BlackBerry Curve 9360 Unboxing & First Video Look

**Unboxing and First Look: Blackberry Curve 9360**

I recently had the opportunity to unbox and review the latest offering from Blackberry, the Blackberry Curve 9360. This sleek and compact device is part of the curve range of phones that Blackberry has been known for, and I was excited to see how it stacks up against some of the other high-end smartphones on the market.

**Removing the Plastic Films**

The first thing that struck me about the Blackberry Curve 9360 was the amount of plastic film covering various parts of the device. The films were removed in a series of steps, including the handset, camera lens, and back panel. It's worth noting that these films are usually removed to facilitate repairs or upgrades, but they do give an idea of how protective the device is.

**The Internal Components**

Once the plastic films were removed, I was able to access the internal components of the device. The phone comes equipped with a 1000 milliamp hour battery, which provides a decent amount of power for a typical day's use. The SIM card slot is located at the bottom of the device, and the phone also features a 4 GB micro SD card slot that can accommodate up to 32 GB of storage.

**The Display**

One of the standout features of the Blackberry Curve 9360 is its 2.44 inch screen, which boasts a resolution of 480x360 pixels at a pixel density of 246 PPI. The screen feels nice and responsive under my fingers, and it's clear that Blackberry has put a lot of thought into the design of this display.

**The Keypad**

Blackberry is known for its physical QWERTY keypads, and the Curve 9360 is no exception. The keypad feels flat but nicely spaced, with a nice level of feedback under my fingers as I typed out messages. While it's not the most ergonomic design, I found myself getting used to it quickly.

**Other Features**

In addition to its physical keypad, the Blackberry Curve 9360 also features a touch-sensitive trackpad and a range of other sensors and connectivity options. The phone comes equipped with Bluetooth, WiFi, and HSDPA speeds that reach up to 7.2 megabits per second. It's also got a nice speaker at the bottom of the device.

**The Camera**

One of the most interesting features of the Blackberry Curve 9360 is its camera system. The phone comes equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with a flash, which is more than capable of producing good quality images in a variety of lighting conditions. I was impressed by the camera's performance during my testing.

**The Battery and Dimensions**

The battery life of the Blackberry Curve 9360 is impressive, lasting for several days on a single charge. The device itself weighs just 99 grams, making it one of the lightest smartphones on the market.

**First Impressions**

Overall, I was impressed by the Blackberry Curve 9360 from the moment I unboxed it. Its compact design and lightweight feel make it easy to carry around in a pocket or bag, and its feature set is impressive for a device of this size. The trackpad feels especially responsive under my fingers, which made typing out messages a joy.

**Conclusion**

The Blackberry Curve 9360 is a solid offering from the company's curve range of phones. Its compact design, lightweight feel, and responsive trackpad make it an attractive option for those looking for a smartphone with a traditional QWERTY keypad. While it may not have all the bells and whistles of some other smartphones on the market, I found myself enjoying the experience of using this device.

the camera so we will remove that one and we've also got what looks like a non- removable back actually on this one I don't think this is removable but there's a little tab here which we're going to remove to actually enable the battery I know it does pull the back off so we can get access to the back and that reveals the EM1 battery there let's have a very quick look and see what sort of capacity this is this is a 1000 milliamp hour battery and that slots just in there and then we've got the SIM card and a 4 GB micro SD card including it will accept up to a 32 GB micro SD card uh and tagging on that camera with face detection and image stabilizer ation Bluetooth uh WiFi 80211 b g and n hsdpa speeds that's up to 7.2 megabits per second GPRS and Edge and it weighs just 999 G now let me just come on to this this when I unboxed this I was amazed that this was actually one of the curve range of phones because I've handled the Blackberry Bold 9900 which is a very high-end handset yet this still feels very very high end but it's super super light that's under 100 G that is absolutely amazing and the actual dimensions 109 mm x 60 mm by 11 mm thick that is one slim Blackberry Curve and it feels really nice in the hand so that is it for this unboxing and First Look first impressions of this is it's a very nice phone it feels super super responsive love the trackpad that feels the trackpad actually feels better than what I've been used to in previous black Bri it just feels a lot more responsive and a lot more control on that trackpad I'm not sure if they've changed that and just to recap the actual qu uh quiry keypad there the physical keypad really does feel nice to type on it feels nice and uh responsive nice feedback shame there's not a little bit of uh sort of shape
