Unboxing the MekaMon Berserker Version 2: A Revolutionary Interactive Robot

We're here on SuperSaf TV, and I'm excited to bring you an unboxing of the MekaMon Berserker version two, courtesy of Reach Robotics. This is an interactive and agile four-legged app-enabled gaming robot with some awesome features that we'll be taking a look at today.

As we take a closer look at the box, we can see a picture of the MekaMon Berserker version two on the front, along with Next Level Robotics, Gaming and AR. On the back of the box, we've got some highlights that showcase the robot's capabilities. One of the exciting features is the ability to engage in single or multiplayer strategic battles. Not only can you play with a friend who has a MekaMon Robot, but if you don't have a friend, you can still enjoy single-player mode and utilize advanced augmented reality for seriously cool interactive gameplay.

Now that we've got our robot out of the box, let's take a look at what else comes with it. As expected, there's a quick start guide, a product information guide, a battery charger unit, four training shields, and two Fury rifles. Before we power up the robot, we'll attach the Fury rifles and training shields, which snap on easily. Next, we'll deal with the battery unit, which is waking up as we speak. The legs are moving, and everything seems to be balanced perfectly. It's amazing how it's getting familiar with its surroundings, thinking "who is this beard?"

Now that our robot is fully awake, we can download and install the dedicated MekaMon app, available on both iOS and Android devices. We'll connect the app to the MekaMon, and voilà! We've got a few different modes to explore. Let's start with FREEDRIVE, a free play exploratory pilot mode that lets you fully control your MekaMon bot. On the left side of the controller, we can move our robot left and right, forward and backwards, while using the right hand side to rotate it.

But wait, there's more! We also have control over the speed, steps, stance, and even body height. Currently, the body height is at 30%, but we can easily change this to 100% or all the way down to zero when our robot is resting. What's really impressive is how responsive the MekaMon is to the app. With a quick move up to 74%, we see that it responds remarkably fast. You also have access to animations, such as system animations like power down, which look almost... canine. There are also animations like tail wag, giving you a sense of the robot's personality.

Now things get really interesting when we enter battle mode. Here, you can set up a battle with up to three other players if they have a MekaMon bot, or enjoy single-player in AR. This uses your smartphone camera to set up an AR battlefield where your physical MekaMon can interact and battle with virtual MekaMon bots. There are different forms of attack, including a primary light attack that's quick but won't cause as much damage, and a secondary heavy attack that causes more damage but takes longer.

As you progress through battles, you'll move up the ranks, and if you're out and about without your MekaMon bot with you, don't worry – you can still play with a virtual MekaMon bot inside the app in AR. This is pretty cool to get some practice in. And that's it, guys! That's the MekaMon Berserker version 2, a really fun and interactive piece of kit.
