My Personal $450 i5 4460 _ GTX 1060 Budget Gaming PC

**Behind-the-Scenes: My Personal PC Setup**

As a tech enthusiast and bargain hunter, I'm often asked about my personal PC setup. How much did each component cost? Would I recommend building something similar to this one? Today, I'll be sharing my personal system specs, including the components I used and how much they cost.

**My Personal System Specs**

I've put together an Intel Core i5 4460 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 system for around £350 or $450. The build consists of an ASRock H81M-PLUS Micro ATX motherboard, 8GB of DDR3 RAM from Crucial Ballistics, a 500GB Western Digital hard drive, a 550W Corsair power supply, and the MSI Mini GT X 1060 graphics card.

**The Build Process**

When it comes to building my PC, I've learned that using the standard method of saving money can be effective. Instead of buying brand-new components at full price, I opt for used parts or look for deals on older models that still offer great performance. This approach has allowed me to save a significant amount of money while still getting a powerful system.

**Using Refurbished and Used Components**

One of the ways I save money is by using refurbished and used components. I've bought several components from eBay, including two of my motherboard, which I purchased at different prices. The seller offered a 2-year warranty, and with eBay's buyer protection, there was minimal risk involved. Similarly, I've used RAM that I had previously purchased for another build. While it may not be the newest model, it still offers great performance and is a fraction of the cost.

**The Case**

My system is housed in a small case from CIT, which has plenty of room for extra fans and other components. The mini-ITX form factor allows me to keep costs down while still delivering excellent performance.

**Gaming Performance**

Despite using an older graphics card, I've found that my system can still deliver great gaming performance. With the GTX 1060, I'm able to play most current games at 1080p with 60 frames per second. While it may not be as powerful as some newer systems, this build should suffice for many gamers on a budget.

**Conclusion**

My personal PC setup is a testament to the fact that you don't have to break the bank to get a great system. By using refurbished and used components, I've saved money while still getting excellent performance. If you're looking to build something similar to this one, I recommend keeping an eye out for deals on older models or buying used components from reputable sellers.

**Additional Notes**

If I had paid full price for each component, the total cost would have been significantly higher. However, by using refurbished and used parts, I was able to stay within my budget. Additionally, if you do decide to build something similar, be sure to check out my friend Darren's Channel, where he posted some gameplay of Tekken 7.

**Final Thoughts**

I'm proud of the system I've built, and I hope it provides inspiration for others looking to save money on their PC setup. With a total cost of £354 or $459, this build offers excellent value for those who are willing to invest time and effort into finding great deals.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello everyone and welcome to another video now a common question I get on this channel is what are my personal PC specs well today we're going to be talking about my personal setup how much I paid for each component and whether or not I would recommend a build similar to this one now a lot of the time some of your favorite YouTubers behind the scenes have Ultra expensive systems that they use for editing gaming and things along those lines now I have to admit if I had have paid full price for the components in my system it would have come to a lot more however using the uh standard method of trying to save money which you know I'm all about I managed to save a pretty decent Fair chunk of cash on this build and put together an i5 4460 and GTX 1060 system for around £350 or $450 is that right oh it's right yeah so without further Ado let's get into it and I'll talk you through my personal setup and how you can build one similar hopefully for a pretty close price so it's not much to look at from the outside but it gets the job done and I paid a very good sum for each of these components which I will get into more detail about in a minute as you can see we've got an aftermarket call it installed which is an optional uh10 roughly $12 extra that I found on sale I haven't included it in the final price because the stock caller will do just fine if you want to build something similar to this I've also got the Mini GT X 1060 in there and even with all the stuff crammed in this small case here we've still got quite a bit of room inside for extra fans and things like that so as you can see the full specs here we've got the 4460 crucial ballistics DDR3 RAM and MSI h81 mp33 Bard a mini 1060 a Corsair 550 W power supply a 500 GB Western Digital hard drive and the uh stand black case which is from CIT for a total cost of £354 roughly $459 a price that I've got to be honest I'm pretty proud of so as I show you all of the uh individual prices for the components paid on screen here I just want to talk about the 1060 in the system because a lot of you said I would regret that decision having uh bought this up though I'm happy to say that I don't you will still be able to play most current games at 1080p with 60 frames per second that are out right now and if like me you guys out there are Keen bargain hunters as well you may be able to find the prices even cheaper if you hunt around because I have just directly converted it from pounds to dollars if anything sometimes I regret buying a brand new card instead of hunting around for something older and perhaps equally as powerful that I could have saved a lot of money on but I guess it's too late for that so let's go ahead and jump into some games here and I'm going to talk a little bit more about this system whilst I put the gaml up on the screen here for you guys so I know this is a little bit more expensive than usual but I wanted to bring you this video today because a lot of you were asking questions about my personal PC and I felt that if you've got a little bit more money to spend and you are a keen Bargain Hunter you may be able to put something similar together for the same sort of price providing you don't mind buying used components of course now a lot of these components in this video you may have seen before featured in other videos and to be honest yes I have used the ram before in other budget builds and I've also bought the same Ram again since albeit for a little bit higher in price I think the motherboard I may have bought two of in the past as well for different prices but I'm all about snapping up those Bargains when I see them and as for why I didn't buy all these things new well a lot of the you stuff because I bought it from C came with a 2-year warranty anyway and what with eBay buyer protection there really isn't that much of a risk as there used to be with used parts so guys I hope you've enjoyed this little look at my personal rig today if you did leave a like if you didn't leave a dislike sub to the channel if you haven't done so already and hopefully I'll see you all in the next one also if you'd like to see something a little bit different go and check out my friend Darren's Channel because we have posted some gameplay of Tekken 7 on there so if you want to see me lose badly uh playing video games
