Can Your Jeep Flex Like This

**The Great Jeep Rescue: A Day of Tires and Triumph**

It was a typical day on the road, with the sun beating down and the sound of gravel crunching beneath the tires. But for this group of friends, it was about to become an adventure of a lifetime. They were on a mission to rescue a stranded Jeep, and nothing was going to get in their way.

The first step in the process was to assess the situation and come up with a plan. "Okay, Lizzy, you want to run this jack under the yeah," said one of the friends, referring to the jack they had brought along. "Put it under the function flip it up, yep okay." As they worked, they chatted about their plans for the day and the challenges that lay ahead.

As they began to work on the Jeep's axle, one of the friends pointed out that it was a bit wonky. "Does this axle look level with the jeep?" he asked, examining the vehicle's frame. The answer was no, but they were determined to fix it. With a collective grunt, they got to work, flipping and adjusting the axle until it was finally in position.

As they worked, one of the friends pulled out a toolbox and began to tinker with some cables. "I don't know why we're down here working on the ground like this," he said wryly. But despite the rough conditions, they were making good progress. The Jeep's tire was finally starting to look like it belonged back in its wheel well.

But just as things were going smoothly, one of the friends mentioned that the axle looked a bit uneven. "Is it level?" another friend asked, and the group gathered around to take a closer look. After a few minutes of deliberation, they decided that yes, it was finally level and ready for action.

With the Jeep's axle now firmly in position, the group turned their attention to the tire itself. They had managed to get it onto the jack, but it still looked like it was stuck fast. "Let's see what happens," one of the friends said, as they carefully pulled on the tire. To their surprise, it finally started to come free.

As they worked, another friend mentioned that he had been watching a video about shop with a cop, a program where police officers take underprivileged kids shopping for Christmas. He explained how the program works and how it has made a real difference in the lives of those involved. The group was touched by this story, and decided to get involved.

"We'd like to help this year to make sure that they have everything they need to have a great christmas," said one of the friends, explaining their decision. And so, they launched a patch campaign, with all proceeds going to support the shop with a cop program. The response was overwhelming, with many people pre-ordering patches and donating money to help the cause.

