**Upcoming Book Releases: A Look at Seven Highly Anticipated Titles**
There are 12 different kids, and I'm sure there's 12 different short stories they kind of all intertwine. I love a good anthology or collaboration with authors, so I'm excited for this one. It sounds kind of dark and gritty, so I'm very very excited for that. What I'm hoping to get an arc very very soon, so I can't wait to read it.
One of my most anticipated books for the entire year is "One Dark Throne" by Kadar Blake. This is the sequel to "Three Dark Crowns," which I read last year and fell in love with. Since I don't want to give away any spoilers, I'll just say that the first book is about three sisters who are separated at birth because every generation, three triplets are born. These girls have magic in them, and they're sent to different places until the age of 16 when it's a fight to the death. Whoever is left standing will become the next Queen in this patriarchal world where girls rule. It's also a great political novel with all these different intrigues of girls trying to be the queen.
I thought "One Dark Throne" was looking like the last one, but I think it's a quartet now, so I'm not sure what to expect. The author said that by the end of this novel, one girl will be sitting on the throne, which has me excited to see how it all plays out.
I also have my eye on "Invictus" by Ryan Granite. Oh, so excited! If you didn't know, I love Ryan Granite's duology "Wolf by Wolf," which is one of my favorite books of last year. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves sci-fi time-travel stories that are like "Doctor Who" meets "Guardians of the Galaxy." This book is about a guy named Far Away, who was born outside of time and has failed his last effort at a time-traveling thing at a time-traveling exam. He gets stuck on a ship with his crewmates, where they're kind of illegally smuggling things, and he goes back to the Titanic sinking and steals some things. He meets a girl, who takes them all in, and that's basically it for now.
I love sci-fi books, and I'm not reading nearly enough of them this year, so I'm very excited to read "Invictus." Ryan Granite is an amazing author, and I've heard great things about this book. It screams fall to me, which is perfect timing. However, I thought this was a standalone, but that's kind of not the appeal for me to read it.
Finally, there are seven books on my list for this month, all of which I'm very excited about. One new release that I would like to get to this month is "Last Magician" by Maximo Ibarra. This one was released in my Lit Joint Creed a couple months ago, and I just don't know it screams fall to me. It's all about magic and things of that nature. However, I've heard good things about it, and I thought this was going to be a standalone. Either way, I would like to read it.
The other six books on my list are "One Dark Throne" by Kadar Blake, "Invictus" by Ryan Granite, as well as five more new releases that I'm very interested in reading this month. However, since they've spent the October back perfectly, I'll be reading them next month.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello everyone today I'm sharing with you my September TBR September is here I'm excited and nervous all at once because when September hits that's when like the busy season his I think for everybody it's back-to-school time it's you know kind of the heart it's kind of the start of like the holiday season things just get a little bit hectic and that's also certain that busy season for like my weddings like I usually am pretty busy in the spring and in the fall and I have like four weddings this fall so it's gonna be a fun and exciting and very very busy season also with that is a huge release for books this month which I feel like every single year May and September are the months where book releases are just insane in the books I'll be reading this month by new releases and so my most anticipated releases of the entire year so I'm very excited to read I mean I've been somewhat in a slump this past month I think the booktubeathon has a whole kind of resume up for reading and then kind of winds me down so I'm kind of getting out of a song but I know I can break past it to get through these amazing new releases so I'm going to show you what books I'm planning to read this September first new release book that I want to read this month is Tower of dawn by Sarah J Matz this is the sixth I forget book in the throne of glass series this is gonna be off from Kayla's perspective this is pretty much a Cale centric book so in the last book Kail was not in the book at all and I'm this time honestly because I really enjoy Kayla's character not a lot of people do either love kill or you hate kill I don't know a lot more people tend to hate tail than love him I fall in the opposite category I love Cal so I'm very excited to see what he was up to during the last events of during the events of the last book so I'm very excited for this book not a fan to cover because I don't feel like it goes with the theme at all and very very excited to read because I'm a cowgirl I'll just say it probably the most unpopular opinion ever the next book I plan to read in September is war cross by Marie Lu this comes out the 12th I'm so lucky to have an arc of it thank you so much to penguin a book that's about a kind of on futuristic world or no it's not about