on the desktop obviously but look at this someone has made a best car steel iphone 10 case so i could browse in real time or see it zoom in zoom out even see it in different colors uh i can address the orientation top left front etc etc uh the color i can change to let's say well it's it's a perfect best car color uh i can reset it if i wanted to take a snapshot of it if i was on an iphone or specifically the the the phone that would support the ar feature natively you could actually pull this object out if it was hosted on fangs and see it in real life like in real life like what it would start going blind believe it or not it is more challenging to build with one color in that sense because at least with colored bricks you you can better ascertain positions versus a a mono color it's so there's it's no there's no plot they're just basically showcasing different biomes which you know for the science nerds is really fun uh what's our view like here give me a moment okay that's good sorry i'm having to like triple check things the show is on disney plus and it's called biomes because that it's the uh it's just just like the word that's a real word biomes got two purples here got two purples got two tans got a uh darth vader specific brick you have to move that but right here unique plate put that there four four it's very relaxing yes you like the ship walk through clips yeah here this was the the target exclusive which i liked but between the actually you know between the two i think i like the the first one that they did better no stickers for one and maybe slightly smaller in size but um this one was a target exclusive at least for a brief while no unique bricks but you know it's the best this one's a little larger with the unique name plates but between the two actually i think i like the style of this one a little more even though i think the polish on the uh the the bigger bust is a little more substantial let's go ahead and reposition y'all so now i can say that i built the bust i'm sorry everybody actually you can't see that screen so i'm not going to worry about it dude so love me the lego sets love them love them love them love them love the lego it's pretty well designed like on all sides you can tell it was 3d printed in two pieces and they waited it right it's it's weighted uh but the let's see here how did they do this i'm trying to guess i don't think it's the same model that i'm using uh this steel ingot and it's like i said it's weighted and you can see that the the bottom part has got um it's kind of it was attached here or glued here because they haven't released disney has not really released an ingot um prop like outright so the only way to get a steel ingot is to basically buy one or print one so i'm this is one of the reasons why i'm effectively printing this one uh just to see how it turns out because i may prefer it over the one that i have at which point i'll pass this ingot onto jedi this one's they definitely stuck something heavy in there so it's definitely weighted the one that i have i i'm just going solid and not going to worry so much about the weight the weight is kind of fun it does make it a little interesting but i'm not sold on the idea of a weight a wait for it i don't know if there's any other let's let's go let's go ahead and while we're waiting for this to print go back to the uh pouring sand in the ingot no they may have done that but i can't hear anything so they i think they stuck something in there and melted it because it it feels like solid like there's nothing shaking around shogun props says it's a good idea it is a good idea you're looking for a weighted one but i figured the way out the way i'm looking at i'm like you know it's it's more for visual i'm not looking for something to be precise and i kind of wanted i wanted to try my hand at printing this and i just got to the point where um you know with this color filament i'm like what else is gray that might be on the bed if i was printing this way versus this way this way i feel would have introduced more wobble the higher up it went with you know such a low footprint with the the bed oh replica props for i've not gone that far i'm seeing some layer lines and we'll see how well that works out in the end here's a question could i do um could i do some light sanding to minimize those layer lines some printing found that by way of fangs.com they are sponsored i would be curious to know so what settings are you using i'd be curious to know oh that's the one okay great um are using 0.1 mm layer height because i'm 0.15 at a hundred percent fifty but i'm using fifteen percent infill which is i think more than sufficient here do interesting i'm on a prusa mini i'm not sure i have the same settings as you do and i use prusa slicer so i'm not sure if i have the same sierras asked did i change the flow of the filament coming out of the nozzle filament looks thicker than mine no this is just all default um sierras nothing different um it's the 0.4 mm nozzle didn't change any of the flow or retraction this is just basically default um shouldn't be thicker maybe it is the filament itself that appears thicker this is the printedsolid.com jessepla overcast gray no there's definitely not a wall it is a best car steel ingot it does look like a wall and it's got by the way the recent software update basically seemingly has botched like uh certain features that i use with uh thunderbolt dock and that that only manifests