As the day drew to a close, the group gathered together to reflect on what had been achieved. They had rescued the Jeep, and in doing so, had made a real difference in their community. And as they looked up at the sky, they couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and satisfaction. It had been a long day, but it was a job well done.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enall right we've got another day of working on the banana here got tom tom back in the shop hello and lizzy's going to be working with us today rudy on the other hand is what going to work on the gates he's going to work coming later all right we've got to get the strut installed on the driver's side and we're plating all of this to strengthen it up so we've got a bottom mount to do on the axle and a top mount that we've got to fit in around a bunch of stuff inside the engine compartment so we're going to be cutting this out and putting something else back there for the strut the shocks are hidden here right now all they're doing is keeping this axle from falling to the floor and we're about to get after this oh yeah groovy that's okay i can't dance what you're a country dancer right you are a dancer i can dance if i have a partner but i can't dance on my own well no partners around here howdy partner so we've already got that side done now we're on this side and we've got the master cylinder portioning valve the power steering plumbing from the reservoir we've gotta fit the tower in here that one won't fit here so we're gonna have to do some modification that's warm so that's the old this is how the spring went on and bump stop went in there forever gone my tomtom's doing that i'm gonna have lizzy pack this the together that's a nice i just eyeballed this tom hope how'd it go i hope it's good enough can we test fit it well no so we've had some comments about weld like weldable primer they want us to prime this before we weld it on in the climate that we're in um this will this will become a rust problem in about 250 years apologize to all you rust belters and we don't have to do any rust prevention here all right let's time lapse this bring it up and well let's see what's going on communication yeah you can get it up in there just touch the corner touch the corner okay oh we got a call we're sending trevor and ed and eric down somewhere near lake mead on the east side yeah there's gonna be a lot of yelling a lot of complaining and a lot of recovering you know the answer is the answer is 42. i'm obligated by contract to say yes is everybody having a good time what's the answer 42. no all right time for a briefing my underwear on today we're still ready for it we'll wait until the debriefing you want to come watch the debriefing there's no debriefing is there an unbreaking no a rebreathing rebriefing maybe so ed's decided not to go he's gonna stay and work on his rokon today trying to get that running again so this is this is the van you're going after you go down to bunkerville you turn right like you're going out to the bundys and you just stay on that road until you hit mexico if you hit mexico you've gone too far the most important thing is to get this gentleman safe whether that's getting him unstuck getting his tire changed and having him follow you out or if let's say he's in okay we're back so he knows you're coming he's hard to communicate with because on a satellite phone you can't reach him he can only reach you but he's promised his son he hasn't moved and i've got the pin and he's supposed to it's supposed to be a pretty capable rig and he's pretty capable himself he's 77 though he got stuck once got himself out now he's stuck again with a flat tire all right we got it drive safe don't forget to fuel up it's working on ed oh my valve check in there and i can't get it out i don't dare heat it now if we built this right it'll just go right up in place we're just tacking it together right now because there's a small chance we'll have to completely tear it apart it won't be fun but we could do it if it does fit then we'll just bomb it all together and have a good time with it okay let's see how we're lifting wow what are we hitting everything the hoses no you're hitting the brake thing i know but look at that um you're just barely tapping the hose yeah we ain't lined up yet okay so what i need is this exactly 12 inches off from the frame there it is that tower there needs to be 12 inches from the frame so it needs to go up about two more two more inches yeah so it's this proportioning valve that we're hitting which we can literally get rid of i don't need it we're incredibly well proportioned we don't need this valve let's take that whole thing off of there what whole thing a valve yeah and we'll have to re-plumb it okay let's get that out of the way all right i'm willing to work i'm willing to reroute the brake lines so a little bit frustrated because i'm having a hard time squaring up the gate frame to the brick wall so because of that my latch system is having trouble this is the man gate this one was a lot of fun to build actually pretty much got to do whatever i want with it and i got to do kind of a little cut out here that i've thought about for a long time never actually got to do until now and then you look over here and i got this thing posts for it and it covers that opening then i'll have to come over here and i'll show you another gate that i put together this one's fully functioning we just have to put a motor on it watch this wow that's a heavy gate right there we're headed into more a little smoother right it's 69 degrees fair weather slight breeze hey this is definitely smoother than blue steel two hours and 15 minutes away i think we can cut that down by half an hour oh yeah all right let's see if this fits any better note down right there it's about right there huh perfect all right okay lizzy you want to suit up and start welding again yes yes so you're going to be filling this in without building up anything that gets built up this way we're gonna have to grind off flat so if you want to just start there and okay level across here first and then just fill that hole what do you think they call it lake mead used to be full of beer maybe why do they call it like i have no idea he's up around this pen hello yeah we try to talk him in dude are you okay yeah okay hey hang on hang on i wonder if we got that picture with it going up in the air are you sure you're okay look at look at these scrapes and the breezes and stuff you've been walking along i don't even dare walk anymore do you think it's funny buddy up right and walking we don't have to rush you back to the hospital tell me your names it's eric terry eric eric all right and love trump trevor my pleasure i'm rich nice to meet you oh now that we've established we can't walk blowing tires so did you camp here last night yeah on that angle huh it's a pretty gnarly ditch yeah there too how long have you been having i don't think i'll be doing any running today this is a little steeper a little more challenging than it looks by far what's the plan eric i'm almost thinking we need to hook out it from behind so that we don't tip into that because i think you're more than capable of pulling out if we can get you some traction back on your drive tires hey holy smokes nice that's working remember long ago i said this was a temporary temporary fix now i'm making good on that statement some people say that's just temporary unless it works hanging on struts now wow those are i have a project involved you want these yeah start the there bidding feels solid does it sound hollow oh no it will be sand hollow once we go to the dunes yeah that's exactly what we needed to have so tom tom should we put that put that other one in i should have lizzie do this he's really good at this all right okay lizzy yeah you want to run this jack under the yeah put it under the function flip it up yep okay okay what's up do you want to pull that jack out point there lizzy it was all right to sacrifice yeah okay i don't know why we're down here working on the ground like this does this axle look level with the jeep rudy pretty good it'll be the first time in his life wow no wonder he couldn't get off the mark that was the lizzie tackle okay we need deals on this and keep your wheels turned just like they are and then i'm gonna get back up here and start pulling again let's see what happens okay guys hard we might be able to do it right there at me if i don't get ticks now the trick is can we walk back to the more rare without falling who made the call my son made the call you had to make one to him though there you go all right we made it back in there ended up getting them out changing the tire on it got down out of there but now without a few bumps scrapes and bruises was that a reference to me bump scrapes and bruises yes i want to see the bumps scrapes and bruises there's some scrapes the bruises are on his back because he hit really hard i thought bumbles bounced but they don't what is a bumble haven't you ever watched her shoot off the rest of those reindeer monster or whatever or vulnerable snowman they call them the bumble he says bumble's bounce eric's old okay get out of there carter it's dangerous so i want to see how it clears that fits incredibly good he's got a nice finger width all the way around anymore um you might barely be rubbing in here you probably are that's how you totally didn't leave anything on the right front and back though yeah so wow look at look at the acrobat the spring springs so how many inches is this i mean it's not going to be like a scientific measurement because look how much squat squish we have we're getting inches out of the low tires okay wow three feet 36 inches huh yep oh yeah 36 and one quarter inch three feet for the air 36 inches of flex that's not too bad that's not too bad holy smokes we're not the tire is what's bottomed out on the front yeah yeah so we're gonna have to do what's on the top yeah just everywhere that's what's stopping it you gotta clearance a little bit more and then put in a put in fender i'm pretty happy with it well that doesn't look so weird if you're out in the rocks i've been in this condition a lot so we were finally able to work on the banana again which is it felt pretty good i thought we got the struts on today lizzy did a whole bunch of welding tom did a whole bunch of welding too i didn't do anything hardly but look at this we got results today so now that you're done watching this video go over to fab rats check out the build on the golden nugget they're cranking away on that it's super exciting don't tell ed thanks for watching so we're here with representatives from hurricane police department and leverkum police department they have an amazing program they
