My Second Pro 2 Top 16 - A Little Too Aggressive...
hi guys so it a to Formula Drift st. Louis pro - we're just going into pro to practice before they get into the top 16 battle so if you guys watched Adams video yesterday he actually qualified first with a 94 and at 90 so he killed it in practice figured out some issues with the car this morning why the water pump wasn't turning on it was a slight wiring issue - Adam just did his first run of practice and there about 5:30 or so we're going to get into the pro - from crow to top 16 though he's in the car he's in the zone and pretty busy this morning doing meet-and-greet and all that stuff over at the rig but car super dial I think he's in the zone and I will see what we can do today all right so Adams getting ready to go for his last practice run since he is number one qualifier he is the first battle of the night so we're gonna kind of cut practice a little bit short just to go back to the pits make sure everything is all dialed in the car give it a chance to cool down and having like one or two issues with the power steering getting a little bit warm otherwise everything seems to be super solid today he's been put throwing out some really nice runs what you guys have obviously already seen but I'm just using a little Milwaukee blower cooling down the power steering stuff in the front
I go ahead I can eat shotgun it how is that there it is it's not a shotgun a watermelon just pop the top and go to get that you watermelon one way sir oh wow coming Morgan next up originally from Connecticut now residing in Florida in dine and tjuku racing s15 it is Adam LZ gentlemen let's send it all right so now we're just gonna chill and hang out unfortunately that's not gonna ruin a today's I think because I didn't get first just some thoughts while we're still fresh in the moment regardless of the fact that I didn't really do that well I think we've still come really far as a team in both how we've been able to perform we've been able to handle the mishaps and the car is infinitely better than it was and even though I kind of feels like that same old man another bajillion dollars up and smoked for an ft round we are showing lots of improvement as a team with the car and I feel like as a driver I'm able to finally do what I want with the car put it where I want
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys so it a to Formula Drift st. Louis pro - we're just going into pro to practice before they get into the top 16 battle so if you guys watched Adams video yesterday he actually qualified first with a 94 and at 90 so he killed it in practice figured out some issues with the car this morning why the water pump wasn't turning on it was a slight wiring issue - Adam just did his first run of practice and there about 5:30 or so we're going to get into the pro - from crow to top 16 though he's in the car he's in the zone and pretty busy this morning doing meet-and-greet and all that stuff over at the rig but car super dial I think he's in the zone and I will see what we can do today all right so Adams getting ready to go for his last practice run since he is number one qualifier he is the first battle of the night so we're gonna kind of cut practice a little bit short just to go back to the pits make sure everything is all dialed in the car give it a chance to cool down and having like one or two issues with the power steering getting a little bit warm otherwise everything seems to be super solid today he's been put throwing out some really nice runs what you guys have obviously already seen but I'm just using a little Milwaukee blower cooling down the power steering stuff in the front I'm a shotgun someone right I go ahead I can eat shotgun it how is that there it is it's not a shotgun a watermelon just pop the top and go to get that you watermelon one way sir oh wow coming Morgan next up originally from Connecticut now residing in Florida in dine and tjuku racing s15 it is Adam LZ gentlemen let's send it all right so they just got done with top 16 introductions for pro to Adam is going against Dustin miles in that s13 over there so yeah first battle top 16 nothing Adams feeling pretty good you ready to go well good start in the lead position every lead driver would love to gap the chase driver but the way that you want to do it is by following the judging criteria not cutting the line getting out to those outside zones the touch and goes and LZ is able to do that he's deep into that second outside zone here goes into the touch and go right up against the wall good slide there miles is trying to play catch-up in certain parts he had an opportunity a little bit to attack on that wide sweeping inside clip and we'll see it from this angle here watch as he leaves this touch this outside touch and go miles cuts up on the inside he takes a tighter line there had him taking a little bit out of his overall performance a gain proximity but I think he kind of more or less had to do that but we saw from Adam LZ a really solid clean lead run that is gonna give him a lot of confidence going into his chase run and this will be the first time that we've seen an official chase run from him so the pressure is on for both drivers here to perform and make it on into the grade eight Brian well I think the judges are really going to be analyzing the chases but also the leads because Dustin miles not too shabby in the lead position gets out to that first outside zone hits the touch-and-go tight through that inside cook let's watch him here on this second outside zone I think LZ did that a little bit better in his lead but miles is nice and tight on that touch and go LZ surging forward to continue gun he was really surging from that inside clip lost some ground to miles here as watches he transitions nearly hits the the rear right wheel of miles keeps angle in the car but it is definitely going to be a mistake and it'll be worth noting so as we await we will find out what's going on slide them left for Dustin miles right for Adam LZ Ryan Andy and Brian Dustin miles gets the victory honestly and I'd have to watch Michael just see what happened I was a little I don't want to blame it on it I was slightly distracted Jamie's overflowing so I dwell all over my feet so that's I shouldn't even mention that because it's irrelevant I just I was really close to in the beginning and then I had a little too much speed it kind of washed out a little bit and they did the same thing towards the back of the track and even though I don't think he had the absolute most perfect he didn't wash out or spin out like I did so unfortunately I got knocked out in the first battle again but at least I didn't spin and put a little bit better battle and got some good tannins in practice the good news is though I lost to Dustin Dustin to friend of mine I'm glad in it lose to someone that I don't like like Josh Robinson that was a really really upset me but no Dustin he deserves it as car sick he's got style and style for miles I think it's a slogan anyway yeah so now we're just gonna chill and hang out unfortunately that's not gonna ruin a today's I think because I didn't get first just some thoughts while we're still fresh in the moment regardless of the fact that I didn't really do that well I think we've still come really far as a team in both how we've been able to perform we've been able to handle the mishaps and the car is infinitely better than it was and even though I didn't get farther in the battles I feel like I get the car and I feel way more comfortable than I did in the past so I feel like we've all kind of improved so even though I kind of feels like that same old man another bajillion dollars up and smoked for an ft round we are showing lots of improvement as a team with the car and I feel like as a driver I'm able to finally do what I want with the car put it where I want I just need to be more strategic in the sense that I probably shouldn't go on so hard on last round I probably could have given him more space and not mess myself up but I guess that's just one of those things I have to learn I'm always on kill mode because I treat every single battle like alright this might be my last battle so I want to put on a show and unfortunately that's not the way to win competitions and I know that but also one common thing that I see a lot of the haters say is that uh you get more seat time in your car you need to practice more that's what I try to do those festival events and it kind of works where the problem is you guys don't really understand no one runs these cars of this caliber just for fun so there really isn't a place to practice with a gripped up s15 like mine where other people are running there's unless it's like a pre FD proper like practice session which is far and few so even though the event that I've run where it looks like people have their Pro cars usually they're running like a less grippy tire they're a demo car or something that's kind of loose that it doesn't feel the same did you just say where the strippers at James's and no nothing nothing all right so we have this coach we're joined we were trying to sound cool to all these random girls in our suite talking about strippers so instead of saying pepperoni pizzas in the brownie no barbecue ticket strippers every two chickens true cool so I just wanted to leave this video out go I'm not gonna film tomorrow because there's nothing going on tomorrow except hanging out we're gonna eat some hope you guys are doing the FT videos we may get some video tomorrow here's some random hot dogs different sending out all day shout out to cook it those aren't surfers but you say that the same\n"