itself when i'm doing the stream it's just it's bizarre but um take care big sports fan uh it is it is i would say the the best for me windows 10 i really should say windows has so much promise and i could see myself i mean i do use it i mean the stream me streaming here what what i'm using i'm using a windows pc to stream it's a dedicated pc an intel nook that i use specifically for the stream that's that's pretty much it like anything that's stream related it's that um but like using it as like a default like my go-to there were suggestions that windows 10 x was going to be released and it was it would it's kind of a reimagining or evolution of windows then today the rumor hit that windows 10 was actually getting sidelined and a lot of those things are just going to be baked into windows outright which i don't think is the wrong way i think it's absolutely the right way but windows has to clean up its cruft to me that's that's really what holds it back um it's it's got one foot squarely planted in a legacy visual past uh or a visual legacy pass i'm not sure how to say that right now but um the sun valley update that microsoft is going to be pushing later this year i'm very much looking forward to i want to see just how much windows still looks like windows just how much windows is still around and they've got to eliminate a lot of legacy stuff for me to get even close to being interested apart from that i'm i'm like my go-to i'm i'm good with mac os mobile i can't stand ios so it's not like oh you're an apple fan no not really every day i use android io i'm using ios i'm using an ipad os i'm using windows and mac i'm using like every platform i android i use every freaking platform on a daily basis so i know what the hell it's not like i've locked myself away i use pretty much every popular platform every day you have nothing against mac os itself personally can't bring yourself by the hardware see that's the funny thing caffeinated linux you know what's funny about that statement that you made for me i don't care about the hardware like i want a good software experience i don't care how much it costs i don't care what it is i don't care what it's running on i want a good software experience and right now for my personal needs what i enjoy and what i appreciate the hardware is a second to software and i i'm not it's like i said it's buggy you know i'm i'm running into issues i don't know what the issues are they just cropped up uh with the recent um and i've mitigated it by unplugging the dock i've gotta re reach out to the manufacturer of that dock just to let them know um but the uh windows is is i'm fine with using the pc because it's very powerful it's so powerful and it's compatible and it works i don't but i don't want to use it i don't want to use it on a like this is what i might my go-to it's what i have everything on it's how i and i don't want to deal with any of that i don't not interested at all um so i could see myself using windows again and enjoying using windows i should say if and when they can just clean up their legacy you know you ui right now it's just a mishmash there's been a mishmash for years sun valley i don't think is going to like overhaul everything i don't know how far it's gonna go because let me tell you dollar for dollar my uh my mac is speedy but that pc that i have that runs the stream is also very very speedy and i'm not a gamer so i have a lot more flexibility mm-hmm biggest issue ms needs to cater to businesses it depends on legacy well in my mind now i thought they accomplished this why can't they throw that legacy stuff just into straight up virtual machines and move forward with something else i don't know i don't know all i'm saying is that microsoft seems to be very aware that the mishmash of ui from across the years is starting to look clutzy and sloppy then they're working to fix it that's what the sun valley update's gonna be and i don't know how far it's gonna go i'm glad it's going my concern is that it doesn't go far enough like i don't want to see any legacy components at all ever ever not into it not interested thank you travis appreciate you hanging uh well i'm not going to cast aspersions i i'm this camera the one that's pointed down towards the um the print oh this is a it's only three years old it's an ipad pro my only concern is i i don't think ios does a very good job with parental controls compared to like android i have android a lot more for that a lot more but it's just not as good a solution for what we need it for so what i might try tomorrow is a zero percent infill but then rotate this see how well see we see which one works better ios is crap for parental controls yeah that's that was my that was my assessment i'm like this is not great i don't have much of a choice got a kernel oh man really hate when that happens as long as i don't spit it up on the bed i'm getting a different one the problem was jedi i don't like the fire tablets they they kind of suck they're really slow really janky and the the chromebook that we had uh jedi accidentally stepped on the screen shattered i'm like oh my god i'm i would never hand jedi a windows pc no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no i'm not getting the 12.9 inch ipad that's that's way too big way too much screen for me google hasn't been impressed with any of google's attempts in the tablet space chrome os i really like i really like the idea of chrome os and i think jedi