that it's like a virtual reality road imagine that think of Skog utopia and ready player one it's about a girl about me was actually a hacker within the world of work across the virtual reality broad she does it to make ends meet because she's not really well on funds and then one day she kind of breaks into like the opening termina or the International Terminal like war cross and she becomes an overnight sensation like overnight and then the creator of war cross himself actually invites Anika to Tokyo to kind of like be a spy and like the tournament that international tournament or the big big field of war cross and he just wants her to kind of spy because there's a big security from nothing but amazing things about it this is very very different from the real books I've read which I've all enjoyed so I'm very very excited to read this one because I like I said I've heard nothing but things about it and I really enjoy everything writing the next newly released book that I planned to read is girls made of snow and glass by militia that char ghost I want to say I went kind of out of order this actually comes out on the fifth as well as the next couple ones I'm talking about this one says this bloody chamber meets frozen in this fantasy feminist fairy tale basically this is like a dark retelling of Snow White if you will we have the stepmother you know kind of the Evil Queen her name's me and our mother is dead her dad is a magician and her father actually replaced her real heart with a heart of glass so that's why she's kind of evil if you will because she's never had a real heart she wants to be the Queen and wants to fall in love with the king and of course you can guess what happens then we have the point of view from the daughters no why could essentially whose name is Lynette let it actually learn that her father had her created to look just like her late mother by a magician like made out of snow she's made out of snow and then the Queen's made out of glass so basically you can guess what happens from there it's a very very dark retelling of Snow White Witch I'm down for so I'm excited to read this one it's definitely perfect for like the fall vines because it's kind of spooky and eerie and kind of creepy so I'm excited for this one I don't know if this is her debut novel yes this is her debut novel that's awesome I haven't read too much date I read too many debut novels here so I'm excited to read that one the other one that I want to read that comes on the fifth is feral youth this is a collaboration story or like an anthology it's a whole bunch of stories they have a whole bunch of authors I think the primary one the ones edited by Sean David Sean David Hutchinson and this like kind of a take on canterbury tales' if you will which I don't know if you read that in high school I had to read it and I was actually one of the few that enjoyed it it's kind of all about where this wilderness can't watch all these kids get set to it's kind of like the last ditch effort all these kids have kind of done wrong things they've been in the wrong so it's kind of like their last hope this camp is so basically they have a whole bunch of weeks of grueling like wilderness training and how to survive in the wild I'm just really trying to hammer into them you know to try to hammer into them respect and you know teach them things and then one day their teachers leave them like kind of out in the wilderness out of nowhere and like it's 12 miles back to camp so they have to find their way back mixed in with that all these kids have to tell a story I believe and there's a cash prize I don't know how that kind of flows with the actual plot of the book but either way you can guess if there's 12 different kids I'm sure there's 12 different short stories they kind of all intertwine I love a good anthology or collaboration with authors so I'm excited for this one it sounds kind of dark and gritty so I'm very very excited for that what I'm hopefully getting an arc very very soon so I can't wait to read it look that is one of my most anticipated for the entire year is one dark throne by kadar Blake this is the sequel to three dark crowns which I read last year and fell in love with since I can't tell sisters are born and they get kind of sent away to different places and they each have magic in them so girl can adjust poisons that having problem one girl is like nature she can really flow well with like flowers and nature and animals and things like that other girl is very very crucial to elements she can control the wind and the fire and things like that so basically these girls are separate until the age of 16 when it's like the fight to the death and whoever is left standing will become the next Queen this is all a patriotic world where girls rules like girls have always ruled so that's really really awesome and it's also a great like a political novel where you have all these different intrigues of girls trying to be the queen and it's just a really really amazing book it's a slow-burning book I will say that so give it time if you read it but either way I am very very excited for this one I thought this was looking the last one but I think it's a quartet now so I I've been in the Sun so I don't know I am adding a seventh one just in case I'm feeling fancy and gonna do it the one I would like to read is last magician by at least a maximal I got this in my lit
