The Thrills and Frustrations of Playing Mario Maker

As I sat down to play Mario Maker, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and trepidation. I had heard so much about this game from friends and online communities, and I was eager to try it out for myself. But as soon as I started playing, I realized that I wasn't going to be as good at it as I thought I would be.

I made my way through the levels, trying to navigate through the various obstacles and challenges that came my way. But no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't seem to get it right. I would jump and twirl in all the wrong directions, and watch in horror as my character fell into pits and got squished by enemies. It was like I had forgotten everything I knew about video games.

As I played, I couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration and disappointment. I kept expecting to find some hidden secret or trick that would allow me to succeed, but it never seemed to come. Instead, I found myself stuck on the same spot over and over again, trying different things and getting nowhere. It was like I had been hit by a brick wall of failure.

But despite my frustration, I couldn't help but feel a sense of amusement at my own ineptitude. I mean, who expects to fail so spectacularly in a game that's supposed to be fun? I found myself laughing out loud as I watched my character fall into the abyss time and time again. It was like I had become a spectator in my own game, watching myself make mistake after mistake.

At one point, I found a level with a 23% clear rate, which seemed like an impossible task to me. But I decided to give it a try anyway, just for kicks. And as I played, I realized that maybe I wasn't as stupid as I thought I was. Maybe I just needed to think outside the box and try something different.

As I continued to play, I started to notice things about the game that I hadn't noticed before. Like how some of the levels were hidden in plain sight, waiting for me to discover them if I paid close enough attention. Or how some of the enemies had funny animations that made me laugh out loud. It was like I was seeing the game in a whole new light.

But just when I thought I was getting the hang of it, I'd stumble upon something that would throw me off completely. Like the time I found a level with a grandfather clock that started playing music. Or the time I discovered that some of the levels had secret doors and hidden passages. It was like the game was playing tricks on me, keeping me on my toes.

As I played on, I started to realize that Mario Maker wasn't just about completing levels - it was about having fun. Even when I failed, which was often, I couldn't help but laugh at myself and keep going. It was like I had found a new hobby, one that brought me joy and excitement even in the face of failure.

Eventually, I decided to take on the challenge of beating a level with a 476% completion rate. And as I waited patiently for my character to reach that milestone, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. What would happen when I finally got there? Would it be a sense of triumph and accomplishment, or just another case of failure?

In the end, I didn't make it. But even though I failed, I knew that I had still learned something valuable from playing Mario Maker. I had learned to laugh at myself and not take things too seriously. And I had discovered a new appreciation for the game's clever design and hidden secrets.

As I closed out my session with Mario Maker, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. Maybe I wasn't as good at the game as I thought I was, but I had still managed to have fun and learn something new. And who knows? Maybe next time I'll be able to beat that level with a 476% completion rate. But until then, I'm just going to enjoy the ride and see where it takes me.

the bad but I can get rid of the bad and do the good a oh frankly that was pretty amazing I'm actually pretty happy about this oh this is what actually creative levels can do I did a good choice I feel so oh oh okay oh I felt so good about myself I was sure that I did something wrong wait how do I do this oh it's going to do the thing I can't make it I'm too big okay so this one titties sprinkles okay how about this one bing bong so what is this going to do that's so creative and interesting oh this is so cool oh this is really cool oh no wonder this person has a lot of yes I I'm totally guessing at this point so I'm not entirely sure I'm going to be actually good thank you okay so now I got that and now I can Oh I thought that was going to be a trap or something I'm guessing the I'm guessing this one what the hell is wrong with that thing well thank you for the gift but I'm trying to wonder what the hell is wrong with that oh my God that's going to haunt my nightmares level is this what Mario maker is supposed to be oh man that's so cool oh it's so cool okay so now that I got a good relatively easy level out of the way even though I was a little confused in the beginning there I will get a hard level now but not too hard not Ross level of hard it doesn't need to be that hard to be fun it could be a little challenging I guess there's a reason why Nintendo has been so successful in everything that they've been doing but I don't know I have no idea so this particular person this lady here is actually uh the number one most starred level Creator in all of Super Mario maker and she's got a ton of levels oh oh wow that has a lot of stars in it what kind of clear rate a I forget the controls there we go world record is two seconds godamn I don't know if I can do that but I'm going to give it a go I don't know if I'm going to succeed but I have a funny feeling I'm going to fail spectacularly at least it'll be fun in that regard hello I forgot that there
