Welcome to My First Taste of Norway: A Sweet Journey with Ellie
Hello and welcome back to my channel, lovelies! It's Emy, and I'm excited to share with you a little taste of Norway that was sent to me by a viewer named Ellie. Thank you so much for sending me this little package, Ellie, and for introducing me to the sweet side of Norway.
To start our journey, let's take a look at where Norway is located. In case you don't know, Norway is situated in the Scandinavia region, north of Central Europe. It's a beautiful country with stunning landscapes and a rich culture. I never had the chance to visit Norway myself, but it's definitely on my bucket list.
Now, let's talk about the candies that Ellie sent me from Norway. She told me that she loves this candy called Leon Segmen, which is made by the company NADA. The reason why she likes this candy so much is because each of the little jelly snacks has its own unique flavor. There's Nas, pineapple; App, Orange; Epla, Apple; Citron, lemon; Babad, raspberry... and many more! They look like little jelly or gummy gingerbread men, don't they? Each one has its own personality, with this one being a bit jazzer-sized lately, while that one is very upright and law-abiding.
As I try each of these candies, I notice that they all have the same texture, which is quite similar to just a regular gummy bear. However, when it comes to the flavors, each one is unique and delicious in its own way. For example, the pineapple flavor is quite subtle, while the lemon flavor is nice and tart. And then there's the raspberry flavor, which I think might be my favorite so far.
Next up, we have another candy called Appin, which sounds like apple but is actually orange. I'm not sure what to expect from this one, but I'm excited to find out! As soon as I take a bite, I realize that it's true - the flavor is quite different from what I expected. It's nice and citrusy, with just the right amount of sweetness.
Now, let's talk about the chocolate bar that Ellie sent me from Norway. This one is made by the company Freya, which is one of the largest chocolate manufacturers in Norway. The chocolate bar is called Milk Chada, and it's a milk chocolate treat that's been made to celebrate Edvard Monke's 150th birthday. I have to say, this bar looks stunning with its beautiful packaging and little bird embossed on it.
As I break into the bar, I realize that it's quite sweet and milky, which is exactly what I love about milk chocolate. The percentage of cocoa mass in this bar is relatively low, around 30%, but that's okay because it still tastes rich and decadent. Ellie tells me that this bar is perfect for taking on walks or hikes, which sounds like the perfect snack to me!
Finally, let's talk about another candy bar that Ellie sent me from Norway. This one is similar to a Kit Kat bar, with chocolate on the outside and wafer cookies inside. However, instead of being emblazoned with the word "Kit Kat" on the packaging, this bar has a little bird on it. I'm not sure what kind of bird it is, but Ellie tells me that it's very similar to a Kit Kat bar.
As I break into this bar, I realize that it's exactly what I expected - delicious chocolate and crunchy wafer cookies. The texture is similar to a Kit Kat bar, with just the right amount of crunch and sweetness. I have to say, I'm quite fond of this bar!
Thank you so much, Ellie, for sharing these sweet treats with me from Norway. It's been an absolute delight trying them and learning about the different flavors and textures that Norway has to offer. And thank you, lovelies, for watching my video and joining me on this culinary journey! Don't forget to subscribe and hit that notification bell for more foodie adventures in the future.
In other news, I want to share with you all that I've been eating 24 countries now - can you believe it? It's a bit of a sad ending to our MMA match analogy, but I'm not complaining! In fact, I'm feeling quite full and content after this delicious journey through Norway. Until next time, lovelies, stay sweet and keep on snacking!