you know as she moves forward is probably going to end up with a chrome book once she's able to take care better care of it but for the time being you know to get her to use abc mouse and the other educational apps admittedly she also has games and other crap on there but now for a laptop 17 inch or nothing that's what i used to say and then i i i had to compromise i think chrome os is beyond pretty neat i it's really really nice like for what it is and what it can do like i'm continuously impressed but that said i'm not just going to go out and replace a tablet every other month when the screen cracks you know so i'm basically making do with uh with what we have at our disposal so we're we're gonna have we're gonna have that i think she's gonna get a kick out of it my concern is monitoring time and you it's it's difficult to do on ios compared to android she had an android phone i had an old knock around and then that she dropped that and it cracked i'm like yeah i'm just i'm not going to give her here's another here's another he's not like no no no like i you know at some point it's like if this is this is it like i'm not just going to keep doing this every year it's asinine take care of your devices otherwise you're not going to have them she's young i'm not going gonna blame her she's six i'm not your ex broke his ipad the minute he took it out of the box oh man that sucked find a tablet built like the old game boys yeah no doubt i'm not sure i mean it could boil down to finding a better uh uh case this is an ipad pro 11 inch like first gen i think and uh finding potentially a better than the keyboard case to keep it better protected it's already bent in the middle for some reason somehow it got bent somehow it got warped i've used it every day since getting it but um i've do i had i i thought about like because i mentioned why not why don't we get like a mini i'm like well if you know if this gets shot then yeah we probably will end up with that because i'm not going to spend an arm and a leg on these things i mean that is it's expensive but you also you get ipad and you get the compatibility of ios it's just smaller but it's at the point where there's no point we've got this device and there's no there's necessarily no point necessarily downgrading from this device it's got a good screen it's fast the only issue would be that it it breaks and so i don't it but it's a it's do we spend the money on a new ipad and and sell this one but not really make anything and get a downgrade or do we continue to use this one the ipad pros had a problem where they came bent from the factory and inbox really maybe that was it interesting i i noticed that one one day i just like said what the how the hell did that get bent i did not know that really first gen ipad pro has a lot of life that's what i'm saying dude it's like this is more than ample especially for like the stuff that she's doing she's not like even if she were to do something intense you know it would be more than ample and i'm i'm better with her on ios i'm happier with her on ios minus the parental control issue shortcoming i'm just going to navigate around that or work around it as best i can by not you know by locking it down as much as possible like installations and new apps and in-app purchases and of some days i've gone through like why what the hell is going on well i had a dream last night that you were blah yeah now i have my dreams ever since i was a kid dreams that have felt so dream dream worse than a nightmare you can't move and you see a dark figure you may not see a dark figure but like you you start you're in between a sleep and a dream you're you're you're awake you know you're awake and you know where you are and you feel like i mean there have been times that i i wake up i don't it's not sleep paralysis is like paralysis you're frozen and you cannot move and it takes everything in you to move you know anything and when you get yeah it's it's scary because you can't you can't do anything and then when you wake up you're like you're it's it's a feeling of terror because you are literally you are the you are at the whim of your environment at that point and it's it's just scary so it happened once and it feels like like something's on your chest i don't know about that but and you can't move like i felt something heavy on my chest and i couldn't move and i saw a black figure and i couldn't move and we vlogged it i think yeah a long time ago it's the scariest thing ever and it's never happening again see i i've had it throughout my entire life i mean i can't remember the last time i had it but let me put it this way i've had dreams where like i just can't i can't get back to sleep i'm like it was just too scary it was just like it's it's too much like i'm like i can't i'm like oh man it's just it's it's too much for me i i mean there but i like puzzles are fun i like and you'd like fart in the middle of my zen i can't do a puzzle up here very easily there's not a lot of space we've got a the dining room table is probably the best place put them somewhere where are they going to go how are they going to be displayed where are they going to be displayed and i don't have an answer to that question because i can't exactly cram a full-on lego set in this shelf right a little darth vader collectible easy simpson's house is still in the basement yes it is still there with all the simpsons characters my concern is that jedi slips falls
