DOLLAR TREE Craft Closet Organization!!!

Organizing My Craft Room: A Journey of Transformation

As I stood amidst the chaos of my craft room, I knew it was time to take action. The space was bursting with unorganized chaos, and I needed a way to reclaim it. So, I decided to start by clearing everything off the shelves and sorting items into categories. This process was not an easy one, but it was necessary for me to create a functional and organized space.

I began by setting up my study bin, which would serve as a central hub for all my educational supplies. I placed flashcards, pencils, and other essential tools within reach, making sure they were easily accessible for both myself and my daughter. To make the most of this bin, I added labels to categorize each item, ensuring that we could quickly identify what was inside.

Next, I tackled the task of organizing my miscellaneous items from the Dollar Tree. The collection consisted of leftover ribbon, tags, accessories, and other knick-knacks that I had accumulated over time. By grouping these items together, I was able to find a home for each one, eliminating clutter and creating a sense of order.

As I continued on this organizing journey, I turned my attention to the ice cube tray. This humble item proved to be a versatile tool, perfect for crafting tiny thread bobby things that could be used to make bracelets. I filled the trays with additional items, including buttons, ladybugs, and embellishments, creating a makeshift collection that would serve as inspiration for future projects.

Another drawer caught my attention, which had been left untouched for quite some time. Upon opening it, I discovered a trove of miscellaneous items, including Circle wood cutouts, glitter, and glue sticks. These supplies would be used in various crafting endeavors, and by grouping them together, I was able to make the most of this drawer's potential.

To further enhance my organization system, I created a label for each section of the room, providing a visual reminder of what lay within. This helped me stay on track, ensuring that everything had a designated home. With labels in place, I felt more confident that I could maintain this newly organized space.

In an effort to utilize every available inch of my craft room, I experimented with different storage solutions. The colory organizer proved to be an excellent addition, allowing me to categorize paint brushes, pencils, and other supplies by color. This system not only made it easier to find the right tools but also created a visually appealing display.

Moving on, I turned my attention to the third drawer, where I employed the same organizing technique as before. This time, however, I utilized an even more specific approach, grouping items like pens, button pins, and safety pins together. The result was a tidy collection that would serve as inspiration for future crafting endeavors.

As I delved deeper into my craft room, I discovered various other sections that required attention. In one drawer, I found a assortment of paint brushes, pencils, and miscellaneous items, all grouped together to create an organized whole. Another section was home to a variety of materials used in scrapbooking, including books on the subject.

In an effort to make the most of my space, I repurposed an old locker shelf from my daughter's time at school. By converting it into a storage unit for glassware and other supplies, I created a functional addition to my craft room. This new section would provide me with ample storage for items that were difficult to organize elsewhere.

As I explored the various sections of my craft room, I came across several books purchased from the Dollar Tree during Halloween celebrations. These books had been relegated to the back of the shelf, but now, they found a new home among the crafting supplies. By placing them in the craft room, I was able to utilize these resources and create new projects.

Finally, I addressed my collection of games, cheer clothes, and costumes, which were tucked away into various boxes and bins. By grouping these items together, I created a visually appealing display that showcased the different themes and ideas on hand.

In conclusion, organizing my craft room was a transformative journey that required patience, dedication, and creativity. As I looked around at the newly organized space, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment knowing that I had reclaimed control over this sacred area of my home.

clean out this area more pom poms okay so now that I have everything kind of cleared out except for this very top here with the teddy bears and items I'm going to leave those there for now cuz I really don't know where else I would put them I did decide that I'm not going to have any holiday items in here for right now I'm going to attempt to take Valentine's Day stuff Easter stuff that I found in here and put it into my entryway closet so with that said I'm going to move on and do the next step which is cleaning so I'm going to clean the top of the shelves I'm going to wipe down the dresser and I picked this up at the Dollar Tree I've talked about this I haul this and I love this so for now the this could change but I think I want to set these on top of this dresser it fits perfectly and I do like how that looks of course I could also um get some labels which I think I will but I don't know what's going to go inside of them yet so that's not my biggest concern okay so I also haul these two big bends from the Dollar Tree as well and I'm just testing this out so let's see what they look like up here I really like that that looks really nice as I'm going through my items I have found some Easter stuff in a bag from the Dollar Tree and found more Easter stuff in this glass jar and this glass jar is really great I do a lot of Dollar Tree florals so I'm going to go after each year of school so as I'm seeing things like this I'm realizing how I can use this to utilize for my sticker organization I talked about wanting to get a binder and really organize my stencils so now that I've cleaned out all of my drawers it gives me the chance to kind of look at everything that I have and decide how can I best organize these items now of everything that I had the most item that I saw frequently was ribbon so now I'm deciding okay okay how much ribbon is that will it fit into one of those Dollar Tree containers or does it actually need its own entire drawer in my dresser after seeing all of the ribbon the size of the like some of the biggest spools of ribbon I've decided that I'm going to dedicate one entire drawer for ribbons so let's go ahead pull all of those ribbons from all of its random places put them together spool them up nicely and start organizing them into one of these drawers okay so now I'm going to focus over on the shelf over here this is a great space and height if you were to use this closet for clothes right because you've got a bar here there's a bar at the top here that you can't quite see but because I'm not actually storing clothes on this top rack it's kind of like a lot of dead space so a a great way to utilize a space for storage would be to add some shelves now this is actually something that I found in amongst all the junk in here part of the junk was a bunch of like locker items from my daughter's Middle School years and I went through a bag and found the shelf and thought why don't I use this put it here and little random items like buttons these are like little ladybugs just embellishments and some like sticker tags that I didn't have a home for and I love that I have a ton more left for anything new these already have some like Circle wood cutouts um I use these for a cheer thing and so they fit nicely in here I put glitter in this side inside this container they didn't all fit but I didn't know where else to put my Glitter In the meantime here's some more glitter and I used this box to put all of my sewing stuff if I can open it so I put the sewing kit I put the sunglass repair kit and I'm absolutely thrilled about this because it's now in one place and I will always find it here's a bag just of ribbon scraps and then I have little craft items like clothes pens and little C boards I have actually a really interesting thing I want to do with that I will share it with you guys I have some skin sticks and then I put the letter cutouts over here and then I have some fabric markers over here in the third drawer I used the colory organizer I put some paint brushes and pencils and like miscellaneous items these are like um penss what do they call those button pins I don't know and safety pens and like Random clips and then I have just some tape and hot glue sticks and inside of these are just like different colored rhinestones these are like hearts these are little flowers
