My Personal $450 i5 4460 _ GTX 1060 Budget Gaming PC

**Behind-the-Scenes: My Personal PC Setup**

As a tech enthusiast and bargain hunter, I'm often asked about my personal PC setup. How much did each component cost? Would I recommend building something similar to this one? Today, I'll be sharing my personal system specs, including the components I used and how much they cost.

**My Personal System Specs**

I've put together an Intel Core i5 4460 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 system for around £350 or $450. The build consists of an ASRock H81M-PLUS Micro ATX motherboard, 8GB of DDR3 RAM from Crucial Ballistics, a 500GB Western Digital hard drive, a 550W Corsair power supply, and the MSI Mini GT X 1060 graphics card.

**The Build Process**

When it comes to building my PC, I've learned that using the standard method of saving money can be effective. Instead of buying brand-new components at full price, I opt for used parts or look for deals on older models that still offer great performance. This approach has allowed me to save a significant amount of money while still getting a powerful system.

**Using Refurbished and Used Components**

One of the ways I save money is by using refurbished and used components. I've bought several components from eBay, including two of my motherboard, which I purchased at different prices. The seller offered a 2-year warranty, and with eBay's buyer protection, there was minimal risk involved. Similarly, I've used RAM that I had previously purchased for another build. While it may not be the newest model, it still offers great performance and is a fraction of the cost.

**The Case**

My system is housed in a small case from CIT, which has plenty of room for extra fans and other components. The mini-ITX form factor allows me to keep costs down while still delivering excellent performance.

**Gaming Performance**

Despite using an older graphics card, I've found that my system can still deliver great gaming performance. With the GTX 1060, I'm able to play most current games at 1080p with 60 frames per second. While it may not be as powerful as some newer systems, this build should suffice for many gamers on a budget.

**Conclusion**

My personal PC setup is a testament to the fact that you don't have to break the bank to get a great system. By using refurbished and used components, I've saved money while still getting excellent performance. If you're looking to build something similar to this one, I recommend keeping an eye out for deals on older models or buying used components from reputable sellers.

**Additional Notes**

If I had paid full price for each component, the total cost would have been significantly higher. However, by using refurbished and used parts, I was able to stay within my budget. Additionally, if you do decide to build something similar, be sure to check out my friend Darren's Channel, where he posted some gameplay of Tekken 7.

**Final Thoughts**

I'm proud of the system I've built, and I hope it provides inspiration for others looking to save money on their PC setup. With a total cost of £354 or $459, this build offers excellent value for those who are willing to invest time and effort into finding great deals.
