**Testing the Android Mini PC as a Media Streaming Device**

In this article, we put the Android Mini PC through its paces to see how well it can function as a media streaming device. We attached a USB thumb drive loaded with video content and connected a wireless mouse for convenience. Our setup consisted of the Android Mini PC, a USB thumb drive containing various videos in different formats, and a television.

**Playing Back Videos**

We started by playing back some of the smaller clips from our USB stick using the standard video player that came pre-installed on the device. The first clip was a 720p video, which played back smoothly without any issues. We were able to scrub around quickly without any problems and it did so with ease. Next, we played back a 1080p video in a high bit rate, which again played back without any issues. In fact, the device handled the high-definition content with no problem at all.

We also tested playing back an MTS video in 1080p, which was another test of the device's capabilities. Again, we were impressed by how smoothly it played back, even with a lot of action on screen. The lack of any skipping or frame issues was a clear indication that this Android Mini PC is more than capable of playing back 1080p content.

But we didn't stop there - we also wanted to see how well the device could stream video content from online sources. We connected the Android Mini PC to our router via Wi-Fi and opened up the YouTube app to test its streaming capabilities. We then selected a random YouTube video and hit play, which streamed smoothly in full screen mode without any problems. Android mini P see and as you can see it plays that back without any issues so let me get out of this one also and there's one more 1 1080p video that I have and it has a lot of action so as you can see does not skip any frames or anything like that it's pretty smooth as you can see no issues playing back 1080p content and uh this is one more MTS video and again this is a 1080p video and as you can see again it plays it back without any issues so let me get out of it so as you can see we can easily use this as a media player to play back movies and video content by attaching it to this uh Android Mini PC and now what I'm going to show you is the streaming capabilities I am connected to uh my router via Wi-Fi this device has built-in Wi-Fi and now uh first I'm going to show you I'm going to open this YouTube app and we're going to stream some content and let's see if it can playback that without any issues and this is the uh YouTube interface it's the tablet interface that we get and we can quickly move around let me take one of my own videos let me see if we have it and yeah this is one of the videos that I recently shot it's a osus uh and let me skip this add and put it in full screen and again as you can see it streams the content without any issues I tested this YouTube app for about 2 2 and a half hours and it works beautifully I would say let me get out and we also get the full uh features I can go to my account and I can see my all my subscriptions over here and that also works and let's play a video from wi tech one one of my favorite YouTubers and let's select one of our random videos and again I'm going to go into the full screen mode now the house asking me to about to BU one out for you right now y'all here we go here we go back the content
