The Oxford Advantage App: A Comprehensive Learning Platform for Students

As we begin our journey through the Oxford Advantage app, we find ourselves standing in front of a screen that is about to reveal its full potential. The first step in unlocking this platform is to log in with the name of your word. In this instance, I am using an ID belonging to a student from class fifth. Next, we need to fill in the password and click on the "Sign In" button. Upon successful login, we are greeted by a vast array of books that are available for our ward. The subjects and their corresponding books can be seen clearly on the screen.

The left-hand side of the screen features a navigation menu that allows us to access various sections of the app. Clicking on the three lines visible on the right side of the screen opens up a dropdown menu, providing us with options to view our reports and assignments. The first option we choose is to view our report. As we click on this button, the app takes a moment to generate the report, which finally appears on our screen. We can see that the name of our word, class, and admission number are displayed prominently at the top of the page.

Below the header, we find an overview of the student's performance across all subjects. In this case, there are five subjects listed, excluding Punjabi and Computer Science. The total number of assigned tests is 26, with 25 completed and one outstanding. The term "overdue" refers to a test that has not been attempted by the student due to possibly late submission or other reasons.

We also notice a graphical representation of the student's performance, which includes percentage marks for each subject. This detailed information provides valuable insights into our ward's strengths and weaknesses. We can see that the student has performed well in most subjects but may require extra attention in certain areas.

Next, we navigate to the "Activity Center" section by clicking on the three lines visible on the left side of the screen. The Activity Center displays all the activities assigned by the teacher, which can be viewed at a glance. We see that there are several upcoming activities, online classroom activities, pending activities, and completed activities listed here.

To view the subject-wise activities individually, we click on "View All Activities." This opens up a list of all the subjects, allowing us to access specific activity reports for each one. By selecting an individual subject, such as Social Studies, we can see the corresponding activity report.

On the right-hand side of the screen, we notice four colored boxes – yet to view (gray), overdue (brown), rejected (red), and completed (green). These colors indicate the status of assignments and tests submitted by the student. The red dot indicates an outstanding test that has not been attempted, while the brown color signifies a test that is overdue.

We also find a section displaying remarks and marks assigned by the teacher to our ward. In this case, we see that the student received 15 out of 15 marks for their Social Studies assignment. This detailed information provides valuable insights into our ward's performance and helps us identify areas where they need extra attention.

Finally, we come across an option to motivate our wards to use the listening tool effectively. By clicking on this rectangle, we can access features such as playback mode and a dictionary. We also find notifications sent by teachers, which provide additional context to our ward's assignments and activities. These updates are crucial in keeping parents informed about their child's progress.
