Moto X Style Gaming Review with Temp Check

Introduction to the Moto X Style Gaming Review

Hi there, and welcome back to my channel. I'm Ranjit, and today we're going to be reviewing the gaming capabilities of this Moto X style also known as Moto X pure and samata regions. This device has caught our attention, and we're excited to put it through its paces in a series of games.

Testing Unkilled

We'll start with a casual game to get a feel for the device's performance. The first game we'll be playing is Unkilled, a popular FPS game. As expected, it's running very smoothly, and as you can see from the gameplay footage, it's very responsive. One of the notable features of this device is its front-firing speakers, which are stereo speakers that are both loud and immersive. I'll fire some rockets to demonstrate their quality, and as you can see, there's no problem playing this game on this device.

Checking Temperatures

As some of you have requested, we'll also be checking the temperatures of the device after extended gaming. We've been playing Unkilled for a while now, and it's time to check how hot it's getting. As you can see from the screen, the temperature is around 42°C at this point. Let's take a look at the back of the device and see if it's warm to the touch.

Gaming Experience with Asphalt 8

Next up, we'll be playing one of the most popular racing games on the market: Asphalt 8. We'll be playing it on the highest graphics settings, which means this game will be visually stunning. The device is handling the game beautifully, and the front-firing speakers are adding to the immersive experience. As you can see, explosions and other effects are really coming to life because of these loud and clear speakers.

Checking Temperatures Again

As we continue playing Asphalt 8, let's check in on the temperature again. We've been gaming for over 16 minutes now, and as you can see from the screen, the temperature has risen slightly, but it's still within a safe range. Let's take a closer look at the back of the device to see if there are any signs of overheating.

Gaming Experience with Modern Combat 5

Next up, we'll be playing another popular FPS game: Modern Combat 5. This is the fourth level, and as you can see from the gameplay footage, it's running smoothly and responding well to our inputs. The device is handling the game beautifully, and there are no signs of lag or stuttering.

Gaming Experience with NOA 3

We'll also be testing the device on a third-party game called NOA 3. As you can see from the gameplay footage, it's running smoothly and playing well. There are no issues with performance, and the front-firing speakers are still adding to the immersive experience.

Checking Temperatures for the Final Time

As we wrap up our gaming session, let's take one last look at the temperature of the device. We've been gaming for over 30 minutes now, and as you can see from the screen, the temperature has risen significantly. As you can touch the back of the device, it's feeling quite warm to the touch.

Testing Model Combat X

Finally, we'll be testing one more game on the device: Model Combat X. Unfortunately, this game didn't run smoothly on our device, and we experienced some lagging issues. This is consistent with our experience with other devices that have the same Adreno 418 GPU as this Moto X style.

Conclusion

Overall, our gaming review of the Moto X style has shown that it's a capable device for playing games. The front-firing speakers are adding to the immersive experience, and the device is handling most games smoothly. However, with extended gaming sessions, we did notice some warming up of the back of the device, which could be a concern for some users.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and I have this Moto X style also known as Moto X pure and samata regions and in this video we'll be doing the gaming review with this uh device and we'll start with some casual games and then quickly move to heavy game so let's start with unkilled so this is unkilled uh FPS game and as expected it's running very smooth and it's very smooth as you can see in terms of game play and it has these front firing speakers and they are stereo speakers and they're very loud let me fire some Rockets So as you can see you'll have no problems playing this uh game and we'll also check the temperatures uh after some extended gaming because some of you have asked me to do that so let me just get out of this one and let's move to some other heavier games so this is asphal 8 and let me actually show you the graphics settings as you can see we are going to play it on the highest Graphics settings and I'm going to use the on screen steering so let's play a few levels so this is Asal 8 and we are playing it on the highest graphic setting and it is very smooth even drifts I'm doing and the good thing about this device is that due to those front firing speakers it's a very immersive experience that you get and they are actually really loud I'm not at the max volume because it's actually very loud at max volume so as you can see those explosions Etc uh they really come to life because of these front firing speakers and they give you that stereo effect while you play the game as you can see it's playing it very well so you'll have actually a very good experience playing this Asal Aid on this uh device as you can see so that's level is done and let's look at the temperatures and as you can see on the screen it's about 42° C that we can register let's look at the back and here again about 42 this metallic this is the metallic uh plate and it was getting slightly warm and here it is as you can see about 43° C uh so the back actually feel feels a bit warm after gaming but let's continue but regarding the game play on asphal 8 I did not notice any lagginess so let's just get out of this one now so this is Modern Combat 5 and I believe this is the fourth level so as you can see it plays This Modern Combat 5 very well even in this advanced level so you'll have no problems playing Modern Combat 5 on this uh Moto X style so this is NOA 3 and let's see how it handles this one and I have to say it is smooth in game play look up Niger place up Commander so continuing so as you can see it's running this NOA 3 very smooth uh no issues really nice and smooth game play Let's this lava grenade there so as you can see it's running this NOA 3 also fine let's now look at the temperatures because it's over 16 minutes since we were gaming and this uh strip get is getting a bit warm sir no sir and as you can see it's going about almost 40 4° we can take that as we need a defensive perimeter this area it is again about 44° c as you can see it did touch 44 and here on the screen it's again about 43° c as you can see almost 40 for so definitely uh it this back is warm to touch uh but if you put your finger here it feels a lot warmer compared to this one because this is plastic and it does not transmit the heat that much but this metallic trim it does feel a bit on the hotter side with extended gaming I also actually tried one more game but that did not run and that was the model Combat X and I had similar U uh results with the LG G4 that also has the same chipset that is having the adreno 418 GPU and on the LG G4 also the modal Combat X did not run but apart from that game all the games I tested ran fine on this Modo X style so even for gaming this Moto X style is a good phone but again you have to remember with extended gaming if you do continuous gaming over 15 minutes certainly the back tends to get a bit warm and it can also touch up to 45° C I'll also be posting the full in-depth review for this Moto X style very soon so stay tuned to my channel thanks for watching this is Ranjit and I hope to see you in my next video\n"
