all about but let's head on further down the 3200 GT a model that came out in 2001 this particular car 30th of December 2006 it has a v8 up front but it's the last car that Maserati ever built with the gearstick this is literally this one no other one this very very car and that was a car I knew quite a lot about growing up when I was learning to drive that was the then-current Maserati it was actually the model they reintroduced to take them back to the American market before this they had been away for over a decade we move on to the Ghibli Spyder early just over 100 or so of these this is pretty rare it was taking the roof off his 1969 car very much wedge in shape four liter engine I think it looks really really nice then we head back a year before 1968 we have the mistral known as the 4000 at the time classic fastback style large rear window again parts of Maseratis history and then look at that the 1961 3500 GT the first car that he made with electric windows but also truly classically elegant about 240 of them built in total about 10% of the 3500 GTS as most Baku pays and in fact they introduced the Spyder to take it over to the US market and then I sold most of them in Italy but that is a very good-looking car let's just wander back quickly pass this little line up towards the current range of Maseratis and the cars that we're going to be exploring a little bit further today as we venture off to some of the activities as part of this whole set up and driving courses and the first thing that we're going to do is head to this Levante that is in front of me the 4x4 four-wheel drive off roader because we're gonna be going exploring in the off-road area and the car I mean I think you probably know it a little bit it's based around the Ghibli but obviously raised up practicality but still drives really quite well as I experienced when I took one out for a test drive then we'll also I think take a look at the Gran Turismo the new Gran Turismo sport for 2018 slightly updated but still with one of the best engine sounds ever known to man it is brilliant and then we have the Ghibli as well the smaller four-door saloon car and there would be a Quattroporte day and a gran Cabrio as well to round out the lineup but that's what we're looking at today should be a fun day ahead it's a little introduction it's what you now know about Maserati if you didn't before but before this let's go exploring we find ourselves then with a little area to go exploring with the Levante so the car sitting in its standard suspension height at the moment but we're going to raise it up as soon as we jump in let's go soaring over this way where there are all sorts of ups and downs and different bits of terrain to try and explore and discover and see what this part can manage and just as I say that I noticed the cars are heading around the track beside me here doesn't that just look cool off it goes all right let's jump into the Levante let's see what it's made of okay you lay on it okay good so what do we need to do with the car so the better fancy is to use the car now in offered one that is the car lift up two centimetres enough okay definitely helps go we've got lots of cameras those all help yeah and it's very important to use the camera when you're up the hill and down wheel because you cannot see over there we go Road minute I see it tells us so we've got hill descent control yeah which isn't activated so when we go downhill the car controls itself it's still enough to eat did you push it okay perfect okay control HDC sudden we activated the front camera and a 360 camera which is cool to have a little look at sir that gives me a view of where we are looking at the screen we have now this first down will and this is a perfect example because I can't see anything you have the nose of the car but cheating and looking at the camera screen gives me a view of what's in front so I let go of the brake it's fantastic yeah cause if you this if you didn't hold it at all the whole car would just plummet down towards the bottom and the suspension at the bottom ahead is incredible that also if you have a lot of mud the ill control can control the speed in any case okay yeah that's pretty rugged again the camera gasps together so afternoon it's so funny pointing up at the sky yeah now we can go in offer two because we have two very deep ramp to go down from this part okay so that's a little bit higher again yeah the car lift up our average centimeters in alpha okay and offered to you can they use it till 40 km/h and off-road one till 80 km/h okay now this is a proper example of I have no idea where we're we're we're pointing right okay so here we go down the first bit it's so controlled and easy it's very easy and to drive this condition you just let the car point down it's too easy it's cheating the car makes everything for you yeah up here and this is another point where is better to use the camera yes streets always the Sun yep perfect it's it just does it all without any stress absolutely it's so easy left and now we have two bigger ramp wanna go up and want to come down okay yeah so so built it from here so need a lot of gas to get up we go okay and we go there and we go down from the swamp okay down and round the corner well okay where are we going yeah leave the brake and write everything for you I'm not touching any pedals when we go down not controlling it at all now we can go up there okay again straight towards the Sun here yep and torque is it's very nice also when we are almost stop the car immediately start over to eat okay that's pretty cool it's very good now we can go go to do some twists okay let's head over you can go okay like this perfect okay I feel like I'm pointing down at the ground right now well that was a walk in the park for the Levante not even breaking a sweat on those inclines it was almost too easy but next we've got the circuit we've got the new Gran Turismo sport that 4.7 v8 is going to roar and I'm looking forward to taking this one out now they have instructors you can look at the telemetry and learn from that and teach and get even further and take even more time out of laps but I'm just gonna go out and have a blast and have some fun in this new car the first time driving it out on a circuit just to myself actually right now I'm spoilt as one of the classics comes back in here passed this lovely grand Caprio that's now here as well the whole fleet of the Maserati cars but this thing 4.7 v8 let's jump in actually just started up because really and truly the sound of this car is astronomical so key is in there we go yep yep that will do that's the noise I like so let's get set let's go out on track here we go then so into drive I'm just going to put the air conditioning temperature up slightly it's blowing at me very cold right now I'll go into manual or in sport mode naturally but even just pulling away in first gear listen to that what a sound so no green light then we go on to the track this is a great great circuit for this kind of thing it's kind technical some of the corners really require you to look at them and work out what you're doing the tire pressures obviously they're slightly under inflated for track driving so as we go rats of laps they warm up traction intervening we don't like that to turn that off have some fun trying not to take the curves too aggressively at the moment this is really a brilliant brilliant drag Phyllis the sound this car is such a nice balance of playful with luxurious nests and glamour of a Maserati all leaning on it and away we go the red line go into the red line so now we're on to those press and hold ESC turns off just straightaway off with one press nice and easily so to see be a little bit more sensible because I don't totally lean on it as the car will be very willing to pounce and misbehave kind of like it's like away we go this is the hall let me shut up and just enjoy the noise of this car okay it's time to take it a little bit easier and cool the car down before heading on in but this is such a great circuit to come out and enjoy and this is so controllable always falling in love with it out here on the track just having fun playing and learning self teaching and experimenting with the car and just kick it out a little bit no it held on too tight on me there again oh well could be worse it's a pretty technical little thing the way you apex on the different corners and here the way you've got the camber again pick out the back a little no it doesn't want to go I'm not being aggressive enough with it last corner we'll head on in what a what an amazing amount of fun peace and quiet here in the pitlane now the day has come to an end and what a day that has been having a look around in this video at some of the classics the history of Maserati and then going out with the Levante and out with the Gran Turismo sports as part of Master Maserati out on the track so it's been rather wonderful I hope you've enjoyed the video and seeing what some of these cars can do I certainly had a lovely lovely day but I'm gonna wrap this one up there big thanks again to master Maserati for the opportunity and I will catch up with you guys again very soon Cheers youhi guys Amy
